The shop is extremely clean. It's not a mess like some of the other shops in town, where they have holes in furniture and magazines and papers everywhere. Also, you don't have to worry about the language of the barbers and clients around children. I love that you can book an appointment online. After talking with her, she explained the different treatments she offers, I went ahead and booked an appointment for microplaning with her before hanging up. I love the name, a play on "steel" scissors (hair cuts) and steam (facial services). My facial was very relaxing. It was nice to chat with Aubrey as she worked. She does the microplaning first - the skin is dry, so the razor gets more of the dead skin as opposed to wetting the skin. My appointment lasted an hour and a half. I felt I definitely got my money's worth ($70).

I checked in using their in-store systems and the wait time was exactly as it reflected which was really pretty fast. The waiting area was clean and fairly comfortable and was nice to have some sports to watch while waiting. First let me say, I have super thick hair but I get a typical men's haircut. Lexi cut my hair and it turned out exactly as I had asked. She also was very friendly and we talked enough to keep it comfortable but not so much that it was uncomfortable.
