I'm about as complicated a patient as they come - genetic connective tissue disease, multiple autoimmune disorders, etc. I'd suspected for a while that my wonky autoimmune panel coupled with chronic, recurrent infections pointed to an immunodeficiency, but even my primary care physician said, "Do you really need another specialist? And even if you're right, they probably can't test for it" and refused to help me find an immunologist. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Dr. Javaid Khan's profile online where he mentioned liking "complex cases," and he meant it! Dr. Khan took the ample time to review my history, ask questions, and engage in open dialogue. He treats you like a person, not just a medical record number. He quickly got to the bottom of my immunodeficiency, and was knowledgeable about my treatment options as well as how they may impact my other conditions. Dr. Khan and staff were always easy to reach should you have an urgent need, and always friendly. The treatment plan and the back office staff is amazing. They have always been kind and respectful. The reception area is very noisy. They have a tendency to talk loud on top of laughing very loud. It's nice everyone gets along and they enjoy their jobs, however it's unprofessional. The waiting room is always too loud with two TVs on. Add inconsiderate patients using their phones on speaker or watching videos loudly. Plus children running around and playing. Very overstimulating and frustrating to have to sit there. read more

My daughter has been getting seen by this female doctor for several years and I have never got a good taste from her. She comes off very insensitive and disregarding. My daughter has an actual allergy but when I bring up other things she might have sensitivity to she is very quick to just disregard it because it's not an "allergy." read more

They turned me away and did not help me told me that I was not allergic to anything when my allergy test was negative but my doctor said that I am I have the results and proof and it also says that I have allergies my nose is always stuffy can't breathe through my nose what does that mean they didn't say thank for your help read more

Been to this place several time for an itchy rash and clearly the lady I saw has no clue. Her solution was to coat my skin with Vaseline. That didn't work but my clothes got ruined and I had to sit on a lawn chair for the month I followed her instructions so I didn't get Vaseline all over our home's furniture. The biggest issue that I have with this place is their policies. Every year I suffer from seasonal allergies Every year I got the one time seasonal shot which worked for my busy schedule. Well apparently the seasonal shot isn't available once a year anymore so my doctor said this was the next best thing. I was under the impression that it would be the one shot or perhaps only two shot visit. I'm an extremely busy individual and I don't have time to come down and get my shot every week. And wait for 30 minutes each time. I will now have to cancel my shots and dr visits because apparently their policies won't allow me to administer my own shots at home. Staff are nice but at the end of the day I'm the one suffering. I AM SUFFERING SEASONAL ALLERGIES AND YOUR POLICIES. I will be seeking another patient friendly allergy clinic for sure. read more

I had a great first appointment with Dr. Sydney Long! The appointment scheduling process was easy and they got me in fast, I was able to compete the paperwork through an online portal before I got there, and didn't have to wait to be called back when I arrived. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional, and Dr. Long really took her time to understand the symptoms I was having, what I had tried before, and to explain what my allergy treatment options were. When my insurance didn't cover a prescription, she called me personally to let me know that she would be working on an authorization. I couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish and am grateful to have found this office! read more

I met with Dr. Park today for the first time, and she is wonderful. I have common variable immune deficiency, And for the past seven years I've driven to Stanford for my immunologist because I couldn't find anyone local who knew anything about it. She is very familiar with it, so I will finally have a local Doctor Who can deal with my crazy issues. On top of that, the staff here are incredibly friendly and super nice. read more

Came to the allergy clinic for allergy testing. Every staff member i had contact with for both my appointment was extremely thorough in their explanations. I have been going here for years and never had any issues going on, but today I had my very first issue with the women who answer the phone. I did not get her name but she was so rude towards me and thought it was funny. I came here for allergy shots and with the coronavirus going around I decided to stop coming, well I called because my allergies have been getting worse and the women I spoke it was a complete b*tch, she was questioning me on what my whole purpose was of calling when I told her from the beginning I didn't wanna get my shots and wanted an appointment with my doctor because my allergies were getting worse. She then told me when she had an appointment available for the next day, and I asked there isn't any openings right now? She said "well you are calling at the end of the day, and I said the end of the day would be 6 when you close it's only TWO. and she started laughing, then she went on by saying well it is late and I said ok I didn't know and she cut me off saying oh you didn't know you were in pain? So I said why are you being so damn rude? And she started saying that she's trying to help and I just hung up. I can't believe these women who are hired to be in a place for people who need help are this damn rude and not considerate. read more

This office is very disorganized and inconsistent with the service they provide. They have lost medical records, denied having records that have been provided multiple times, failed to call in prescriptions, had us come in for visits just to tell us that we should have gotten lab work done first, and shown us medical records that don't even match our sons details. Frustrated that there is not another pediatric allergist in the area. read more

I finally got referred here after suffering from terrible allergies for quite some time. I was very reluctant to come because being poked and prodded is not my idea of a fun afternoon, but I was desperate for some relief. After my primary referred me, they were very quick on getting me in for an appointment, which I appreciated because I know it's a busy "allergy season". Once I got to the physical office, everyone from the front desk staff, to the medical assistants, to the doctor were extremely sweet and comforting. Stacy was the one who applied my back scratch test and she was amazing! It didn't hurt at all and she was awesome. She also came back and checked during the waiting period to make sure I was comfortable and doing alright. The doctor offered me multiple solutions to the issues and I didn't felt pressured to do anything I didn't want to do. D Y Modesto I brought my wife to Baz Allergy because she had very serious itchy throat and could not sleep all night. Our family physician diagnosed as severe allergy. The appointment took almost 1 month. The nurse practitioner saw my wife and ordered skin test. She read the results, and she called out the doctor and told the doctor that my wife was a New Patient. The doctor did not come in the room, and the nurse practitioner explained to us that my wife does not have allergy. And she ordered some nasal spray and asked my wife to go back to see her in one month. I told the nurse practitioner that I am a Physician myself, and I have been practicing medicine for 45 years, last 39 years in Modesto. I have never seen a Medical Doctor who does not see a New Patient who has had serious symptoms and allow the nurse practitioner to diagnose and treat the patient all by herself. My wife insisted to see the doctor. At this point, the doctor showed up. She did not ask my wife about her problems, and did not do any physical examination herself. She did some explanations and ordered nasal spray as well. I feel this kind of medical practice is not acceptable in my standard. My wife will not go back to this office, and I will not refer any of my patients to this practice. read more

I have the luxury of walking into the clinic to get my allergy shots without having to make an appointment, and they even keep track of the 30 minutes required to stay in their office after receiving the injections. read more

posting this late due to sickness, but manager (michelle) IN MODESTO was rude and has no people skills, i just started bringing my son to allergy appts, 2 months ago as i walked in to the office the first person at the desk was the manager michelle, she didnt even acknowledge our entrance even thou we looked like lost deer (looking everywhere) she only says sign your name and have a seat. we waited for 8 minutes until she finally noticed us and gave me paper work to fill out, the dr was very sweet and the back office nina was super caring too. but at the check out with michelle again she just has this mean and mad look on her face like she hates her job. i decided to transfer to the office in turlock where the girls always have great energy and really love what they do, thanks to ely and blanca for making us feel welcomed and greeted as soon as we walked in. i feel like my son is getting the proper attention and treatment he needs.
