Without fail from lunchtime and into the evening there are hoards of tired, hungry and thirsty individuals packing out the place for cheap pub feeds and drink specials. I have been there with a couple of mates for dinner and my hats off to the chef for being able to maintain a high lever of food. I do only order the steak, salad and chips but it's worth more than what I shell out. This doesn't matter because the remainder of my money is always spent on cheap drink specials they have. In six months I hope this place is still going when the Northern Busway is completed, but I wouldn't be surprised that the owners pack up and leave because of the major change they would have made over the past year.

Well, I can't say that it is one of those trendy inner-city pubs where all the hip and cool people hang out, but it isn't a bad pub, even if it is because of its old style frontage (I like those old style pub frontages).
