I never passed through the OB ED department and I never sat on a gurney in the OB area. I was never seen by their OB ED doctor. When I called to complain I was told that when the triage nurse checked my dilation upon arrival and found that I was fully dilated that that brief assessment by a nurse qualified as ED service! As soon as I arrived I was rushed into a delivery room. The bed was unfolded and the baby was on his way. The on-call OB doc rushed in the room right before the baby was delivered. I gave birth vaginally and without complications in less than 15 minutes after arrival the hospital. Their creative billing team finds ways to sneak in extra charges like $1,306.14 dollars for sitting in the recovery room--the same room delivered in--until the closet sized room near the newborn nursery became available. Choose a different hospital & different health care group. Health First is really MONEY FIRST!

The housekeeper had some family issues of her own and told my mom she could not help her. So, I used Yelp to help me find an agency in Melbourne, Florida who would immediately assist me in getting groceries for my mother who was to ill to leave the house. I called Home Health Care as soon as I got off the phone with my mother and they agreed to go to the market for my mother to get her groceries and deliver them. They did that within an hour of my call and request. For anyone with elderly parents who live alone, it's a very worrisome dynamic and especially if you do not live nearby. I am very grateful for Home Health Care's prompt Assistance today and highly recommend them.

I had this agency come to my condo for almost a month before I went to First Choice Therapy on Harbor City BLVD. Long story short, this agency didn't do what they were supposed to do and I ended up with a frozen shoulder. I went through hell with First Choice as they tried to break up all the scar tissue, etc. to get my shoulder moving again. It was the worst pain ever. First Choice asked me, the first session, what this agency do to move my shoulder. My answer was nothing. They were absolutely horrified and I then knew I was in trouble. For 4 months, Mom., Wed. and Fri I endured the most awful pain I've ever experienced! First Choice did a wonderful job getting me straightened out, and I am now in a pretty good place. But I am SO incredibly upset with Home health of Florida that I could spit nails. Because of them, I suffered terribly. I could never recommend a shoulder replacement patient to use them. They may be good for some things, but in my case they made my life miserable!

I informed the therapist what my issues are with my posture and curvature of my spine. My sessions with my original therapist went well. On my session with the therapist/owner I let him know I was experiencing pain in my left knee . The exercises he had me do increased pain to where I had to use a cane to walk. I haven't used a cane since my right knee replacement several years ago. On my next visit with my original therapist I told her about the pain and she worked on that. After a few more sessions with her working on my leg discomfort I was feeling better. I informed another therapist on my last visit I still had a little discomfort in my leg. The therapist had me doing exercises that stressed my leg again. Today was supposed to be my last visit so I called before to make sure I had my original therapist. Today another therapist I've never had was going to see me today. I feel worse now than before. I didn't have any symptoms in my legs and now I do.

PT Professional provides outstanding care with one-on-one attention. Prior to going to PT Professionals I had been going to a different physical therapy group on Merritt Island. PT Professionals is so superior to this other group. I have been treated by several of the therapist and all have been very professional and skilled. Normally Chardae is my therapist. She is very caring and knowledgeable therapist and I always feel much better after a session. She is extremely knowledgeable of the various physical therapy techniques. I most recently have been treated after surgery on my shoulder. PT treatment started the day after the surgery. She has me perform various exercises to strengthen the shoulder. She manipulates the shoulder to allow for more range of motion. My favorite acitivity is when she massages the shoulder. It feels so amazing. She knows just what to do to make the shoulder feel better. She is a very skilled and professional therapist. While having treatment I have watched while therapist provide other patients therapy. They customize the treatment around the patients problems and abilities. Over time I have seen these other patients continually improve. They're closed on weekends, holidays & often the day after the holiday, when working people want to do aqua exercises! If you work, it's nearly impossible to use this pool. You wasted $60/month. They don't care. They got their money. They often are not open during their "posted hours." There are too many reasons/excuses they open late in the morning, or do not open for the day. It's unfair to Wellness people. We rely on the hours posted, when buying a membership & your receptionist tells us the pool hours. Why lie? You are only open when it's convenient for you! In nice weather I showed up in the afternoon & they were closed, after driving 35 minutes to get there. No one answered the phone, as usual, to ask if they're open. Then she rudely blamed me for "not calling." I did call; no one answered, as usual. The part time receptionist thought it was funny that I drove 35 minutes & was annoyed it was closed. She's rude. Zero compassion. She's in the wrong industry! I lost respect for them & quit my membership after that; not worth all their 'exceptions' to being open & wasted trips there. It's clearly a cost cutting measure, yet they spring it on Wellness members often at the last minute. What a headache. It was deceptive claims of when they're open by the receptionist & the signs. Pretending to also be a Wellness Pool that's open all day is a joke. One day it's closed cuz of the water; then it's the "feel" of the air temp.; then it's day after a holiday or a wkend. They figure as long as they have an excuse, it's fine. Highly unprofessional & deceptive. In Nov. your pool was closed more days than you were open, for $60/ month & no hot showers? The PTA stares at his phone most of the time, as he sits by the pool allegedly watching. I'd hate to see what would happen in an emergency. The tiny changing room is up a flight of stairs, indoors. Very awkward, cramped layout. No one said you're a gym. Just be open the hours you promised at payment. You are not. This is fraud. Tons of excuses. Obviously having financial issues running this pool. They say you, "can call & ask if the pool is open." Good luck trying to get them to answer the phone. You're wasting your time. If you can't afford to pay your PTA or Rob, an allegedly uncertified trainer, to be at the pool, then cut the hours & be up front about it, in advance. They prefer that Wellness members sign up for a trainer, the owner's brother Rob, but you pay out of pocket. They don't work with attorneys from PI car accident cases. No reason to continue here; too many limitations. Don't tell members AFTER they paid & then say: No Refunds. It's a type of fraud to Wellness members. It's not a members job to have to call daily, to ask if & when you'll be open. Don't promise Open Hours you have no intention of keeping. Various excuses got old. It's disrespectful. Members TIME is valuable; not only your time. The pool hours are very inconsistent & unreliable for Wellness members. Don't waste your money. 'Pro Fitness' in Viera-Melbourne is part of the hospital complex. It's a much more realistic option for people who work. It's open long hours & open on weekends! Two pools; a therapy pool & aqua classes pool, & a lap pool, hot showers (which that other therapy does not have), a sauna, a hot tub, a gym, a cafe, a lounge with TV. Plus, a cafeteria with inexpensive, healthy food in the main building. They answer their phone & are factual about their printed hours. It's $28/month if you are a AAA member! Join online on the app & pay online. Well worth it! Great instructors & personal trainers. Classes are included.

Dr Terry Shepherd did the most extensive evaluation of me, that I've ever had. Her team got me back on track and pain free in 3 months for the shoulder injuries. Now I'm seeing Roberta (Ro) in Speech Therapy, from the severe concussion I had from the accident, I was having really bad memory loss, and she has helped me tremendously in less than 2 months. She has taught me so many things to do, to stay focused, and little tools, to stay focused on and these test for the memory. There's so many things that she has taught me, I can't even begin to thank her enough. I know you can click on 5 stars to rate them, but I would give Dr Shepherd and her team 10 stars. I also want to mention Joan at the front desk, she is so kind, and if you have to change some appointment dates around, which I had to do on several appointments, she always smiles, and says, no problem. After several visits, Dr. Katakuri thought I would be a good candidate for an epidural. None of my other doctors suggested this but I decided to try it and I am glad I did. My pain went from excruciating to tolerable and it lasts for about 3 months. Chronic pain was depressing me so this has helped me in more ways than one! Also, the staff is really nice and professional and they have a new state-of-the-art facility located off I-95 TIP: Even if you have seen other doctors and didn't get results - this doctor might offer new ways of finding you relief.

I only expected this to be a standard first visit, but I found some immediate relief for most of my pain almost immediately (even if only for a couple of hours). We repeated the procedure on my second visit and same results so it was on to the next step. On the day of my procedure, the insurer had failed to authorize the rfa ablation and I had to cancel the procedure. After a tug of war with insurer, and trying to get them to approve the procedure in time for a 12/23/24 date, it was still too late and the office was scheduled to be closed on 12/24/2024. After the end of business on 12/23/2024, the office called me that they had approval for the procedure and instead of waiting to the third date that was set for on 01/09/2025, the doctor opened his office on the 24th to do my procedure. What else is there to say, from closed to open for me? I am so grateful. This should be 7 stars!!!
