Yet, it does not happen very often. My wife and I just booked a House in Destin for mid-October. I wanted a golf cart. By the way, I used to live in Destin so I knew, the Golf Cart was very important. I called two places. The second was Beach Better Golf Cart Rentals. I got a message however it said I could text them on that number. I did and got a reply back in less then two minutes. The prices were more then reasonable and I could take care of the entire transaction online. Now for the rest of the story!!!! The home we rented is one of my personal friends. I asked him which Golf Cart rental place he uses. He said, "None". The home comes with a six passenger golf cart. So I did not have to rent a golf cart after all. BUT, when I do and that will happen, this is the ONLY place I will consider. The world needs to remember that we clients just want professionalism and prompt communication. We will pay more to get it. Customer service is the key.

Beware On our trip…read moreto Destin, we stepped off of the airplane and met a couple of friends and decided we needed a larger golf cart than the one that came with our condo. In our haste, I went to this company's website filled out all of the information and paid over $1000 to rent a golf cart for a week. They immediately called me collected the address and told me that they would deliver the golf cart that night. A couple hours later they called back realizing that I was staying in Resort called sandestin that they could not deliver the golf cart because Sandestin is a closed resort that does not allow deliveries. It does say "no sandestin" on their website. This was an oversight on my part and I admit it 100%. They then told me that they do not do refunds. The owner reached out through email and told me that people book months in advance and hurt their business because they want a refund once they arrive and realize that the cart cannot be delivered to sandestin. This is understandable and I do not blame them. However, my rental was denied the same day and I did not hold up their cart for a week. The owner simply told me that they're going to keep my $1000 and that's the end of it because the website says "no sandestin". I even offered to pay for the cart for a full day because of the confusion and they refused me because they just want the $1000 for no services rendered. Minor mistake and oversight on my part, absolutely! Ethical of this business owner to take advantage of people from out of town and keep all of the money from a same-day rental when a cart was never issued? You decide. I have copies of the emails. I'm happy to post them, but this company will do whatever they can to keep your money I would not trust them. This was a very simple decision to make for this business owner but that chose to keep money for nothing rendered on a same day mistake. Good luck , there's a lot other rental spots. Choose wisely.

The bikes come in a guy version and girl version. I think the difference is in how high the metal bar is set. The staff said something about how the lowered barred bikes are for the girls so it's easier for skirts and dresses to go over. They also have scooters and small buggies (?) for rent as well. There is of course a gift shop here too if you want to do some browsing. Before I forget, you have the option to add a basket to the bikes. It's helpful if you want to dump a jacket, water bottle, or anything loose in it. It's a metal basket coated in plastic so it's not something you can dump loose change in. Make sure you do not lose the bike lock or its key. There will be a $10 charge if either is lost. The keys do come loose if you have it stuck in the lock. The bike ride will make the key come loose and fall out.

Such a rude manager James. Cart was dropped off after noon and was not full of fuel which I had…read morepaid the extra fee to cover. I paid for 3 days. Website says it's 24 hour periods. Website also says they had a rental 6 miles from our VRBO . I expected to have the rental until noon on the final day due to the late delivery and the wait for them to return with fuel. They showed up at 10:38 and The driver wad very professional but caught in the middle with his manager James. I called and explained my expectation but James was rude and said they were an hour away and did nothing but kept saying "read the contract" and he would charge an additional day. He also cited their website. I have reviewed both the contract and the website so their information is still incorrect. My bill was over $700 for less than 72 hours and the cart was noncompliance for the back up tone and poor brakes. There were local rental locations offering weekly rentals for $750 and they included sound systems. My advice is to find a business with integrity and representatives that fairly deal with customers.

We found that a lot of rental services and tourist catered businesses in the 30A area were that... tourist focused... and therefore took advantage of people with prices, lack of service etc. These folks were the total opposite. Answered the phone, coordinated efficiently through text message and made easy the drop off and end of rental process. The Gear fit our needs ( paddle board), and we got appropriately sized life jackets. Could not have had a more efficient service if I had dreamed it up myself. A+ all the way!
