It was our first time staying in Tijuana and attending the festival. The food was excellent, we tried the brisket. Your $10 entrance fee allows you all-day access. We purchased bottles you can't get in Cali. We're looking forward to next year's expo.

Admission 100 Mexican Pesos or US $ 5. You can try free different types of tequila and you can also buy tequilas. There are also performances, Mexican folklore like dances, music, and songs. There is also a food court next to it. It is worth visiting and I recommend it. Tequila Expo in Tijuana is every year. My recommendation to avoid headaches buy good quality tequila with the words on the bottle "100% Agave" - BTW "How to Take a Straight Tequila Shot - The Spruce Eats https://www.thespruceeats.com ' Drinks & Cocktails ' Cocktails ' Cocktail Basics Feb 5, 2019 - "Lick, Sip, Suck" Moisten the back of your hand below the index finger (usually by licking) and pour on the salt. Lick the salt off your hand. The salt lessens the burn of the tequila. Drink the tequila. Quickly bite into and suck the lemon or lime wedge. The sour fruit balances and enhances the flavor of the tequila."

This festival was a massive disappointment. It wasnt on my radar but a friend had a spare ticket so…read morewhat's the worst that could go wrong? A lot, actually. The $12 tickets seems fair, until you realize all it gets you is in the door (after paying $20 in parking). There was not a significant amount of taco vendors and most were ridiculously overpriced ($20+ for three tacos) and had similar quality to what you might find at a county fair. As for the tequila tastings, its seems they instructed all the vendors to portion out .5oz shots to pour into your tasting glass and you only get six of these pours for the low price of $50! (+fees). Want a margarita? Well it seems like they may have whispered a bit of tequila into the sugary mess they poured into your cup. Well you know what you're getting with beer right? They'll happily sell you a Tecate for $12 and it wont even be on draft. Better value can honestly be found at Petco Park. Even finding a place to sit was harder than it should have been as there were way less tables in the eating are then there were people in attendance. We shared a table with some fellow festival goers, who were also disappointed in the cold, soggy carne asada fries they were served. No one deserves that. I would highly recommend this festival to anyone who hates money. And themselves.

Major rip off- It's a glorified average food truck street fair with overpriced drinks! Skip it!…read more It's $45 for a ticket with a margarita and then you have e to pay another $59 to sample 6 tiny tiny samples of different tequila. It's the music people come for and would save the dollars and spend elsewhere. Margaritas are $17.50!!

I found myself in a gallery until a security guard told me that this is a ticketed area and told me to get a ticket from the gift shop. I went to the gift shop and bought my ticket and then they directed to a separate building where the museum actually was. While I walked there, I passed by an aquarium and walked in and it turned out that you need a separate ticket for it! I left the aquarium and continued my quest to find the museum. I passed by a garden with various statues, pretty cool and the museum and right behind that. Went into the museum building and walked in to what I thought was part of the exhibit and it turned out to be the back part of it and I was directed to go to the other end. Yes! I finally found it! They took my ticket and I entered the museum exhibit area. It's a gallery of the history of Mexico from ancient times to almost current day. I love that for most of the articles, there's an English translation below it as well. Definitely recommend checking out this museum. Don't get lost!
