I acknowledge it was very busy with the drive-thru lined up around the parking lot and many people inside. Stood at the cash waiting to have order taken for over 15 minutes. Staff would glance at us but would not acknowledge us - not a smile, hello, 'just a moment', or anything. We left and went downtown to a local coffee shop and had great coffee. This cute coffee shop on the main strip is warm and cozy, with friendly staff and bright, sunny front windows. I had the drip coffee (excellent) and watched as the barista prepared instagram-worthy espresso-based beverages for the customers before me. I took home a bag of their in-shop roasted coffee ("Cardinal", a medium-dark-roast Mexican bean) and was delighted with the flavour, clarity, and sweetness.
