    Nice people but it took 3 HOURS to get two new tires when I had an appointment.. why make an appointment in the first place?

The folks here were great and caught on ahead that I had mistakenly ordered tires that didn't meet the weight requirements for my cars and were able to assist me in getting the correct updated wheel and tire combo. Off to a great start already. THEN I showed up on install day, Ben (who I had spoken with on the phone) met me out in the parking lot, recognized my car, and came out to chat about the wheels and tire package without me having to explain everything over again. If you ask me, that's peak customer service, Ben knew me as a specific customer not just a random client. The prices were very competitive, the service was EXCELLENT, the turnaround time was quick, and I would 1000% come back, they have definitely earned my trust and my future business.

I brought my wife's van to Discount Tire to have a screw removed and the tire patched. I have a paid service agreement that clearly states they will patch a repairable tire -- and if it can't be patched, they will replace it. I had the vehicle inspected by their tech, Adrian, who carefully measured the tread depth and resorted all of the necessary information. I couldn't get it repaired on the spot, so he made an appointment for me the following morning. He also pointed out that my lights looked worn, and recommended replacement. That sounded a little strange, but this store had always been honest and treated me well, so I went along with it for only $40. Better to be safe, than sorry. The moment my van was on the lift and the tires were off, I was told the tire "Could not be patched" -- and even worse, that they would not honor the replacement under the agreement. Only after I pushed back and challenged them did they suddenly change their story and agree it could be patched after all. Then it gets worse. When I picked up my van, it had been deliberately parked with the screw facing downward so I couldn't see the repaired area. That's not an accident. That's intentional positioning. I inspected it later and realized the screw had NOT been removed. They did manage to put the shiny new lug nuts on it and charge me $40. The way this was handled felt deceptive from start to finish. Trying to deny a written agreement once the vehicle is already disassembled puts customers in a vulnerable position. Most people would feel pressured to just pay for a new tire. If you have a service agreement here, don't assume they'll honor it. Document everything. Inspect your vehicle before leaving. This experience felt manipulative and unacceptable.

I was the second person inside. They were very friendly and I was greeted and treated exceptionally well. The manager came out, looked at my tire and within minutes my car was inside being serviced. I was told that it would probably take about an hour and I walked over to McDonald's and had some breakfast and by the time I got back my car was ready. Since I had the hazard insurance there was no charge for my tire repair. I have been a customer of Tire Kingdom for many years and this is my favorite location. I can honestly say they have always treated me very well and fair so I have no complaints ever.

    I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at what I believed was Tire Kingdom, now…read moreapparently operating as Mavis Tires & Brakes without clearly communicating that change to customers. I scheduled an appointment in advance for a brake inspection and was told it would take about 1.5 hours. I arrived at 10:15 AM, yet my vehicle was not taken back until around 11:30 AM. What should have been a routine visit turned into an all-day ordeal. I remained there until after 6 PM, only to be told my vehicle would not be ready and I would need to return the next day. This caused me to miss prior commitments, and at no point did anyone proactively communicate delays or provide updates. While waiting all day, there were no vending machines available, so if you don't bring your own food, you will go without. I had my lunch in my vehicle and asked if I could use a microwave. I was initially told "no," by Sue only to later be told I could use one after speaking with the supervisor. That inconsistency and lack of basic consideration were frustrating after sitting there for hours. At one point, I was even called on my phone by the supervisor David while I was physically sitting inside the waiting area. I had to tell him I was already there and then walk up to the counter. This showed a clear lack of awareness and organization regarding customers in their own lobby. I also observed inconsistent customer service. Other customers were given options such as leaving their vehicle and receiving a call when ready, while I was left waiting all day with little direction. As a long-time customer of over 15 years, I did not feel valued or respected. During the visit, I was quoted over $2,000 for multiple repairs beyond brakes, many of which were not clearly explained. I also experienced repeated upselling attempts, including items unrelated to my concern. Being charged around $165 per hour while also experiencing excessive delays is unacceptable. The following day, I had to call myself for an update on my vehicle, no one contacted me. However, I later received a call asking me about a google review a family member made. Verma the manager then instructed me to have them to remove the Google review, which was very concerning given the lack of communication about my actual service. I felt harassed at that point. This type of behavior is really concerning after seeing my ex coworker Kerri Foley had the same experience after going there for a simple oil change. Mentally this experience caused me insomnia on top of all the other feelings I experienced. Although I was offered a free oil change when I picked up my vehicle, I have no interest in returning. I would rather pay elsewhere than revisit a location where I felt my time was wasted and I was not treated with proper customer care. Customer service, communication, and transparency were all lacking. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

The same manager, Josh answered the phone. First time I called, I was put on hold for 13 minutes and forgotten. I called back and spoke to Josh and asked for Victoria. He said that there was no one that worked there with that name. I explained that this was the person that responded to my review, and he said he was sorry, but asked what could he do for me. I explained again, and he said that he could not help me. I asked for his manager or owner and he responded that he was the manager and again there was nothing he could do. So basically, given the opportunity to make things right and keep a customer, he chose to lose me and let this review to remain as is. My advice, find another store to have your vehicles serviced at.

And instead of going through the dealership service center where…read moreI would be charged an arm and a leg, I decided to go to Meineke that wasn't far from my house and much easier an experience with waiting options on where to go while my car was being serviced. Scheduling drop off was easy through their website. Had my battery installed within 90 minutes and easy customer service with any issues that could arise. The waiting room was comfortable and cozy with nice black chairs and a very clean bathroom. The mechanics were great and the manager was very friendly and helpful with concerns and questions that I had.
