My college roommate and I are here in Panama City Beach with our families, and we wanted we wanted to go to Shell Island. We wanted to discover at our own pace, so we decided to rent a pontoon boat. We looked through the various websites of boat rentals. The website stood out, and the boat select was vast, and they were able to accommodate us since it was a last minute decision. After choosing the boat and package we wanted, it was so easy booking through the site. It was self explanatory and easy to book our excursion. Upon checking out, we were able to sign all the disclosures online, which is a great convenience since we did not have a printer at our hotel. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Justin. He was very friendly and helpful. He made all off us feel welcomed and had the boat prepared for us. He have us a thorough orientation of the boat. The pontoon was in pristine shape and spotless. Although I have some experience in boating, Justin made sure we knew how to operate everything, and showed us where the life preservers were. He also directed on where to go, and gave us valuable pointers on where to go to find the best shells. He even gave us an east to read map, and suggestions where to place the boat to avoid getting beached. We rented a double canopy pontoon boat from Beachy Boat rentals yesterday and had a wonderful time visiting Shell Island. The boat was in immaculate condition and drove great. I didn't go out looking for a boat with double canopies my only requirement was that it would fit 12 people and had Bluetooth which it did, but boy was I ever glad it had double canopies to help with the sun. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and informative when we arrived making sure we had everything we needed and directions how to get where we wanted to go. The gentlemen there when we returned was just as friendly wanting to make sure we had a good time and thanked us for coming. My only criticism is when I tried to call to ask a question before booking online no one answered and the voicemail said to leave a message or text them which I did, but no one text me back. However that would not stop me from renting from Beachy Boat rentals again. I guarantee you the next time we vacation here I will look them up again and probably tryout the jet skis too! read more

So me and my husband and 3 kids came down to fort Walton to spend the week and we decided to take the hour and half drive to beachy boat rentals to go to shell island on Tuesday we booked and all day boat for ourselfs and we had sooooo much fun that we rented it again for today we had so much fun the lady who helped us who works there is amazing she is super sweet and kind! We got to do a whole lot and see even more! We seen dolphins sting rays a huge mantaray I even found a 10lb conch shell which I threw back because it was the home of a creature not sure what they are called found hundreds of sea shells and sand dollars! We will definitely be renting from them next time we visit Florida no matter how far the drive is to beachy boat rentals they are super friendly and give the best advice for the best price you will find anywhere else! I highly recommend them if you want to sail off to shell island for the day on your own we loved every bit of it and the second time out was even better then the first! read more

We visited PCB for the first time ever in 2016 and We were looking online for a pontoon rental and Beachy Boat Rentals is the one that we chose. The owners, Derrick and Alicia Dorsey are wonderful people. Their pontoons are beautiful, well-maintained and come furnished with fuel. Prices were very reasonable for 1/2 or full day of fun and excitement. They helped us with the best directions on how to get to Shell Island. Letting us know where/what to watch out for, shallow waters, etc. but most of all the joy of watching for the Dolphins! We rented from them again in 2017 as a repeat customer, they remember us! Sadly, in 2018, Hurricane Michael changed our plans for us, we had to evacuate before getting to meet up with the Dorseys for the 3rd year in a row. We had two families on vacation at PCB. Together we had 6 kids ranging in age from 13-4 years old so we thought a boat ride would be a great adventure for them. Many of the boat cruises were going to be over $100 per family and were two hours long. We wouldn't be able to bring food or drink. So with a little research, we found Beachy Boat Rentals. Our four hour boat ride was perfect for us. It was less than $100 per family. We packed snacks, drinks, towels and plenty of sunscreen and set off on our excursion. We did bring our own speaker for music. The one on the boat worked but it wasn't loud. We explored the bay and saw dolphins. We also beached and explored a small island. The kids were able to get up and move without bothering anyone. Three of our kids fell asleep. This was by far the favorite activity of all of the kids. Next time I would take boogie boards and a few shovels and buckets. read more

Thank you again for another perfect day in panama. This is our second time renting a boat from here this year and I'll never use anyone else. They're the cheapest in the area to start. I've dealt with a woman on both occasions who couldn't be sweeter, like she was made to work in customer service. Even gave us a discount for being repeat customers. The guys that help you shore your boat at the end of the day are laid back, patient, and equally nice. The parking lot is roughly 75 feet from the bow of the boat if that's an issue but they'll even let you back your car up to the bow if you're not an idiot and you have four wheel drive. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I know each individual experience is different but they are 2 for 2 with me and I promise not only will I use them again but I'll never use anyone else in Panama City beach. read more

The owners were very nice on the phone when making the reservation and in person when we arrived. They had plenty of parking about 20 yards from the water. They conducted a thorough safety briefing and walk through regarding the boat. The pontoon boat was very nice and very clean. They had portable stairs there to allow us access into the boat. The owners pushed us off the shore and welcomed us when we returned. Tom disposed of our garbage for us and even offered to help us carry our things to our vehicles. Had a great time renting your boat. Everything was better than expected. We went with my 91 year old mother & her 96 year old husband. The staff was very helpful & informative with all out needs. From life jacket for the frandson to getting everyone on the boat to instructions on the boat. Very clear & accurate. We went to Shell Island, anchored the boat exactly as instructed, spent hours finding Sand dollars & seeing other wildlife. The trip out and back in we spotted many Dolphins. There location is horrible,long way from where you park,no dock! Get ready to get wet right of the bat! If you can get them to launch a boat.The owner is always in a bad mood( watched him chase pets off with boat hooks!) Most have walked there pets there for many years till he pops up a shack and runs anyone off that wants to go to the public beach there! Threatened me and pet with a gun,Yes a gun! We had an amazing time with our beachy boat rental! We rented a 16 passenger boat. There were 8 of us, but we wanted the extra room. We were all able to really stretch out. I checked a lot of rental prices and this one seemed to be the best. I saw a competitor that I was looking at and their boat was much older than ours and it was going to be way more expensive to rent from there! I am so glad we chose Beachy Boat Rentals. Great company to do business with! We rented a large full canopy boat a week ago, and it was in excellent shape. They were pleasant to work with, made sure we were all set, and it was a great experience. We had another boat reserved for this afternoon but TS Fred is on its way so they proactively called to offer either a refund or convenient reschedule. Location is great as well! Easy to get to Shell Island, and right in the heart of all the activity of St. Andrews. My parents came to visit from Michigan so we decided to do a 2 hour private dolphin tour. Tom was a great captain. He found a rather large pod of about 30 dolphins, maneuvered the boat around the traffic that soon also found the same pod, and always warned us of incoming waves or rough spots during the charter. Definitely worth the extra money for a private charter vs. being on a boat crammed with 80 other people. I would definitely do the same tour again. Always amazing to see wild dolphins in their element jumping and playing in the water. Got some great video too! read more

We did research before renting online and Beachy Boat had great prices and great looking boats! My son and I rented a 9 passenger, 60 hp for a full day and we had a blast! The boat was very clean and well maintained! Their boats stand out on the water compared to the others. The owners are super nice people and very accommodating. Best money spent all year! Just me and my wife, we rented the 10 passenger pontoon with 70 HP motor for 8 hrs, the Tuesday before Memorial Day, 2025. We took our own drinks and snacks. We saw dolphins and sea turtles and lots of fish and even some jellyfish. The weather was perfect! We stopped at a few different beaches and spent a lot of time swimming, snorkeling and just floating. The water was soo clear everywhere we went. We will absolutely rent from them again!!! read more

We had planned a half day excursion for one day, but we had such an awesome experience we went back the next day for the pontoon and the jet ski. We had an absolute blast!!! I'm not totally sure but I think this may be a family owned business and oh my gosh, they were a delight to work with. I was lost on the way there because Apple Maps takes you to the wrong address, but they stayed on the phone with me until I found it and were just lovely and so kind..
