My husband and I knew we want to combine southern food with chinese food so that we could have a little bit of both of our upbringings featured. We told Harvest Moon our vision, and wow, did they deliver. Our menu consisted of two different types of salad, duck and pork belly buns, shrimp lo mein, mapo tofu, a carving station with beef tenderloin and chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mixed vegetables. We also had a couple guests with allergies/restrictions, and Harvest Moon was super accommodating (one of our friends who is a vegetarian couldn't stop raving about the mushroom ravioli). It was all so good. We received so many compliments from our guests. The staff were also so amazing. Everyone was so professional, helpful, well trained, and friendly. It was awesome. Asked for more cocktail sauce to go with my $28 shrimp cocktail. Was told no. I even asked the blonde at the desk if she was tired because she was so unwelcoming. I tried to eat the shrimp in my car. It tasted off. Really salty. I tried to give my dogs some of the shrimp in the car and piece after piece they spit it out. I tried to return it and was told I ate 6 pieces and there would be no refund with a total scowl on her face. I've spent thousands of $ at this place with no regard to that. Despite the poor quality of the food lately, being treated that way over the holiday was awful. I'll never go back and suggest you don't either.
