I found out because Stihl asked me to bring my saw out to him. I brought a saw out to Dave's Lawnmower in Swansea because the oil pump was slow. He said no problem. Minimum shop charge of $34 to clean it. A week in the turn around. Three weeks later I went to get my saw, and he wanted $170 for a new oil pump, and a fly wheel he said was broken. I told him to take his parts and give me my saw. I am sure he broke the flywheel and he gave me back my saw minus my oil pump and hose. Worthless now. I called Stihl and they told me to bring it to Bruce. They had every square foot of floor space covered with machines to repair. He took my saw, and called me the next day. Ready, and no charge. Really? Does this stuff still happen today? Good karma your way sir.
