Great service that exceeded my expectations at Beach Dry Cleaners! I swung by one day to have some shirts and a suit dry cleaned so I could take it somewhere and have them do some alterations -- Lyssa was kind enough to let me know that they could directly perform the alterations there and save me some time! I'm glad I went that route, because the team at Beach Dry Cleaners were able to do additional alterations that the other place wouldn't have been able to do, and my suit pants fit even better as a result. Lyssa was able to get me my clothes right before I needed them for a wedding (which was appreciated especially as they were facing massive power outages in this area for a few of those days), and it all worked out well! I definitely appreciated all the insights about the options as a dry cleaning newbie. I'll definitely be back to Beach Dry Cleaners! read more

Words cannot express the upset here! This place ruined my denim from Saks Fifth. Told me to get out. Hung up in my face. Then called the cops. Instead of offering a solution after ruining my jeans. I should've listened to the reviews. $600 later... the owner had nerve to say "you're probably not even from around here. The employees said "ignore her.." after ruining $300 denim. The only things I really get dry cleaned are my nicer suits and some designer pieces. I've had bad dry cleaning experiences before where my clothes have been damaged, but I'm glad to say that's not the case with Beach Dry Cleaners! They got some stains out of a white Burberry jacket that others could not, and they did it quickly and so friendly too! Will definitely be back and recommend them if you need a place you can trust with delicate pieces. read more

I took my Dad's WWII jacket in to be cleaned. They talked about a basic or an advanced cleaning. I told them I didn't want the patches damaged so don't do anything that would wreck the patches. All I wanted was the jacket cleaned because it was in a sealed bag in my parents basement for several decades. When I went to pick it up the lady remembered me and that I had brought in a WWII jacket. She brought up the jacket and told me the price. She didn't offer to show me the jacket which seemed odd to me so I lifted the plastic off and the leather patches were destroyed and whatever they did cause the patches to shrivel up and cause a large hole in each arm. The owner said yes the cleaning can do that. I told her I didn't want the patches destroyed. She said well that can happen with the basic cleaning. THAT WAS NEVER EXPLAINED OR I WOULDN'T OF HAD THE JACKET CLEANED. She offered no apology. So my Dad's WWII jacket is now destroyed. I will never go back there. I actually think she hoped I wouldn't look at it until I got home. Had she offered an apology and told me what happened it would have been better but no apology was ever given. I'm sure they do a fine job with regular cleaning items but I won't go back. Very disappointing. read more

Absolute worst experience ever. I don't ever leave reviews but after this experience I would never recommend this place to anyone. After dropping off our KING size down comforter for dry cleaning we received it back and it was SHRUNK. Not a little shrunk but feet shorter in length and width. Upon returning they informed me they spoke to the cleaner and he stated that they do a lot of comforters and it couldn't have happened because it's never happened before, as if things never happen out of our control and mistakes don't occur. Never once did they attempt to make it right, outside of not charging me for the service (thanks) or attempt to look into it further. I was not looking for them to buy us a new one as this one is 2 years old but rather have empathy and compassion knowing that we now have to go spend money on replacing an expensive comforter because something happened to ours while in their possession, which I can assume was not done purposefully. There are many things this business COULD have done and they chose to do nothing instead. The best businesses know that repeat business is what keeps them going in today's market and unfortunately this business will not be earning my repeat, or anyone else's that I know, business. read more
