The owner, Jackie, demonstrates an unparalleled level of patience, knowledge, and understanding, ensuring that both dogs and their owners feel supported every step of the way. The swimming area is particularly impressive--well-maintained, clean, and designed with dogs' safety and enjoyment in mind. My dog, Nittany, gets so excited when she knows she is heading to K9 Lagoon. She loves jumping into the pool, as well as swimming. Our vet comments on how muscular she is for a golden every time we visit. She tells me the swimming is such a benefit for her now and will help her joints as she ages. Whether it's for therapeutic purposes or simply for fun, Jackie's approach to aquatic activities sets K9 Lagoon apart. Jackie's creativity shines in the training programs as well, which are both effective and engaging. Nittany is an apprehensive and timid dog. She has learned so much through several of the training classes. It's clear that the Jackie genuinely cares about each dog's well-being, tailoring her methods to suit each dog's individual needs. K9 Lagoon is more than just a dog pool; it's a safe haven for dogs to thrive and grow. I'm truly grateful for the positive impact it's had on my dog, Nittany's life!

In that first meeting we discussed several behaviors and strategies to address them. I started working with my dog today and will meet with Tony again in 2 weeks to further hone my skills. So my husband started Googling and found Knucklehead K9. He called & left a msg and Tony called us back within minutes! He gave us all the details of his programs and pricing, and we setup an appt. From the first session Tony set the tone and showed Yolo who was in charge. We were astonished at how quickly he got our dog to listen with just patience, clear direction & treats! My husband and I needed the most training lol! Tony really understands dogs and how they think. He rewards with treats and praise for good behavior and corrects with firm direction for negative behavior. He really taught us how to be our dog's leader. We really liked his training techniques and learned SO much! He is very straight forward and does not sugar coat. It is truly about the owners being consistent and firm. If you're ready for a real dog trainer then Tony is your guy! But YOU better be ready to do the work! We are so much happier with our dog. He's a year old now and we can honestly say he's a GOOD DOG! Sure he's still a pup and has some maturing to do but he has done a 180 since we did the training. We love Tony!

The staff is very helpful and always willing to help you find what you are looking for. I have seen the same employees for several years so it must be a pretty good place to work! I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 chinchillas and buy food, housing, beds, toys, etc from here when I don't have time to buy online. PetSmart almost always has what I am looking for but the prices are a bit higher than what you can pay on Amazon except for food and cat litter. When the brand of dog food I buy goes on sale, which is frequently, I stock up because i can't get it cheaper anywhere else. I have taken my dogs to the grooming salon and I have been pretty happy with the results. I have never had a bad experience but I do notice that different groomers seem to do a better job than others. Either way paying $30 to get my 75 pound lab bathed, brushed, nails trimmed and smelling great is worth it! They do base the price on the breed of the dog and make sure you have a copy of the pet's rabies certificate. Having the rabies vaccines information on file is standard protocol for any groomer. Yes, I would recommend PetSmart for dog and cat owners. I haven't had enough experience to comment on the fish, birds, reptiles or other small animals they sell.

Then the Friday before July 4th, they charged me an extra $6 for a holiday weekend fee. That is not stated when you schedule online or no sign in the store. They said this applies to ALL weekends as well. That Sunday after this visit, my dog stopped eating, was hiding, and scratching under her armpit. I looked under her armpit on Monday. It was oozing a clear smelly liquid, it was red and smelled weird. Tuesday, I took her to the vet. She had a nasty cut under her armpit and on the inside of the ear. They are infected. She has two oral medications and two topical. The vet said it was most likely the groomer but, of course, couldn't guarantee that. The bill was $250. I called the grooming department yesterday. They said to call back today for the store msnager. So I did. She said I could file an incident report through the company but they would have to contact the vet. I told them, never mind, I won't be back.
