I fail to see the difference between DCCU and a big bank like Bank of America. The "help" line is automated and the employees act like big bank workers, faceless and impersonal. While shopping for a mortgage, several realtors told me "dont go to DCCU." I've had troubles using their credit cards, and nobody cares. The phone support isnt local, but an anonymous overseas call center. I've supported credit unions for many years in many different communities, but not anymore. If it's raining no worries, this smaller location offers to ATM machine lane's right outside their doors.

I am going to have to change banks because it seems that when it comes to bills being paid quickly, either by check or electronically through the bank, they are very, very, slow. Sometimes it seems as though the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. This month because my rent payment kept not showing up on the statement on line from them, I actually paid it three times! That's ridiculous. So, I will be leaving and moving to another bank ..... they need to be able to move things along a bit faster to keep up with the times. BB
