I am fairly new to the area, & I stopped a woman in passing one day to ask where she went to have her hair done. She referred me to Be.YOU.tiful Salon. I am in the process of growing my hair out( I cut it into a pixie that I donated a little over a year ago), so I was just in need of a trim. I was booked with Ally, and was able to get in the next day. The consultation went well, I felt that she understood what I wanted, & my trim looked & felt good! With it getting closer to the summer I had been wanting to color my hair lighter. I got on to the salon's IG page to see more of their work; I was pleased! so I re-booked with Ally to receive the balayage service a couple of days later. She explained what exactly it was, & that it would take a couple of sessions to achieve the color blonde I wanted and still keep the integrity of the hair. The first session, she was able to get me decently blonde! I would describe it as a honey blonde. I rebooked with Audri due to Ally's maternity leave, but Ally assured me that Audri is just as good. Audri followed the notes that Ally made when she first did my hair, and after only 2 sessions( Ally, then with Audri), we achieved the bright blonde I wanted! Yippee! Audri asked me what my hair care regimen was when she finished styling my hair. I was using the Tresseme deep conditioning duo. She offered her advise about switching to Redken, which they sold in the store. I ended up buying the duo- and WOW!!! For my hair to be bleached twice within a 6 week period, I was amazed! I am thankful for the ladies honesty, & their knowledge on keep my hair healthy! Recently, I went back in to see about the "wild" colors!! It's Summer right?!?! Anywho, I remember Robyn having the cool colors in her hair, so I requested her. I had to sign a waiver, so I understood the terms & conditions, which I was fine with. The end result was so fun! I had a little, Pink, purple, & green. Most people who probably be in shock, but I loved it( to each their own- I'm a wild flower child)! To be honest, I did not follow the terms to a T- I workout, so I sweat a lot, wearing a headband, sometimes shampooed with warmer water, blah blah blah. WELL, in 2 weeks, it faded to cute pastel colors! I got compliments & stares when I first did it, but as it faded, I still got compliments! The atmosphere there is so cute with bright fun colors, music is cool, & all of the ladies there just make you feel like you are the center of attention! It's like a little community! The atmosphere was awesome, and the stylists were polite and fun; however my hair DID NOT come out the way I wanted. I had previously had my hair done in Lubbock Tx at Lu Vaughn by Mary and it only took one appointment to get my hair the blonde that I wanted. They did amazing! I had the thought that if she could do it then anyone could do it! I was wrong. FYI I am a brunette and realize there are challenges that come with asking for blonde hair, but it had been done before. I went to be.you.tiful on 2 separate occasions. The first time the stylist did a decent job on my hair but it still went from black to copper which wasn't what I wanted but she insisted that another appointment would get me to my desired color. Unfortunately it did not. Almost 400 dollars later and I'm still sad at how my hair turned out! I look like a lion, And I don't feel beautiful. Now I am going to another salon to see if they can get the job done, more money down the drain!!! Now this is just a review from my experience. Yours could be different! Good luck!! :) read more

When you move to another state after being born and raised in CA, and your hairstylists have been your best friends and you trust them, finding a new one is terrifying. Ally Craig at Beyoutiful Salon was and is amazing! So friendly and makes you feel like you have been friends for years. Not only she is the best personality, but she is so good with color!! She is knowledgeable, talks you through what you want and gives you her professional opinion. She did an amazing job on my cut and color! I went from natural to a nice auburn that lasted beautifully, then was able to change back into a beautiful strawberry blonde without any hair damage! The second you open the door your are greeted and asked to have a seat that someone will be right with you. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. These ladies know what they are doing so don t be afraid of asking their opinion on a what you want done with your hair. My fav is Nory. She has been doing my hair for the past two years. My mom arranged for this salon to do her hair and makeup for her 40 year vow renewal, a wedding she has always wanted. Everything had been confirmed and my mom continuously reached out to make payment and ensure everything was set for her big day. They went silent, maybe double booked? Either way, we all had to do our own hair and makeup causing us to run to stores to get more supplies and making for an extremely stressful time. I can not say enough nice things about this salon. I send everyone I know. Not only do they take their job very serious but they care about each of their clients. My first experience here was when Audri fixed a terrible haircut that I had gotten at another salon. I was blown away and have only had amazing experiences since. Being new to an area is terrifying if you've ever been spoiled by a hairdresser, but Ally and the entire staff at BeYouTiful have made us feel welcome.
