So with that in mind, here goes; The Good: The food options are pretty awesome. If you haven't tried First Watch, Park Lane Tavern or Monsoon - where have you been!? The cinema really isn't the worst, the matinee prices are great and they accept military discount so Tuesdays are a great excuse to catch a movie for 5 bucks. You can walk around and go in and out of the shops as you please; Victoria's Secret, H&M, Francesca's, Bath & Bodyworks, Barnes & Noble and Finish Line (which is grand for fitting you with the correct running shoes for YOU in mind, and offers 20% military discount). The Bad: Shops don't seem to be able to stay open around here. I've seen a few come and go over the years and it sucks. And don't get me started on the additional PTC tax... but that's a story for another day. So overall, not bad Peninsula Town Center, still plenty of work to be done though!

Less than a minute after I walked in another customer came in, was greeted, was given the run down of items on sale, and offered to have a dressing room set up. Strike two. That customer looked uncomfortable with all the fuss and attention and chose to walk the store quietly and subsequently left without purchase. In the next five minutes I was there, every person who came in was greeted or some other contact was made. There is only ONE obvious difference between myself and the others that came thru that door. Piss poor behavior in 2017. I dine and shop in this area frequently and have never had an issue until now. I had several items that I would have purchased but I chose to walk out and spend my money elsewhere. I will however let every professional woman I work with know about this experience.

You have to really look at the item and decide how it will hold up before you buy. The sales associate are sometimes nice, and sometimes have attitudes. They look young so maybe that is why. Granted a few racks were empty, while others slim to none, I still managed to walk out with some great finds. The fitting rooms were open, but I usually opt to try on clothes at home and if they do not work I'll return the next day. But today about noon, the store wasn't busy at all. It's refreshing to shop without bumping into folk whole pushing a cart through the tight aisle. Parking was plentiful. Checkout was a breeze. I checked out all the departments except purses and shoes. And I found something in every department. I love Ross! Something for everyone in here! I highly recommend this location. Have fun! It actually has fancy women's clothing (think older classy lady clothes and dresses for formal dinner and casual formal wear) with leather bags, jewelry, home decor. There is a large children's and toddler section on the entire other side of the store with books, clothing, toys, diaper bags, etc. I spent almost an hour inside and found a beautiful discontinued Kendra Scott necklace I purchased for myself and a few other home decor pieces I'm thinking of adding to my collection. They ladies inside were busy wrapping gifts nearly the entire time I looked around so they didn't pay any attention to me and they weren't as schmooze to me as they were to the older couples inside so it's hard to tell if they just counted me off because I'm in my 30s or not but when I went to pay they made pleasant enough small-talk so as not to keep me from coming back, plus I enjoyed being able to roam around and take everything in on my own without hovering. It's pricey inside - several of the pieces are in the hundreds of dollars. But it's beautiful and I saw so many unique things; it's a great spot for gifting.

I found the prices to be somewhat high in comparison to Marshals and TJMAXX. They have the same setup and a lot of the same merchandise. I would probably come back when looking for something specific because of the amount of merchandise they have.
