Arrive at the shop and walk in, there is a whiteboard when you enter for you to sign in on, and if you have a preferred barber/stylist you can put there name next to yours. Previously I had only been to places that work on the honor system, but this is a nice change. Watching the 4 barbers working as I waited for my turn they all looked professional in appearance and their conversations with their customers about how they want their haircut. My turn came and my barber was Devin. Asked me questions about what I wanted, and followed through. Cleaned up my goatee and eyebrows and I was just extremely y happy and will be back. Cash only with an ATM on site.

One barber was sitting with his head buried in his phone not doing anything as I waited until about 1:15 when someone else was ready for me. They took about 18 minutes for what was supposed to be a 30 minute haircut, because they had someone else waiting they needed to get to. Haircut was too quick, they did not ask me if it was good enough and sent me on my way. Service was bad and haircut was rushed. Not going back.

The shop had a unique look--more like a biker bar than a typical barbershop, which caught my attention. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn once I was in the chair. The barber, Seth Braden, rushed through my cut in about 15 minutes, which was already a red flag, and the result was the worst haircut I've ever had. The fade was uneven, the tape line was crooked, and he even used scissors--something no barber has needed for my hair before. He also mentioned he didn't have time for my beard, which was honestly a relief given the poor job on the cut. For a $35 haircut, plus a tip, I expected quality, but this experience was disappointing. Based on my visit, I can't recommend this barber.

I'm sorry to have to write this updated review. In my…read moreopinion, the cleanliness of this salon needs some desperate attention. I have yet to see a comb come out of sanitized solution. I worry for the day that somebody gets head lice because the combs are never been cleaned. The floors are also filthy, there is , dust and cobwebs in a lot of the areas. I'm not sure who's responsible for daily cleaning of the salon, but trash cans overflowing with trash is an unsightly thing to see. It has taken me a while to find an alternative hair salon, but I have, and have no intentions of going back to fantastic Sams in the near future.
