When she answered I told her she likely wasn't the person I needed, but I had a question about safety deposit boxes...whether the bank had them. The woman who answered the phone then hung up on me. Really made me mad because I had spent quite a bit of time going through the extensive phone tree. I called at around 12:40om on 6/10/2026. If records for incoming calls to the bank exist, this branch should see who answered the phone and reprimand this person.

A few months ago I tried to deposit cash into my checking at Chase. The outside ATM would not…read moreperform the transaction. I figured it was broken or something so I tried the other ATM machine. Same result, the ATM would not take my deposit. ???? The bank was closed. Next day I went into the bank to deposit the cash. The teller took her time and then asked me to wait a minute and walked away to get a manager. Apparently Chase had closed both of my checking accounts and would not give me a reason. I couldn't believe it. Both checking accounts were Direct Deposit for a Pension and Social Security. It was the third week of the month and now I had to figure out how to pay rent, car, utilities, food etc.. I complained to Chase and they shrugged their shoulders and looked at me with an unemotional face. To this day I have no idea why Chase closed my accounts. And it was tough trying to figure and straighten everything out. Luckily, I had understanding landlords, was ahead on car payments but really, it was a mess. The people at Social Security were reassuring and eventually I got all my checks from them. I'm at a Credit Union which is a little more "restrictive" but it's worth it, for sure. JP Morgan Chase ought to be ashamed ASHAMED of doing this to an honest client. I was a truck driver for 55 years. I worked 60 - 80 hour weeks working a 2nd part time job too. I'm not a good banker or accountant or whatever. Did I do too many Zelle payments,? Did I come to close to $0 in my account too many times....? But not overdrawn....? Did I do too many transfers??? I just don't know and it makes my mind think over & over. It hurts because I never cheated Chase bank, so why?? Why?? And then tonight I read about JP Morgan Chase bank & its client whose last name is Epstein. And this client- Epstein did like billions of dollars with Chase. BILLIONS !!! The news said that he could walk in & pick up $50,000,000 (MILLION) & walk out. Wonder what Mr Epstein did with all those Millions of dollars. I wonder what he would buy .....GET IT !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sick, sick at Chase and their abuse of power.. Squashing the hard working, fingers to the bone, honest family person and GLORIFYING and bowing down to a person who worked with the devil, as far as I'm concerned. So adios Chase. I'm grateful that I know how very bad you really are. Thank you for opening up my eyes so I could see how hypocritical and lousy you are as far as a financial institutions.

This has been the most devastating and heartless banking experience of my life…read more After 13 years of faithfully paying on my car loan, my family experienced unexpected financial hardship. I made the difficult decision to sell our home specifically so I could pay off the remaining balance in full. The day before I was scheduled to pay the car off completely, the bank repossessed my vehicle. The repossession agents arrived in the middle of the night, shining flashlights into our windows and frightening my family. It was an incredibly upsetting and invasive experience, especially with young children in the house. The very next day, I did everything in my power to resolve the situation. I paid the full remaining balance of $7,500. I even went to the Sheriff's Department to try to expedite the release of my vehicle. Despite paying in full, the bank refused to release my car that Friday afternoon at 2 PM -- leaving my family without transportation for the weekend, including access to emergency care for my children if needed. What has hurt the most is the complete lack of empathy or flexibility. After more than a decade of payments and a sincere effort to resolve the situation immediately and in full, I was met with indifference. I understand policies exist, but compassion should too. If you are considering this bank for an auto loan, please think carefully. When you need understanding the most, this institution does not provide it.
