Went in with a pain that was after a vaccine shot my 2nd one boy this shot hurt so I seat for hrs I went back home to relive pain hot bath to warm the arm then went back to emergency room emergency staff saw I was in pain nurse and crowed their were amazing I was looked at and doctor was trying to figure out what meds for me to take so finally one worked but when they drew blood they saw that may lever was not operating correctly they gave me an IV and they made the IV flush out meds I took earlier so I seat for hrs and they kept me over a night to flush my out good the staff was amazing on the second floor mark who took me to rooms was an amazing gentleman Jackie the nurse was amazing Rayden was amazing Iusko the nurse amazing every single nurse amazing I felt like I was home I wanted to stay but Rayden came over to me real professional he did my release when I first arrived on the floor I met Jackie and Rayden what true professional the both of them were toward me I was speechless Noble I was born there and it felt like home again from the bottom of my heart thank you for making it feel like home the second shift had another pair of true professionals read more

I decided to give back to the community by volunteering at the Bay state noble and I was treated unprofessionally when I came to the volunteer application they never highlighted on the volunteer application that you needed to be up to date on vaccines and it took longer then expected and I had everything in one time after that and the COVID vaccine information and the Volunteer coordinator decided to cancel my application when I was all set to start early july. She sent me an unprofessional email saying I'm gonna cancel your application due to the time it took but it's completed and all set I feel I'm being discriminated against . read more

We went to Noble Hospital emergency room for my husband who was suffering from severe dry heaving and dehydration. NURSE TUTU and DR. DOUGLAS MCADOO, MD ------ were WONDERFUL showing care and concern and making sure that he received the right tests and treatment to resolve his problem. I've had 2 separate surgeries here and can highly recommend the professional staff. Much more personal and friendly than bigger hospitals yet I have the same surgeons. Because it is more low key the staff is much more attentive and I found they support one another which is rare to find in today's atmosphere. From the minute your greeted to the nurses and Drs. This was the worst care I have ever had. Of you can even call it care. TMI warning: I have been suffering from a very bad urinary tract infection, with almost all the symptoms accompanied including my urine filled with blood it was almost brown. I had gone to urgent care earlier in the day who prescribed antibiotics only for Walgreens to never fill them. Miserable and in so much pain I was nauseous, I went to the ER around 9pm. I was excited that there was only a couple people waiting. I got in, they took my vitals, gave me a cup to pee in and told me that someone would be with me soon. After an hour and a half I went to the window to see what was going on, thinking it was more serious than anticipated or that I could go home. I was told that in order to get my results I had to wait for a doctor to see me in an exam room and that there was no guarantee I would be next. I asked why this was as every other time I have gone to the doctors for a UTI I was seen entirely by a nurse (vitals, test results, prescription). And I was told that was just procedure. I told them to forget about it. I had been sitting there for almost two hours for a two minute conversation, I was in a lot of pain, and really wanted to lay down. I understand that ERs go by seriousness of injuries. But waiting for over an hour for a two minute talk and to be handed a couple pills that have already been prescribed seemed ridiculous to me. Call me a Karen but when you're in pain and miserable, sometimes you just want to be taken care of. read more

I have a 2inch long 1/4" deep gash from a chain link fence. I need a couple of stitches and a tetanus shot. I have been waiting 3 hours and told the nurse that I had been waiting for 3 hours and the nurse said to me,"that's not really a lot of time in the grand scheme of things". What????? It's 10pm and I have a job to get to that is just as important as anyone else. read more

Noble Hospital is an small, acute care community hospital located in downtown Westfield, Massachusetts. Even though the hospital has less than 100 beds they pride themselves on providing a broad range of expert services to Greater Westfield and the surrounding areas of the Pioneer Valley. The history of the hospital (and the City of Westfield) is interesting, and helps explain how this small town in western Massachusetts was originally established, and came to have its own hospital. The City of Westfield was founded along the banks of the Westfield River in the mid-1600s. The early settlers depended upon the river and later helped transform the town from an agricultural settlement into a thriving industrial city. During the early 18th century, Westfield was a prominent center of the buggy whip industry (you know, horse-drawn buggies?), and the city is still known as the "Whip City." Other firms in town produced bicycles, bricks, paper products, cigars, pipe organs, boilers and radiators, textile machinery, abrasives, wood products, and precision tools. All of this manufacturing unfortunately led to some horrific accidents at the various factories and mills, and so in 1893 Reuben Noble, a Westfield native who made his fortune in the manufacture of buggy whips, bequeathed a large portion of his estate to the establishment of a hospital that would serve the residents of the greater Westfield community. Mr. Noble took this action after suffering a serious injury and recognized the need for a local hospital. Fast forward to today, and Westfield still owes much of its success to the manufacturing industry, but also derives a great deal of its revenue from trucking and shipping. The city sits very near the major intersection of Interstate 91 (North - South) and the Massachusetts Turnpike (East - West). This "golden crossroads" of the Northeastern US means that the area is a hotbed for huge warehouse facilities from major retailers. And that's where Noble Hospital comes into play. In addition to supporting the residents of this section of the Pioneer Valley, Noble Hospital also tends to the emergency needs of the workers in these manufacturing and warehouse facilities. I was at the hospital for a business meeting, and had the opportunity to tour the facility and see the entire physical plant. Though small compared to many other primary healthcare sites, Noble Hospital is able to handle many of the emergency needs of their patients, and has taken steps to be self-sufficient during various natural disasters. Noble is a nice hospital with a lot of high-tech capabilities, and very compassionate staff. I've not been there as a patient, but was impressed by the variety of services that they offer to the community. read more
