I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff at DG. I saw a comment below about the employees walking around without shoes and that being unprofessional, and I think that needs more explaining. They ask the kids to take off their shoes as well, it's to keep the therapy rooms and equipment clean and in good condition for all their patients. Monica who calls me to schedule or reschedule appointments is great and very understanding of the fact that we have a super packed schedule with my son due to his needs. She is not pushy and always tries to accommodate us. Karley, my son's OT therapist, is the nicest/sweetest person. She is super patient with him, and in the year that she's been with him he's made a number of wonderful improvements. Diana and Floribel have worked with my son for PT, and although it was a rough start and only a few months in he has made great strides as well. I will continue to bring my son to DG as long as we see him making positive changes in his development and as long as my interaction with the staff continues to be a positive one.

The amount of spontaneous cancellations due to miscommunication on their end was ridiculous. The days I would change location of sessions they would even call to verify the location and the therapist would never be informed. The amount of paperwork where signatures went "missing" and made me sign 8 months worth of paperwork was ridiculous. Save yourself the headaches and go to a vendor that actually care about your children because this place does NOT!

It saddens me deeply to write this review, but as a mother to a child with speech delays, I do need…read moreto share this with other parents. I am certain I am not the only one experiencing this situation. Channel to Words has provided speech therapist for my son for over a year and in this time frame they have gone through some unfortunate changes. I have nothing but appreciation and admiration for the therapists who unfortunately have quit because the director is self absorbed and incredibly unprofessional, I realized this as different therapists started to quit and new therapists had to take the load with little to no training. The ones affected are our kids. My son has been switched between therapists because no one wants to work at this company I don't blame them. For the last 3 months we were working once a week with one therapist -Liz, who is awesome and once with a different therapists (a very new therapist) I saw my son was not benefiting from the therapy provided by their newest therapists, I tried for months even brought my own toys and pretty much did the therapy myself, when I finally decided to ask for help, I asked if I could be switch to a different therapist, their response was, that all they could do is cut my son's therapy to once a week or go back to Kaiser and ask to work with them directly. Their response completely surprised me, I was kind, I was patient and I simply ask for help and instead of finding different ways to accommodate, they just cut my son's therapy. I then asked to speak to the director I explained unfortunately it wasn't a good fit but I was happy with the other therapist as we were doing great progress, she took this personal and said my son would better benefit somewhere else and that she only had two minutes to speak so for me to say what I had to say fast. I told her it wasn't personal and I was okay with being places in the waiting list so that eventually my son was seeing Liz twice a week and she insisted my son would benefit elsewhere, when I took him for therapy today the director brings me to her office and insists i have my son go somewhere else... I. Could go in detail about the whole conversation long story short is she is incredible self serving, she said she knew for over a year my son was not benefiting from the therapy there and when I asked her why didn't she said that before? Why say this now just because I asked to be switch therapists, she immediately got it and said " I am not comfortable with this conversation" so I had to get up and leave immediately, this is a person who should not be working with children, and who doesn't deserve to have worked with such great therapists, that to leave because she is not someone you can reason with. My one star goes to the director Keisha Martinez, you do not deserve the privilege to work with kids nor with the wonderful therapists you pushed to go elsewhere with better management and where they truly care about their work

My son just graduated out of speech and we are over the moon…read more As I'm writing this, I'm reflecting on the mind blowing progress my son has made in just 3 years with the incredible help of Mrs. Teresa. When we first started here, my son was speech delayed and no one understood the few words he did say. Mrs. Teresa was able to target his problem areas and gave my son the tools he needed to communicate clearly and effectively. Mrs. Teresa is kind, gentle, patient, stern when needed, and truly invested in my son's growth and progress. They worked hard together during sessions, and she always rewarded my son with play time at the end which he appreciated. She always pushed and challenged him -- every session the improvement was undeniable. My son is a better speaker, a more confident communicator, and is able to focus and apply himself so much more now. I have a daughter at a different clinic who has now seen several different therapists, and I truly don't think with them all combined they could do what Mrs. Teresa does. She is an expert in the field and my son and I were truly blessed to work with her! Shout out to Miss Rosa who runs a tight ship! She truly keeps everything running smoothly, handles everything from scheduling to billing to whatever else falls on her lap, and she always does it with a welcoming and warm smile. She's the first and last face we see -- the face of the company. It's bitter sweet to say goodbye. Thank you sooooo much to Mrs. Teresa & Miss Rosa for being a part of our lives for the past 3 years.

Winter can be a bit reserved at first but Brittany helped her feel comfortable extremely quickly and built a great relationship with her. Winter was excited to see and engage with Britany, which was very helpful in getting her through the intensive program. We started myo because of Winter's severe teeth grinding, and within 5 days of starting the mouth exercises, Winter stopped grinding! We couldn't believe it but she truly stopped within that first week. We continued the program as we wanted to ensure the grinding didn't start back up and also wanted Winter to have the ideal oral resting posture in the long term. Towards the end of the program, Winter became a silent sleeper - mouth completely closed and quiet as a mouse, couldn't hear her breathe at all. She wakes up well rested and ready to go from having great sleep. Brittany was so great with Winter, firm enough to get Winter through the exercises properly but also warm and friendly so that Winter looked forward to meeting with her. Her professionalism and productivity impressed us and we couldn't recommend her more!

His occupational therapists Kiani, and Maddy have done an amazing job. Thomas can now brush his teeth, shower, and put on his own clothes. Her encouragement of the use of the AAC device has made a huge difference for Thomas in how he communicates his needs. Kiani, Maddy and Samantha are incredibly patient, kind, and make every session feel like fun. They also support us as parents. After every session, they take the time to debrief and give us practical, real-world strategies to carry over at home. My wife and I are thankful to have infinity kids and cannot recommend this place enough.
