The place is dirty. I was shocked by the filth! The prices were in line with big city, super upscale places. Ugh.

I went here for a peppermint pedicure. The staff was very friendly and the nail tech did a great job BUT this place is way overpriced! With tip I paid $70 for a pedicure! The spa part of this pedicure was they used a scrub and lotion that smelled like peppermint. Otherwise it was a regular pedicure. Plus the massage chair was broken and there were no polish dryers. I feel completely ripped off. I was looking for a nice spa experience and a fancy and soothing pedicure and all I got was what I could have gotten for $20 at my local place. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

well things turn from bad to worse I posted last week that I got a gel shellac posted a picture they are my own nails in the shellac actually fell off of one of the nails. now I'm down to my other hand which only has polish on the thumb every other finger had the polish fall off . usually with gel you have to put acetone on and tinfoil on your fingernails and have it scraped off not with this entire nail polish just fell off and I've never had this done before in 30 or so years read more

I came here for a Brazilian last summer and was incredibly disappointed, not with the person taking care of me, she was actually a doll, but with the quality of the wax used here. The service could have been top notch but was ruined with sticky soft wax that left my skin irritated and I could tell my servicer was frustrated by it too. Perhaps they should consider upgrading to a nicer brand of soft wax or consider trying hard wax. I'm coming home again for this summer and have been looking for a spa on cape that uses hard wax, this spot is convenient for me so it's frustrating that no one on cape offers reasonable prices with decent quality wax. read more

I was made aware of their 24 hour cancellation policy exactly 23 hours before my appointment via a voicemail on Father's Day. That morning with all intentions of going, I was handed a somewhat oppressive situation of which I vividly referenced to the representative "Emily." Emily had absolutely no sympathy or remorse charging the full 70 dollars for my appointment. Absolutely disgusting treatment of a human being. I hope that 70 dollars goes towards some sort of reform within this establishment. A true shame. read more

Julia was an absolute angel. Not only was her voice angelic and soothing her touch was sent from god. One of the best massages ive ever had (and I had quite a few from high end places on newbury street in boston). Julia is one I would drive 45mins from boston to hyannis just for a massage. Extremely professional and there to correct any flaws in your body. I was probably the 3rd or 4th appointment and it felt like I was the first and only on her schedule. I was greeted by the most positive and energetic receptionist who was very knowledgeable about each and every service available. If I had more time to spend at the spa I would of got every service I could have had in 24 hours. I will be returning to not only enjoy the water park and hotel but to get pampered like a queen at the beach plum spa. 500 stars from me (if thats even possible) read more

WORTH EVERY PENNY. He is a practiced and skilled masseuse - very professional. Knows all they key spots when working on you. One of the best massages I've had and I've been to more than several international luxury spas. The surroundings could use some updates and pro lighting designer but for the pricing I will absolutely go back and ask for Jason. read more

I'm a hairdresser of 25 years for my wedding I decided to treat myself to hair and makeup ! My hair was nothing like the picture I showed her my makeup was aweful all I wanted was a red lip no face makeup and a dramatic eye she didn't have any of the makeup to be able to achieve what I wanted I can't believe I spent over 200 dollars for this disaster !! My whole manicure was 15 minutes.beside the fact I couldn't find the lady and I was sitting in the room waiting because I was told to head in there. I had an appointment to get my nails done with my husband. We arrived and checked in. They told us who would do our manicures and we went to the relaxation room to wait. After a few minutes they came and got my husband but not me. I waited about 25 min and then went back to the front desk to inquire when I would get my manicure. She told me she would check. I went back to wait and after a time my husband returned and so we went to the desk and then they told us that I was booked at their other location. I know this isn't true as they would have noticed earlier or at least let me know. They offered nothing in the way of apology only offered to have the manager call me. I am still waiting. I called to schedule an appointment at the med spa and was told there was a transition in nurses and once she got the new nurses schedule she would call me back. That was about 2 weeks ago. So I put a request in for a med spa consultation on line and have not heard back. I've been to the spa many times and find this experience very disappointing. I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Not impressed with the service and would not go back. I'm not a very fussy person but the overall spa service was terrible. Overpriced ($90) mani/pedi took about 1 hour 45 minutes to complete. They ran out of shellack ( guess this was the second time that day), my nails were poorly manicured, and my feet still had dirt on them after the spa pedicure and callus removal on the feet. Lastly it took about 15 minutes to check out because none of their registers were working. Overall I was very disappointed in the level of service - not what I would expect going to a spa, paying $100 in service. I would have been better off going to a polished mani/pedi at a nail salon. read more

Have been to beech plumb spa many times in Plymouth. This last visit was in Sandwhich, Mass. unfortunately I would say that my experience was the worst ever. The biggest problem was the massage therapist performed the entire 80 minutes deep tissue with plastic gloves. Never felt good and whenever she was near my head you could hear annoying crackling from the gloves. Lest you think she had a cut on the hand she stated she always wears gloves. Will never return if she's performing the massage. Terrible! read more

What a special place! The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. They are so friendly and make you feel very comfortable! I had a wax done by Cynara this morning and she was excellent! Best wax I think I've ever had and she was very enjoyable to visit with and very precessional! I will be back to see her for sure! I will be a regular and if you are looking for a nice spa, a place to get a way for a day and treat yourself to whatever it is your body is needing, this is the place for you. I called and reserve for cranberry manicure service at 12/23/2019 10am. Their employee asked my card information at the very end of the phone call. I missed my appointment and they offered 3:00pm which I couldn't make. I said sorry I couldn't make it. At the time I almost left, the assistant manager told me "I have to charge you anyways for your pedicure service. We have 24 hours cancelation policy." That is the first time I have ever heard of that policy and it was not on their website and I wasn't completely unware... I ask for a full refund. The assistant manager refused and said I have to send this email to my manager and let you know what the manager says... Since this spa located inside of the resort we stayed, I reported to the resort. The resort first said the spa is on its own not under my control and then said you missed your appointment based on the policy you have to pay no matter what. so they charged me $75 for nothing, based on a mistery policy ... Not to say my cranberry manicure service I first reserved is only should be only $35. read more

At the spa at the Dan'l Webster Inn, I had gel polish removal, shellac mani & pedi with the Technician Elizabeth. She was extremely bright, knowledgeable and skilled, just the right kind of conversationalist. It was perfectly relaxing and my nails all look great. I asked her to choose the colors for me and have had loads and loads of compliments. Expensive, but great value for money. read more

We are on vacation and wanted to relax. We came to the spa and had great massages, our ladies were amazing. After our massages we booked pedicures which couldn't be done for another hour because their staff is on call. We left and decided that we didn't want to have pedicures because something else came up. We tried calling, but no one answered so we drove back. When we arrived back and said we needed to cancel, the receptionist did not handle the situation professionally. She was mad and slamming things, giving us an attitude and trying to make us feel bad that her tech had to be called in. She also told us that they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. I explained that it is not our fault that they don't have on premises staff and that we didn't even have 24 hours to cancel as we had just booked them. We tried to call, and we had just spent over $200 on massages...her response was that she didn't get a phone call, maybe she was on the phone, and there wasn't a message. I simply explained that that was why we came back. She said fine I won't charge you but kept an attitude and ruined our entire experience. read more

I had a wonderful pedicure here today. So relaxing and enjoyable. I have pretty rough and calloused feet, and the technician did a great job making them feel soft again. Elizabeth (the technician) was awesome. Very personable and skilled. You can even get a glass of wine delivered to your chair if you want! Resort seems to be having major construction going on which has greatly affected the spa services. My advice don't go on a weekday for hair, nail or massage services as I just did. Faulty fire alarm went off we had to be evacuated but later heard this happens all the time. I witnessed a lady getting her hair rinsed out with a bucket of water delivered from the kitchen because the construction crew hit a main water pipe. You couldn't use the bathroom or wash your hands. Spa will charge you full price regardless of all the disruptions. Spa should probably not be open. read more

The spa smelled nice but wasn't very clean. I went for a pedicure with my daughter and it wasn't very good at all. The massage was about 45 seconds per leg and there was nothing great about it. The pedi was $65 and worth $10. My daughters was $45 for the strawberry pedi and that just consisted of a strawberry scrub and she also had a 45 second massage. Thumbs down to this place read more

I had my eye brows waxed there for the first time, and I ALWAYS break out. This time was different. I have had no reaction and it hurt far less than any other place that I've been too. Eva was nice and professional and really helped me achieve the shape I wanted. I'm a victim of my teenage self over plucking them, and she recommended some products that would help fill in the scarce spots. Visited the spa in July with 2 close friends. This spa is very disorganized. After making appointments online I was called and asked to switch the appt. times 2 times (including the night before). Upon arriving, we realize they have booked a friend and me together for a couples massage in the same room. Did they assume we were a couple? I did not book a couples massage. It didn't end up being uncomfortable for us, just awkward! The checkout process took a very long time and an hour after leaving we received 10 phone calls for the spa. Two of us were charged incorrectly. The experience was not relaxing at all and we will definitely head to Mirabeau next time. This spa really tested my patience! read more

I am not a very experienced spa-goer, but I really enjoyed this place. My mother and I went for a girls' day of relaxation and thought the place was beautiful. There is a relaxing sitting room past the reception area where we snacked in our robes and listened to calming music. I am enjoyed the massage and thought that the masseuse was very attentive to my needs and did not make me feel at all uncomfortable. She wasn't chatty, which I appreciated because I wanted to relax. I also had a facial, which was truly wonderful. It seems that the aesthetician based her work specifically on my skin type and on my needs. It felt like a very personalized facial if there is such a thing. The only reason why I won't give this place five stars is because of the nail salon part. My mother and I were scheduled to have pedicures together, but there was only one nail tech mission there that day. There are only two chairs in the small mail area, which is fine but another staff member would've been appreciated as we had to watch each other get pedicures. my favorite part about getting a pedicure is how smooth my feet feel afterwards but this nail tech didn't pay much attention to our skin just on painting your toes which didn't even come out very good. Too bad because everything else about that day was absolutely wonderful; very relaxing and pleasant experience. read more

What a rip off! I would never, ever recommend this venue to anyone for spa services. I went to Beachplum for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Upon arriving, I was underwhelmed with the ambiance, space, and "luxury" amenities that the spa touts on its website and for the price it charges. The nail room only had two manicure tables and two pedicure chairs. It also had a VERY limited selection of polish colors. If I am paying top dollar for a service, I certainly expect a variety of polishes to choose from and a more luxury atmosphere. When it was time to pay, I was literally in shock when the the cashier told me the price. $105?! I have been to a lot of nice resorts and spas and I have NEVER paid this price for this service. What a rip off! I want my money back. read more

The beach plum spa offers many wonderful products and services. Which makes it incredibly unfortunate that when there is a problem or concern by a customer there is minimal effort or interest by management to resolve or participate in oversight. I myself have spent two weeks making calls, leaving messages and being told the spa manager is very busy. By all appearances, this unprofessional lack of follow-up must be the standard practice. I received a gift card for this business for my birthday and was very disappointed, I would not go back to this spa. It took me over 10 minutes to find the spa within the hotel, directions were not well posted. I asked several employees who offered minimal directions "it is at the end of the 200's". Finally, I found it. I was greeted nicely and brought in to the room for my facial. The technician was a bit too chatty and overshared - the facial was run of the mill and not as wonderful as I was expecting. I have had many facials and can honestly say this was the worst. I was also scheduled for a gel manicure which I have had before. Gel manicures are more expensive but usually the extra cost is worth it because they last for two weeks, in fact, I usually have new growth before the polish ever chips. The nail tech, was nice but the experience was eeh. My nails looked ok and some of the cover was thinner on some nails than others (which I didn't notice right away). My nails chipped before the end of the first week - ok, sometimes things happen, but when I called to express my disappointment I was told the manager (Shannon) would call me back, it took her a day to do so. When she called back and I explained why I was calling her response sounded practiced and as if she deals with complaints on a regular basis. She said they don't guarantee their manicures and the website says polish would last UP TO TWO WEEKS. She went on to tell me that when she has it done it only lasts a few days, really? I told her that I was disappointed in her response and would not go back there and that I would write a negative review and not recommend them, after which she said she would ask the technician if she would redo my nails - that was 4 days ago and I haven't heard back, I am not hopeful. I read other reviews before posting this and it seems there is a pattern of poor customer service and not caring about the quality of their services. This spa is in a hotel and it seems that they cater to tourists and aren't concerned with repeat customers. You would think that having a happy customer would be worth the $40.00 cost of a new manicure. read more

What a not so special place! My wife went for a premium honey butter wrap pedicure and while the technician was skilled and did a very good job...imagine being worked on in a store room with another worker slamming cabinets, rustling through inventory, and generally making her presence as intrusive as possible. Oh, and the treatment room is also apparently the employee kitchen as her lunch was loudly mixed and heated in the microwave in the room. There were no other clients in the room and she wished she were anywhere but there as well. She noted that the soothing music was totally droned out by this unnecessary hubbub. Instead of floating on air when she arrived to meet us for dinner she was an aggravated woman with pretty nails and plenty of bad attitude. Management was less than understanding of her experience and offered a small discount on future services.. Like she would ever chose to return to them knowing that her exiting agitated and exasperated was of so little concern. Many other choices are available in the area. Spa pricing should be accompanied by spa ambiance, not what she experienced read more

I had a massage there recently and it was the best massage I have ever had! I HIGHLY recommend Nicole, she helped with many of my back issues that no one has ever been able to do before. I recommend the massage and Nicole, However the spa itself wasn't as great. They have you dress in a locker room then walk across to the other side of the spa in front of other clients, and the main desk and their store. The hotel is under construction so it could be due to that? It was awkward walking by maintenance men, and left me very uncomfortable. The waiting room itself could be better as well, most spa's have a dim lit room with candles and peaceful music, this was bright and sunny but nothing relaxing or peaceful about it. I had a hard time booking online as well. If I were just rating the spa I would only give it a 1 (especially for the higher prices) BUT Nicole was great so have to give an extra for her work! read more
