We have had a positive experience with the therapy team and are grateful for the support our son has received through speech, OT, and PT services. One thing we really appreciate is that therapy is child-led and centered around each child's needs and interests. I used to go here for speech therapy (many years back, so really old review) and vented about a physically abusive and mentally abusive situation regarding my parents. they then told my parents and took their side and it resulted in even worse abusive behaviors. First off I thank Ms, Maddy so much. I started taking my son to OT after having second baby. I felt like we weren't giving him enough attention what he needed and wanted. Of course he had other problems like tantrums and screaming and throwing and lack of timing and not sharing all these problems being terrible two.. but seriously, he just turned 3 and let me tell you, Ms Maddy changed my son to a brighter kid and he is just a whole new happy boy! All the therapists here are very welcoming and nice. All very bright personality. I think that also made my son bright too. Made him so much comfortable to gain back his confidence. Can't describe in words how much we needed this. My child is very sensitive and also outgoing and loves people. Wants to feel loved and want to be known. She made my child feel so loved. We are gonna miss her so much!!! Ms Maddy told me he was ready to graduate but honestly, I wasn't really ready to completely cut off our session. So we slowly did. And it was our final day and he graduated. Her loving care and teaching was definitely needed for my child. I'll forever be thankful and definitely highly recommend this place for everyone! Infinity kids are amazing! I have two sons both with ASD. My oldest has been with them since before they changed owners. The previous owners sound smart we're good no problems but the new owners Infinity Kids are amazing they added OT services and now my sons can get all their services in one place. The therapists are amazing and so kind with my boys. My boys literally jump out of the car and can't wait to go to sessions. I wrote this review to assist mothers who are diligently searching for the ideal speech therapy center for their children. My son receives therapy from Mrs. Julie, who is bilingual in English and Korean, and she consistently provides detailed feedback. We live in a multicultural area, and I want him to be fluent in multiple languages, particularly Korean, given his heritage. Mrs. Julie supports this by helping him practice his Korean in addition to English. Furthermore, she ensures to provide comprehensive feedback after every session. Without her insights, I would be unsure of my son's progress, so I am immensely thankful for her detailed comments on his development. Mrs. Julie also incorporates play-based therapy, which is ideal for my three-year-old son. He wouldn't be able to sit through a conventional 50-minute session, so Mrs. Julie wisely includes time in the gym area. This approach helps him enjoy and look forward to the rest of the session. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend Mrs. Julie to any mother looking to enhance their child's language skills. By the way, if you find that Mrs. Julie is unavailable due to her popularity, there's no need to worry. I have also had experiences with several other speech therapists at the same center (Thanh-Ai, Kacie, Kristy, and Mahnoor) and they are all excellent. Julie is an amazing Korean speaking speech therapist and I highly recommend her if your kid is having speech delay!

My 5yr old son has been coming here for the past year. He sees Ms. Maddy weekly for fine and gross motor delays. Maddy is so great with him in her ability to both be silly and built rapport but also to be firm and push him out of his comfort zone to try hard things. He has come such a long way, so much so that his school teacher was surprised to find out that he ever struggled with fine motor delays. We have also noticed he is more confident and willing to try and learn new skills now. The clinic is far for us, a 30-50min drive one way depending on traffic but absolutely worth it for how much my son likes working with Maddy and the growth we've seen. read more

Nothing, but great things to say about Infinity kids. The receptionist makes it easy to go through your insurance (some doctor's offices are a billing nightmare) and everyone is really responsive via phone call or email. The staff is extremely kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We did physical therapy with Ms.Clarissa (she's amazing!) and my son always looked forward to seeing her. My son started speech a little over 6 months ago. I can't say enough great things about the staff at Infinity Kids. My son literally will hop with joy now when we park in their lot. He has so much fun with all the teachers. Each teacher has their own style but one things that is very evident is each teachers care and concern. Ms. Julie has been with our son for a few months now and he just loves her, as a mom it's such a great feeling knowing your child is in good hands. He doesn't even notice when I leave now. Ms. Kristy is so great with him- after just two or three sessions he feels completely comfortable with her, she's one of the best! Ms. Molly saw our son for a makeup session and after one session he was able to say momma! The improvements we've seen have been REMARKABLE the last 6 months. Surprised by the great reviews here. I was cancelled before I could even start. I had notes, an excellent PPO and the final report that I could get before covid started which wasn't good enough for my son. I also had another evaluation on its way that also wasn't good enough, even when I said I would wait for it before starting therapy. I am not sure why they wouldn't evaluate my son themselves? It was some sort of twilight zone practice. I had a doctor's note, and further notes and recommendations. I was simply switching speech therapists as my current therapist had gone private and quit taking insurance. Instead, in an arrogant and unprofessional manner they cancelled us before we could even start. It was bizarre and I can't say that has happened to me with any other business before in any other capacity, but hey, there is a first time for everything. Ms. Laura and Ms. Linda are our favorite speech pathologists. Both teachers are extremely Patient and take their time getting to know your child as well as your child's home environment. Inquiring about home life to be more informed about how their session will go. Both teachers have a very warm and inviting personality that makes you feel confident when leaving your child for an hour with them. The facility is clean and has a separate waiting area for children about to start class as well as parents. One of my favorite parts of this location is their texting ahead of time. You're able to text when rescheduling and they text you reminder appointments. For busy moms it's the best! My son is learning sign language and my daughter is putting two word sentences together. My son has been working with Thao for almost 3 years now. She is a real professional in that she is very knowledgeable about her field, passionate about what she does and most importantly she loves the children she works with and really cares deeply about how speech impacts their overall development. My son has both individual and social group sessions with her. He has made tremendous progress over the years. Check out the social group if you have a little one struggling with friendship at school. She and her staff will guide the kids in direct lessons and practice through role play. Of course all in the name of fun! The only downfall is that she doesn't bill insurance directly. However, in my search for excellent, high quality service for my son, I have come to realize that many therapists who are dedicated and highly qualified as Thao do not accept insurance. Maybe because they don't need to or maybe because they don't want to deal with bureaucratic agencies. who knows? If you are looking for a speech therapist definitely check it out. We have been taking my Son, who is now 5 1/2 to Sounds Smart Speech Therapy for over two years. Finding a "child" focused Speech Therapy office had proven to be VERY difficult in Orange County because most cater to adult patients. Although most offices I researched advised they had a pediatric program; they failed to impress me with their client ratios (adult vs child), level of experience with children, availability (only certain Therapists worked w/ Children) and office environment. Sounds Smart was recommended to me by two different sources. I first learned about Thao Pham, the Owner, from my Sons Regional Center Service Coordinator. Although they are not allowed to make recommendations, she kindly advised me of how great this office was. Second was a parent of my Sons classmate who was a client of Sounds Smart. He RAVED about their services, Thao (Owner) and her team. But already, I had started my Son at Tustin Speech Therapy, which I was not too thrilled about since they only offered 30 min sessions (last 5 min. was parent consult). But, they accepted insurance and Thao did not have immediate openings. For the record, I also considered Providence in Orange and Speech Pathology Associates in Irvine. Both, I felt were too busy, impersonally overwhelmed and more focused on the bottom line ($$$$) versus the purpose of serving children in need of quality speech therapy. A few months later, Thao called me with an opening! Whoa hoo! After an extensive parent consult and evaluation of my Son, she placed him with Ms. Tami on her Team. The sessions are an hour long and focus on the immediate needs of the child. My Son improved so much that they eventually used his private session to also focus on social scenarios expanding his comprehension of typical situations. I couldn't be more thrilled! We later added Social Group (3-4 children) with Ms. Thao to further engage proper peer interaction/ communication. The office environment is quaint and conducive to serving children of all ages. The toys used for sessions are immaculate, obviously cared for and selected by the Therapist from what I call the "Toy Library" (storage room). The location/ building is very clean, safe and surprisingly easy to get to from the freeway/ side streets. Also, on occasion Ms. Thao coordinates special outings for her clients to attend to further enhance their socialization skills in the real world! What more could you ask for! We are more than thankful to Ms. Thao, Ms. Tami and the Team for their dedication to our Son. I chose Sounds Smart after Kaiser gave me a couple of options, and this location was closest for us. I was pleased that they could accommodate my twin boys with mornings, and at same appt times, which I know can be challenging. My boys started at 18mo old last Sept. and graduated this Sept. They made great strides with Ms. Alli and Ms. Tami. Both therapists are super friendly and skilled working with young children, explaining what they're teaching and doing, and giving suggestions for things to do at home. My son needed speech services at 19 months when we started at Sound Smart. Our speech therapist was Brittney, who was amazing. She was able to address my son's needs quickly and developed a wonderful rapport with him. He looked forward to working with her every week. Our daughter Emma was helped by Sounds Smart for around a year and half ending in September 2017. We do appreciate what they did for her by basically diagnosing her with a submucous cleft palate, working with her on that and it allowed us to be seen CHOC, by an ENT and then by a plastic surgeon to schedule surgery for her this spring. What we don't appreciate is being billed for basically a butt hurt fee because we decided to stop going due to her receiving speech in school. A non show up fee and cancel fee for $65.00? Seemed kinda of trivial considering the amount that we spent on this place in the time she was seen. It was like one last visit that they could collect. The cost is extremely high for us due to private individual PPO insurance and we spent over $10,000 over the period of time Emma was seen. She was seen 3 times a week at a cost of 75.00 per visit so financially it made sense for us to switch to school which was free, and offered extended speech therapy due to her being placed in an IEP. Billing us for this fee just proved that this place is in it for the money and honestly she has made more progress in school during the first three months compared to the last 3 months at Sound smart. Probably won't consider Sound smart if extended speech therapy is needed in the future. Perhaps Sound smart should rethink its billing policy for long term clients. read more

My oldest has been visiting Sounds Smart for many years now and improved so much...at three he never even said the word 'mom" but now is speaking in full sentences much like his peers (now 6).
