Arrived and checked in. It's located in an office park so there's plenty of parking. When you enter, you put it name in the sign in book and take a seat. They'll call you up to supply insurance and ID and give you the paperwork you need to fill out. The day I went they just experienced a power outage so their machines were in process of restarting so the wait times were taking longer than expected and they were not even sure the machines would be back up and working. But the staff didn't mention this to anyone or call anyone with appointments to let them know. The only reason I knew was because of overhearing staff talk at the front desk. And when 1 lady asked about the wait time they told her. This type of information they should disclose to patients so that we are aware and should a reschedule be necessary because someone cannot wait then they can take those steps. The place is also FREEZING COLD! It literally felt like I walked into a meat locker. Finally called back and the nurse taking the mammogram was very nice. She even agreed about the coldness of the place. They walk you back to a room where you get undressed and place a gown on. You can keep your belongings in the little room while you go get scans done. They then walk up back to the dressing room and you are on your way. Quick and easy process. read more

I needed x-rays for some upcoming surgery, and Bayview is in Network and also close by. Very convenient. When I arrived 35 minutes early (they request 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork), they were pretty busy. I did not get the paperwork to fill out until about 5 minutes until the actual appointment time. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful though, even being slammed! When I went back to get the X-ray done... the young lady doing the X-ray was extremely nice and friendly. She made very sure that the images were perfect too... very dedicated. I will use Bayview anytime I need something, that they offer... great service, and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommended! read more

I've had occasion to come here three times in the past year, and I can state emphatically that it is my favorite/the best radiology place in town. Appointments are easily made over the phone or in person. The receptionists and technicians are all 5/5 stars - friendly, helpful, efficient, personable - absolutely everything you could want in customer service. When I needed an explanation of cost, one of the managers (owners?) came to my room and went over everything with me. The place has a nice large waiting room, but they also have smaller, more private waiting rooms if you are having a procedure done that involves being put in a surgical robe. The only star I deducted is due to their time management skills - two of my three visits I was seen past my appointment time. This last visit, which was scheduled directly after lunch, they were running 45-minutes to an hour behind; apparently Fridays are a big day for last minute emergencies. So - plan extra time, but definitely make that appointment which you've been putting off - they help to make it much more bearable. read more

The receptionist when I called to ask for an appointment about a test for infertility treated me very nice and explained me in a very nice way they are not doing it due to Corona guidelines. Not like some other clinics were they don't care how hard for us as women is to see that our treatments are in hold because of this. She is very nice and care about our feelings, also she is very fluent in Spanish what makes me even more comfortable when I make the calls requesting my appointment. Highly recommended. read more

Used to be a good place, been going here about 15 yrs. Never again. They have nose dived into an awful place. The techs are great. But that's it. I dont have any faith in the actual radiologists who allegedly look at the test. It's a shame after about 15 yrs this place went to the awful place it has become. read more

I was comparing prices for a MRI on my back and it was closed to $500 dollars, then I called the place my Dr recommended me (Park Place MRI Tampa) and it was $157 . Enough said! The people at Park Place were SUPER NICE. We have a new place to go to now, including my wife's mammograms. Also, with BayView my wife had several problems because the receptionist kept putting wrong billing codes in the computer and after several calls and talking to management we got refunded. Bayview Radiology has become my go-to place for X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and all of that wonderful radiological stuff. I've been here so often that I think they should name a chair in the waiting room after me. Maybe a little brass plaque or something like that? Two years ago I had a nasty automobile accident and really wrenched my back, neck, shoulders, and knees in the process. The doctor and chiropractor sent me to Bayview to get initial scans of everything, and then the subsequent looks at the soft tissue and spinal disks during the healing process. I am amazed that I don't glow in the dark after the number of times that I've been there, but I guess that is a testament to the wonderful job that they do at Bayview. Trust me, it is not a lot of fun to be enclosed in an MRI machine and lay there immobile and peaceful for 20 minutes while this noisy thing whirls around and around just an inch or so from your head. Pretty freaky stuff, but thankfully the staff is well aware that most people do not enjoy the experience, and they take steps to explain what will happen, and then calm your fears. If you have a choice of where to have your x-rays, scans, and ultrasounds conducted then I highly recommend Bayview Radiology. They're located in the office park at the intersection of Linebaugh Avenue and Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood. You'll find them right behind the Starbucks. I just had to make a Yelp review after a visit to this office. It was definitely a first for me, to go to a radiology office and was offered a free five minute massage!! The therapist Hope was absolutely amazing so I splurged on the deal $20 for 20 minutes of massage. I am a therapist myself, and was over due for a much-needed massage. I did some research before selecting this place for my mammogram. I needed a place that does 3D imaging and takes my insurance- Blue Cross. I called today to schedule the mammogram while I'm in the area (visiting my daughter from our overseas location). When I called the receptionist said, "Well... I'm not sure I can schedule an appointment for you. You live on an island." What?!! I live on the US territory of Guam. My doctor is American. I am covered by a nationally recognized insurance company. Additionally, they apparently do not offer 3D imaging. This is all contrary to the info I was previously given. I was able to schedule with my second choice of providers, so no harm done. read more

DONT GO UNLESS YOUR TIME MEANS NOTHING!!!! Poor time management on there end. They are real quick to take your money but not to get you back or let you know they might be a little behind upon signing in. You have to walk up and physically ask what is going on after waiting over an hour. Completely unprofessional. No respect for someone else's time. We recently had to have a shoulder MRI for my son and our experience with Bayview Radiology with all levels of staff from beginning to end has been terrible. I had to call multiple times and required additional attempts from my insurance company to coordinate with Bayview just to get a cost estimate for the procedure. I was given a set estimate and I agreed to set our exam date. During the process it was determined it took over 4 business days for the office staff to even submit to insurance for prior auth, almost costing us our appointment date. When we arrived I was advised of the fee, which we paid. When I took the disk to our surgeon for viewing, we found that they copied the imaging from the year prior and never copied the current imaging. 2 months later we received a bill for additional fees costing 50% more than the original estimate. With several conversations between Toni the office manager and Joe in billing it was determined that they never submitted for the correct CPT codes when I had originally asked for the price estimates prior to committing to their facility, as they missed 2 additional codes I was now being billed for. I had done cost comparisons and I could have had the same procedure at a different facility for a comparable price per the original estimate. It also came to light that they billed the insurance company for additional codes that are considered double billing as the add on codes are for procedures already included in other codes that were billed. Of course Toni & Joe would never admit to anything and just kept passing blame. They had no intent of correcting any of the multitude of issues or admitting that they had made several mistakes. I am beyond frustrated with their care and lack of professionalism. We have subsequently had similar services at UDI- University Diagnostic Institute and I would highly recommend UDI as an alternative. Updated 8/5/19: With the many calls I have had to make with their billing department, it has become clear that their billing company is a one man show (Joe) who is never in the office. On average of 10 calls made he has answered once. All calls go to voicemail and he will call you back within 1-3 days, or longer when he was on vacation. I recently visited this office for an MRI and had the BEST MRI experience I have ever had and I have been to a LOT of local offices, let me tell you! The entire staff was extremely friendly, courteous, professional and explained every detail of my visit to me. The registration process was quick, just a few papers to fill out, no biggie. They even offer you a MASSAGE! I mean, come on, who does that, right?! The MRI machine did not feel invasive at all, it was actually rather tolerable. The tech did a great job informing me of the process, letting me know when the scan was almost done, etc. All in all, I would highly recommend this place. read more

I highly recommend staying far away from this place. There customer service is very lacking. One of the girls here was very rude and then had a epiphany and decides on being helpful with a mix up of my appointment time. They were accommodating in the ended. So I go for my ultrasound, and the doctor at Bayview Radiology reviews my ultrasound and calls to let my doctor's office know that I either had a miscarriage or a cyst in my uterus. My doctor calls to let me know and said to get to the emergency right away. So I get to the emergency and they decided to take blood and urine test to check my hormone levels and possibly being pregnant. My hormone levels came back normal and pregnancy test was negative. So no pregnancy or miscarriage. The emergency does another ultrasound and it comes back with a completely different reading. I was relieved that I didn't have a miscarriage. But I was ticked that the doctor at Bayview Radiology charges me $160.00 and isn't accurate with his diagnosis. So I call Bayview Radiology and asked to speak with a manager, the receptionist that checked me in get's on the phone and pretends to be the manager. I know for a fact she was not the manager. I tell her who I am and what happened and all she said to me was the doctor reads what he sees. I plan on stopping by to speak with the real manager, the one who straightened out my appt. mix up. If you need a good radiology facility, go to Rose Radiology I have been there and they're great! read more
