OMG! I could cry.... Brazilian BBQ in Melbourne :)
"Why is there no Brazilian BBQ in Melbourne... ok, yeh there is... but nothing of good standard. I would almost move back to Sydney just for some Churrasco action" - Sunil (about every 2nd week)
FRIDAY NIGHT: I nearly cried, Wifey and I are sitting on the couch wondering what to order. We defaulted to our new pizza place which is pretty good. We place our order and get told 45 minutes till it arrives, Wifey looks at me and says "45 minutes?".... I agree.... Poor form!
B'Churrasco, Melbourne's newest Brazilian Restaurant decided to advertise on Facebook - it catches my eye and in the matter of miliseconds I am calling my pizza place to cancel my order.... i WAS TOO LATE... THE PIZZA WAS IN THE OVEN...
There is always tomorrow night right?
SATURDAY NIGHT:
WIFEY "What do you wanna do tonight?"
ME "Dunno, do you wanna check out the Churrasco place?"
WIFEY "Sure"
ME *jumping up and down on the inside"
In the car and off to B'Churrasco we go.... Not the easiest of places to park, but we have arrived none the less and parked 100 metres down the road luckily. Would recommend parking at Melbourne Central and strolling down...
Oddly they don't do sittings, rather come when you want and they will have food cooking and at your table within minutes. Story goes: The restaurant is 3 months old, not surprisingly the original 2 month head chef decided "Churrasco" means South American and Mexican... So the restaurant labelled "B'Churrasco" decides to serve nachos, burritos, argentinian style meats etc. etc. The head waitress is basically asking herself "What the hell is going on here....", speaks to the owner, who also agrees.
3 THINGS HAPPEN:
*CHEF FIRED...
*NEW CHEF HIRED who is dedicated to Brazilian BBQ.
*SUNIL'S PRAYERS answered
We loved it, from beautifully seasoned meats to amazing sides. We asked for a small plate of sauces and they were absolute perfect with the meats.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Asa de Frango (Chicken Wings)
Sobre Coxa (Garlic Chicken Thighs)
Paleta de Porco (Pork Neck)
Costela de Carneiro (Lamb Ribs)

Top it all of, Brazilian Hospitality which is absolutely fantastic... Every single staff member was extremely friendly and ready to help!
