Dr. Kimberley encouraged me to take some extra lab tests (blood, saliva) so we could be certain about what may be causing my symptoms. I have gone to other naturopaths who do little more than guess at the cause of symptoms (for example, one naturopath treated me for candida overgrowth, but the blood test I did with Dr. Kimberley shows my candida as healthy). This ensures that I am spending my time and money focused on the right things to get me feeling great! I'm feeling better than I have in years, and this is primarily due to diet. Dr. Kimberley has developed her own meal plan, along with weekly grocery shopping lists, and not only is the food amazing, but it has me feeling amazing too!

I am in my mid twenties and for the last 4 years I have had a lot of fatigue. I had met with my…read morefamily Dr. on a few different occasions to talk with her about it, she helped by changing some prescriptions and trying some supplements. That just didn't seem to help the problem. so I decided to seek out someone who may be able to help me in a natural way, that was when a friend recommended Dr. Gaul. I was told by my friend that it was tough to get into see her, but when I called it was only a week wait. So that seemed like a good start to me! The receptionist sent me a 16 page client information form to fill out. It felt like I was writing a book about my life, everything from dental work to what my fears are! It was definitely the most in depth form I have or probably will ever fill out! I faxed it back to the office so that the Dr. had time to review it before our appointment. Finding the office was a bit difficult, the sign is hard to see. So I ended up parking a couple blocks away and walking to find it. There is a parking lot for the building, which I recommend using. The office is nice and dim, I felt very relaxed sitting in the waiting room. They have a little play area for kids. There is also lots of information around about the therapies they do at the clinic. You can even sign out some of the books they have. It was very quiet when I was there, I'm pretty sure I was the only patient. Dr. Gaul is very friendly, she introduced herself and we went into her office to chat. We talked for about an hour, going over my forms. At the end she seemed pretty confident she knew what the issues where and explained to me what she thought. She took me into another room to do an autonomic response test, which I can't really explain. She was testing the response of my organs, pretty much. After the test she talked with me about the recommended treatment and plan for the next 4 months. I can not say enough about how nice it was to have someone listen to me, I didn't feel like I was crazy for not having a physical illness causing my problems! I felt so comfortable with Dr. Gaul, she was very conversational! As a follow up I returned after my 4 months and my fatigue was still an issue. I had improvement in other areas of my health so I knew something was working. She did another test on me, this time related to emotional storage. She told me that she had never seen so many conflicting issues on all levels as I had. That kinda threw me for a loop! She chatted with me a bit, explaining what that meant and perhaps why I would have that going on. It began to make sense to me. She started me on a homeopathic treatment, layer by layer. She again seemed confident that we would sort things out soon. I have started the treatment and have been on it for 2.5 months now. It was a rough start, I was an emotional wreck for a few weeks, but I can honestly say that I feel better! I do really feel that after 4 years I am on the right track! All thanks to Dr. Gaul! The appointments are quite pricey, almost $300 for the initial visit, so this is an investment in ones health. Its not like you go back every month, so in retrospect it isn't bad. The supplements and homeopathic remedies are another expense, approx $50-75 a month for me, which I know could be worse. I highly recommend that people like me, who are starting to feel lost or like you are stuck, in regards to your health, should give Dr. Gaul a chance to help you. I myself know it was a good decision, maybe it will be for you too!

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease years ago and my villi have not grown back despite a strict Gluten Free diet. Neither one of us had ever seen a Naturopath before, due to the old stigma around naturopathic medicine. After having such bad experiences with Doctors and feeling hopeless, we both decided to give it a shot. After lots of Google research, I came across Dr. Lindsay Irwin at Marda Loop Naturopathic and Wellness Clinic. When I first called to book my husband's appointment, I spoke with Layle. She gave me an excellent first impression of the clinic, and patiently answered my many questions. Whenever I have spoken with Layle to book appointments since, she's been very kind and genuinely cares about how you are doing. Our Doctors really gave Layle the run-around to get copies of our Lab Results, but she was determined to help us. We really wanted to get Dr. Irwin's second opinion and find out what she thought would be the best measures to take to improve our health. We can both honestly say that Dr. Lindsay Irwin has changed our lives for the better! After our first appointments, we were both blown away by her Clinical knowledge. Also, I have never met a better listener in my life. I had gotten so accustomed to dismissive Doctors with the attitude that they know everything. Dr. Lindsay Irwin listens, she believes you, she cares, and she gives you hope. You don't just have to learn to live with your diagnosis, imagine that! There's things that you can actually do to improve your chronic conditions and isn't some hogwash medicine. For treatment that actually works, go see Dr. Irwin, and she'll change your life too!

I only had an initial consultation where I spoke for an hour with the naturopath about my daily life, diet, and such. She performed some "natural' tests on me and then spoke with me afterward on what she found. I had a couple qualms with my appointment. The first was that she asked me what I was concerned about in my diet. I replied with possibly caffeine, gluten, and dairy. When she was done her tests, she recommended that I cut down on my caffeine, gluten, and dairy intake. It seemed like I was just being fed back the info I had told her. Also, this clinic does not do blood work and will send to you another clinic to have an allergy test done. This meant that my benefits would not cover the expenses of this test. There are lots of other naturopathic clinics that will do this test in house, making it more convenient and possibly free, depending on your health care coverage. Overall, it was an okay experience but I would try another clinic next time I want to see an naturopath.

Despite my health dwindling rapidly, my other doctor was not able to help me or recommend treatments to ease my pain and misery and I was extremely distraught until I was able to see Dr. Haggarty. She did a VERY thorough intake with me and we have decided to do some tests so we know what we are dealing with (other naturo didn't even mention any detailed testing)... Dr Haggarty was able to squeeze me in to get an IV that very same day and based on my symptoms she knew my body badly needed help detoxing. Within hours I felt better and I continued to improve in the days following. I followed up with the same kind of IV the next week (as she instructed), and I've seen an even greater improvement in how I feel! I was even able to get out to the mountains one day, exercise and work! What a difference and a relief it is to find a good doctor who is knowledgeable, who LISTENS to her patients and who truly cares. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Haggarty and I have been treated well by the other staff at the clinic also. I am so glad I decided to switch over to the Nardella clinic. I just wish I would have done it sooner, but better late than never!! Signed, a grateful patient...

The receptionist was so rude and talking over me telling me "ok, right, thank you" before I could ask a question to clarify what she was saying and meaning as her accent was obviously hindering our communication. I was trying SO hard to be calm and clear and kind as I hate getting annoyed and being rude. They wanted me to pay $250 a week in advance for my phone consultation/initial appointment with Haggerty and then I had to go hunt down my medical records for the good Dr or pay their office for all the tests they would request because "they are private". DEEP BREATH. Then the Receptionist phoned me back to cancel my appointment because she ran my cc that was supposed to be on file (I have a special one I use for just such occasions), she originally told me that my card would be charged immediately after my phone appointment with the Doctor which is normal but then called me back to cancel my appointment because the card did not go through and tell me I am out of luck. Thanks for NOTHING except for increasing my stress while I am sick and can't afford more stress. Also, taking money before providing your treatment is not normal practice and reeks of being a money grab. I guess I should be thankful this happened because by the sounds of other reviews and experiences, I dodged a bullet when vulnerable. You all should do the same and spare yourself s the abuse.
