I purchased a brand-new 2026 Tara from Beachside Golf Cars. The soundbar didn't work from day one, and I also discovered that the headlights and taillights didn't work. A technician also found a suspension issue and said it appeared the cart had not been properly checked before delivery. The cart was eventually picked up for repair. I then spent weeks trying to get updates, with multiple calls to the service department going unanswered. When I finally reached them, I was told they still didn't know what was wrong and had no timeline for when it would be fixed. I understand that problems can happen with a new vehicle, but the lack of communication and customer service was extremely frustrating. After finally getting the cart back, it was delivered with multiple issues still unresolved. After repeated attempts to get the service department to respond, I eventually gave up and took the cart to another dealer. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this dealership has been one of the worst purchasing experiences I've ever had. I paid in full for a brand-new golf cart on April 25, 2026, and was told delivery would take 5-7 business days. After that deadline passed, I received multiple explanations and changing stories about why my cart had not arrived. I later learned that the original cart intended for me had been sold to someone else. Over the following weeks, I was repeatedly given new delivery dates and told that a replacement was coming directly from the manufacturer. Instead, the cart that was eventually delivered had apparently been sitting for some time after another sale fell through. When the cart arrived, it was missing items, dirty, and had numerous defects. The delivery driver initially stated there were no keys, although they were later found in the glove compartment. There was no charger, no license plate bracket installation, and no explanation of the vehicle's features. The cart also had scratches, cracks, paint defects, rust, a warped roof, and a malfunctioning display screen. Despite documenting these issues immediately, service was delayed and many of the problems remained unresolved. After paying for a new golf cart and waiting over a month, I was told that my only option was to accept repairs rather than receive the new, fully functioning vehicle I purchased or a refund. The lack of communication, changing explanations, poor quality control, and unwillingness to stand behind the product have been extremely disappointing. I'm honestly amazed by all the glowing reviews because my experience was the complete opposite. Everything went smoothly--until after I paid in full. Once the payment cleared, the chaos started. The company is completely disorganized. We paid for everything, including registration, and that's exactly when things fell apart. I was told to accept delivery even though parts were missing--now they're saying I shouldn't have accepted it. The contradictions are unbelievable. For a $16K golf cart, the level of service is embarrassing. If you do decide to buy from them, don't pay for their registration service and don't accept delivery unless every single part and accessory is present--because once it's gone, you'll never see it. After finding what I wanted, I was told that they did not have that model or color in inventory. I told the salesperson James that I would like to buy one from him to give him the business but their much larger competitor Matt's Carts in Stuart, FL had many colors of them in stock. James called his GM and I was told there was a Red one at the factory and it would be mine and delivered in two weeks. I waited the two weeks and some (3 weeks total), and emailed Mac/ James, with 4 days passing I was finally received an emailed back that they will check into it. I never got an email back, so the following week, I emailed again (Week 4), to see if we have an estimated delivery date. Only be be told they don't know what arrives on the truck (that's a great inventory system and communication between a dealer and the manufacturer). Finally, 6 weeks later I get a call from the Sales Manager Shawn who was a very nice, notifying me that the cart will not be coming (he said he had to make 4 calls that, on that day). They asked me to come in to see a used cart they had in and that it would be significantly cheaper than a new one. Well, I wasted my time again, drove to their showroom in Boynton to drive the cart. I was told that since it did not have a warrantee that it would be significantly lower in price, about $3k off the list. Well low and behold they come back with a $1600 discount on a cart that is out of warrantee. Total waste of time, and not what was represented to me on the phone or in person. Now, all I want is my deposit back and to go on my way to a different dealership... Well, called today to get my deposit back. I was originally charged $500 deposit plus a $17.50 credit card charge for a total of $517.50. I call back today to get my deposit back to be told they only will refund $500 and not the full deposit and credit card fee. Essentially, I would need to eat the $17.50 even after all of their inconvenience and hassle. So, for $17.50 they have earned themselves a 1 Star review, hope it was worth it. Zach Ellis runs a great business. All in all, to me it seems like the ownership of this company has some deceptive sales practices. They advertise inventory on Facebook and on the website that they do not have in stock. Then once they have you in the door they will promise anything to get you to make a transaction. Once you leave a deposit the service stops and there is a lack of communication. I knew that as I charged them and tested them. Said cart would need to be picked up and taken to the shop. Called at least 5 times and never returned call. Then I receive a call from what I think was an imposter - inside job - that they would come and pick up the cart but I would have to pay first. I was suspicious so did not go through with it. Called the establishment and explained everything. It was fraud so how did they get all of my information and know what I needed. They never responded. If I could give ZERO STARS I would! This place has the absolute worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with in my life! They are all over you with calls and offers when you're in the market to buy a cart - BUT BEWARE because after they sell you one they don't have any motivation to service the cart under warranty. I bought my cart about a year ago and only use it when my children and grandchildren visit on holidays. Of course it stopped working the second day they got here this December! It took Beachside 5 whole days to come and get it for service and they have had it for a week now and I have to call them every single day to ask what progress they've made even though I have asked them and made them promise to call me with updates and they have yet to call me even once!!! I told them 2 weeks ago when I called for service that I thought it was a bad circuit board and no one would pay any attention to me. Now 2 weeks in and Christmas tomorrow, they tell me (of course I had to call them) that it needs a new circuit board and they can't get the part for another week because of they closed today for the holiday tomorrow! They have 1 service guy and 1 driver to service all 3 of their locations. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU NOT BUY A CART FROM BEACHSIDE because they will treat you like yesterday's trash after they sell you the cart. I recently purchased a golf cart from Beachside Golf Cars in Boynton Beach. Our sales person David Tapia went above and beyond to answer questions and make sure the purchase process was seamless. The same day the golf cart was delivered I backed into something and cracked the rear foot rest. The next day I rushed over to the dealership and the sales manager stopped what he was doing to bring me over to the service department that was able to find a replacement part and make the repair. There are many options in this area to purchase a golf cart but I'm glad I went with Beachside. They care about the product they're selling and the people they are selling to. Beachside Golfcarts has multiple locations along the East Coast of Florida. that should stand out to you when considering the purchase of a golf cart. A buddy of mine purchased his cart about a year ago and has had nothing but great things to say about them. I purchased my cart from Beachside in November 2024 (Wellington location) and I've had amazing service. If anything happens to our carts, it's like having a concierge service they come to you. The carts are amazing. I've had no problems and Beachside Golfcarts is always just a phone call away. Be Wary of Purchasing from this Company I purchased an Evolution D3 in October of 2023. I paid a fee for it to be delivered to my NC home as a present to my wife who has cancer. The cart arrived with damage to the mirrors and surround portion of the screen. Even more disturbing was the absence of a power plug for the refrigerator located under the back seat. I notified my salesperson and the General Manager who promised to have things corrected. The person assigned to take care of me did not return phone calls or emails. When he finally called me and promised to take care of everything, all I received was a 12v power plug for the refrigerator without the associated cord or directions for connecting to power/battery. I would not recommend purchasing from this vendor. They do not meet their obligations. I sent many emails to Evolution Corporate with no follow up or action. I'm contacting the Florida Attorneys General Office and Office for Consumer Affairs to see if additional pressure can be applied to receive a partial refund or actual repairs as promised. I just received my new Maverick Evolution cart. The purchase went very smoothly, Evan in Boynton Beach was easy to deal with and helpful. They had very little inventory as he explained they were selling many carts recently. We picked a Red one and had it delivered today 4/18/25. Delivery went very smoothly and the driver explained everything to me. Cart was detailed before delivery. I had an excellent delivery situation. Cart is really nice and seems to run well. TLDR; Sales - Easy, communication could be better, Delivery/pick-up - Easy, not great communication or coordination, Service - No communication Overall - Disorganized I purchased an Evolution brand cart, had it converted to an LSV. Kevin the sales guy is nice and knowledgeable. The buying process was easy enough although the communication was a little bit lacking. The issues I have are after the sale. The cart was supposed to be inspected before delivery but there were a lot of items that didn't work properly or were damaged, as well as the cart arriving dirty on 30-Jun-2023. The delivery driver noted the deficiencies and said that they will come back out to fix everything on Friday, 7-Jul-2023. I used the cart for about a week between 30-Jun & 7-Jul, and I discovered a few more issues. The repair guy came out on 7-Jul-2023 just as he promised, and was going to fix the cart and the speed limiter. When he hooked his computer up to the cart, it turns out that there were a bunch of error codes; motor overheat, controller voltage, & batter/charger over-volt/under-volt. The repair guy said they may have to take the battery apart and test it since it is throwing a code, and they may need to rebuild it. So he loaded the cart on the trailer and took it back to the shop. The cart has been at the shop since 7-Jul-2023, it is now 13-Jul, and the only communication I received is when I call them to check the status. The communication effort on the part of the shop is severely lacking, especially on a new cart. I was also promised on several occasions that someone would be in touch about the cart, but no one reached out. I was finally told that the cosmetic issues were fixed because I called them again, however, I have no idea if the cause of the motor overheat, controller, charger, and other drivetrain issues were addressed at all. I also have no idea if the bad parts were "rebuilt" or if they installed new parts as no one could provide any insight when asked. I guess I'll just have to roll the dice and see what happens. I bought a Maverick on May 7th. It's been almost 2 months and I've been waiting to get my rear tail light fix that was broken when delivered. I also asked for the speed increase which I was charged a $100 for at time of ordering. When my cart was delivered I asked if it was done. I Was told yes. It was not. 2 month of calling both the service manager JP with no return calls or an idea of when to expect it to be fixed. I called my sales guy Eric a few times and all I get is, I'm not in the service dept. Call JP. There are plenty of other golf cart place here in town with a new one coming. Bill was very knowledgeable and offer a test ride in the back. We were very impressed. We ordered a 2022 Forester 4 Plus. The cart came in quickly (a few days) Bill even calling me while he was on vacation in another state for the holidays. They made all the changes and adjustments we wanted at no charge and delivered it to Wellington on 12-30-22 for free as well. We have 70 miles on the cart and couldn't be more happier. THERE BETTER BE MY GOLF CART IN MY DRIVEWAY BY FRIDAY IN NY or i'm going to the DMV to turn them in for false advertising. Bought an Evolution Classic Pro from them 9 months ago. Problems with the battery. They picked up the cart at my home and took it to their repair facility in West Palm Beach. That was nearly a month ago, and we still don't have the golf cart back. When you call Evolution corporate offices in Orlando, you get a voicemail, and no one returns your calls. I called the Beachside office and asked to speak to the General Manager, Ben. He never called me back. All in all, VERY BAD customer service. The exceptions are Allison, Ben's admin assistant, and Shaun, who sold us the cart. They have tried hard to get action for us, but the company is so screwed up, they have been unsuccessful. read more

My repeat business will definitely go here. I went to the ft lauderdale location. Trustworthy place. I bought a used cart AS IS which another person sold to the dealer. It stopped working within 15 min of driving it off the lot. The owner, at his expense, towed the cart to my house and then towed back to the shop and gave me a full refund after realizing the issue wasn't minor. Technically, they didn't have to do any of this since this was an AS IS sale but they have integrity and did the right thing. They had already given us a fair price on the cart as well before the issue surfaced. Kris was super helpful and the communication was excellent to resolve the situation.
