Found this place yesterday on a quick google search. Booked an appointment. At no time during this phone call did anyone advise that I need to wear a mask for the entire massage. One hour prior to my massage the next day I got a text saying I have to wear a mask for the entire massage. Sounds relaxing. So I called to cancel. I was told that I should have looked on their social media. I don't have social media. I was told there's signs all over at the premises about masks. Well I've never been there I called and booked it. So I'm also told that since I'm cancelling same day they are going to charge me the full amount. Not cool. read more

Went in for a massage after working 3 consecutive 12-hr shifts at a hospital. I was exhausted and my body really needed that extra pinch of relaxation to kick off a few days off in my schedule. Sadly I cannot remember the name of my massage therapist, but I bought a 90-minute massage, firm pressure & full body, and cannot believe how perfect it was. The service was exceptional, and she was receptive to my needs. Did not do any talking after we got started. Definitely on the pricier end, but this seems consistent with the Cape Cod market. Only other note is that the facility smelled a little weird when you enter & are waiting in reception / nail care area. I have a facial at Solstice about once a month. Every time I go, Ivy changes up the facial, based on what's going on with my skin at the time. Today my skin was super stressed, a hot mess. She did extra extractions and also used some sort of charcoal mask on the area. My eyes were puffy, so she used some under eye pads. She saw that I was having issues with eczema in some areas and oil in others and she went out of her way to address both. Her fingers massage and tap like magic. Very disappointing. A friend and I went there with GC - The woman who booked the appointments was lovely- unfortunately, it went downhill from there. I don't get pedicures often so it was a real treat to go. Their prices are much higher than others around so we were really expecting to have a great experience. If its clean, comfortable and friendly- I am happy. Unprofessional staff- Very uncomfortable chairs ( our necks were sore from the 90* angled straight up chairs ) and the results were so/so... at best You can find much better salons in many places for much lower prices. This company is beyond "stuck-up". They do not allow children to even enter their building which is appauling. I was given a gift card for a large amount of money that I was told Now that I am not allowed to use on ANY services ONLY product due to "canceling an appointment" that I did not even make nor get any confirmation. I find this discusting an very poor services when your running a high end salon. I know several master hairstylists that think this is unethical. As well as myself my family member also goes there an is a VERY good client an NOW is no longer going to continue services as this is poor customer service. read more

I have been to Solstice Spa four times in the last year for a massage with Tabatha, I have to say it is wonderful!! Tabatha gives a Lava Shell massage that is so nice and relaxing. Tabatha speaks Portuguese and English. The new place is much nicer than the old place. They also send you email specials and coupons. There is a full salon with manicures and pedicures, also a full staff of hairstylists. It is right on Main Street in Hyannis. If your on vacation and want a relaxing massage this is the place to go. read more

I've been going here for a year and a half, and I have always been treated very well by Kitsy for facials and waxing. However, I tried to go for hair and nails, but my hair took a long time, not a big deal, right?? I have a lot of hair! Donna was great. I had to pick someone up, so I told them I didn't think I had time for the pedicure. My head was in the sink full of foils and the receptionist comes over and says, we have a 24hr cancelation policy so we are going to have to charge you for the pedicure. I spend a lot of money on my hair and so on, you really want to lose me by charging $50 for a pedicure that I ran out of time for? I'm sorry that I didn't know it was going to be over 3 hours for this. They charged me. I'm a year round cape resident and this has really upset me. It's not about the money, but it was rude and short sighted. read more

Our services were AMAZING (& we're pretty fussy!)!! Best pedis ever with Jen & Iryna. Amazing, most relaxing facial with Kitsy. She is a real pro...used the perfect products, etc..., for my skin issues. I came out looking 10 years younger!! My daughter received a top notch massage from Kimber. I also indulged in a fantastic steam bath. Everyone was so sweet & kind. We've decided to make Solstice a yearly event during our future visits to the Cape!! I have been going to Solstice Day Spa since it opened at it's previous location. Kim is my massage therapist and she is Amazing. I have some serious arthritis issues and Kim knows how to deal with them all. My brother has seen Kim and Tabitha and loved them both. You never have to fear a massage that will hurt or a therapist that won't listen, this is the pace to go. You are always heard here and the atmosphere is so relaxing .I always leave there feeling incredible. I have also had mani's and pedi's there. I leave with great looking feet and the selection of polish colors are great and they always have new ones. Next trip I plan on trying out the steam shower. read more

Lovely receptionist, but very poor customer service from the manager and owner. Went there for a hair coloring, provided photo of light ash blond that I needed in order to marry with my gray hair. Instead came out with beige in front of my head and on top, and warm brown in the back of my head. Wish I could post the photos as it is actually comical. They charged me $200 for that mess, including $50 for a "gloss" treatment that I never asked for, which was apparently applied when they washed my hair. To add insult to injury they told me I would have to pay full price for another stylist to correct the the mistakes of the first. What, another $200?? Very unprofessional. Won't ever be going back and will certainly never recommend this overpriced and arrogant salon. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This review is for nails only. I went here recently for my wedding after being referred by my make up artist. Overall a good experience. Greeting and salon atmosphere and the women that did our nails were very pleasant, conversational and fun. I think if we hadn't wanted to talk and just relax they would have respected that as well. Overall nails were good my only criticism is lack of colors and polish selection. They don't carry Essie or any natural options. One of my girls had recently finished chemo and was hoping for Zoya or a more natural option in polish... They only carry OPI. Other than that great experience and we will be back to try their other services. read more
