The two gentlemen at the counter very loudly said "I hate when randos come in and especially kids" and looks directly at him. Only person in the store is my kid. My kid is 17 and wanted to purchase some comics. Truly a poor way to treat someone who frequents other comic stores. Just won't be going to this one. I advise not to go and spend your money in a place where they don't want random people walking in.

On one aisle, there were so many items shoved onto the shelves that you couldn't even tell what they were, and it would have been hopeless to try and sort through them to find one that you liked. In another area of the store, there were just ripped boxes placed on top of a shelf, and again, you couldn't even tell what the merchandise was, and it looked very disorganized. In the rug and carpet section, it was perhaps the most disorganized that I've ever seen a store be, and there was even a carpet sticking out into the aisle, making it impossible to pass through. I know that you don't really go to Ollie's for an organized and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience, but this one trip was a little too excessive. Luckily, this was the first time that this has happened to me at this Ollie's, so I'm hoping that it was just a one-time thing, and I'll still be back in the future.

Now…read moreit's the Shoppes at Woodhill, and it has a whole new vibe including a relatively new Barnes and Noble. And that turns out to be a bookstore with a lot of good things about it. First, it's big, spacious, clean, lots of seating spaces. Second, it's got a lot of books in a lot of genres. And third, and least important to us, it's got a lot of other stuff that isn't books -- things like gifts, etc. -- that add up to a store welcoming to visitors with all sorts of interests. Our primary interest is books, and we found many to like here. Unlike some BN stores, they carry a lot of classics in different publishing formats. There are large sections of popular fiction and nonfiction, and very appealing and diverse cookbook and mystery sections. We really enjoyed our visit here, and we appreciated the friendliness of the staff. We didn't need any help in our searches, but they are quick and efficient in the checkout. All in all, a very good experience, and we can recommend this store without hesitation.

They sell guitars, vinyl records, graphic tee shirts, stuffed animals, assorted Legos, and my favorite, the mystery boxes! What I particularly enjoyed about 2nd & Charles was that they had all of the new titles and bestsellers, as well as a large collection of eclectic and vintage books that you could check out and peruse. They also offered you the opportunity to sell and trade books that you've finished, and had a section of books that were "lightly used" and highly recommended from previous readers. In addition, although I don't play video games myself, they had a nice collection of video games that were brought in from previous users, as well as a humorous assortment of t-shirts and office supplies that are sure to break the monotony of a regular office space. To conclude, 2nd & Charles was such a fun and unique store, which offered a dynamic combination of new and used books, music supplies, video games, and a range of other interesting miscellaneous items.
