They fixed it and after it was no longer hurting, I realized the other filling was bad and was hurting. I went back and they seriously told me they couldn't see me for 2 WEEKS! I am supposed to be in pain for 2 weeks because they screwed up the work they did? Now I have to pay another dentist to fix their screw up! This office should be ashamed or better yet, just shut down. They charged me, screwed up the job then said I had to suffer from their malpractice for 2 weeks. IT would be funny if I wasn't in pain.

The last time I had a dental emergency, it took them less than 90 minutes to get me in -- that was from the time that I called in the morning to say, "I need to be seen," to them calling me up and asking if I can get to their office. Great staff, great dentists, and it's covered through my insurance. What more could I love?

I first sought treatment here for a hole in one of my teeth. Dr. Shay did the filling and cleaned…read moremy teeth. That was perfectly fine. However, she began asking very invasive and personal questions about a family member of mine that she knew at every appointment. I found that a little unsettling. I began to have an issue with a wisdom tooth, so I went in to have it filled as it was just a small soft spot on the tooth that was not causing any pain but wanted it handled before it became an issue. She informed me that because it was a wisdom tooth that it was best to remove it instead of repairing it. She gave me 3 shots of Novocaine and proceeded to pull the tooth without my consent. I could still feel the pain and when I yelled she broke my tooth, causing immense pain. Also during this, she yelled at my partner to put away his phone as she assumed he was recording her while he was playing a game on his phone. After she broke my tooth, she very rudely told me to contact an oral surgeon. Also I had appointments scheduled for my children, an emergency situation that happened more than 24 hours prior to the appointments so I called to cancel the appointments and was charged for "missed appointments". I also was billed for a cleaning/treatment that I never received. Never again will I ever go to this place and I definitely do not recommend it.

His dentist and speech therapist both recommended we see Team Tongue Tie, and his Dr. at Kaiser also mentioned them as an alternate to the traditional tongue tie revision, which would require general anesthesia and was not something we were comfortable with. All three professionals agreed that he needed the tie revision, and that was confirmed by Dr Sacker during consultation as well. I would be misleading you if I told you that the whole process was "easy peasy". My son did scream during the procedure, and I did want to run in and rescue him. It was hard to hear, and I was thankful when the nurse came to distract me. I was thankful that it was over quickly! I asked him afterward if it hurt at all and he said no, he was just scared of the numbing medicine. He's never had any sort of numbing medicine in his mouth before, so that feeling was scary. Despite this, Dr. Sacker and her staff was so nice and caring toward him, that he was not scared to go back for his follow up two days later. The stretches are rough at first. It hurts, it's exhausting, but it's a short term thing. Stay the course, you'll get through it! It was less than 2 weeks before there wasn't any more pain and the stretches became a breeze to do. Okay, now to sing some praises! Dr. Sacker and her staff are positively wonderful. The nurses are very warm and caring, the office was beautiful and inviting. From the get-go, Scott explained thoroughly what to expect from the entire procedure and the aftercare, and explained Dr. Sacker's qualifications as well. He was available for further questions and was prompt in responding via phone and email. Dr Sacker is very knowledgeable, responsive, and empathetic. She is there to support you every step of the way, and encouraged me to send pictures if I felt unsure of how well I was doing the stretches (which I did, and she responded reassuringly). At the two week checkup, she again assured me that at any time, I could text her with questions or send pictures. It's obvious that she cares about her patients and the success of the procedures! Dr. Sacker and Scott were both great in interacting with our family, it's a plus that they're nice people! I'm happy with our decision to see Team Tongue Tie, and would gladly refer them to others needing this procedure.

Team Tongue Tie saved my breastfeeding journey with my second. One that I thought was going…read moreamazing until about 6/7 weeks in. I started getting frequent clogs, my baby was unreasonably fussy, had silent reflux, and started struggling to breastfeed. I had no idea what was going on -- my first child had no issues breastfeeding and I had been doing the exact same thing with my second. Luckily we were referred to TTT and they were incredible from the first phone call. We called frantically on a Friday afternoon after getting tipped off that our baby might have a tie. They were so quick to respond and Scott even took our intro phone call on a Saturday afternoon. We were in first thing on Monday morning for the procedure!! When you're in this desperate position to feed your baby, you KNOW how important speed is. I was SO thankful they were able to get us in so quickly - I may have cried a few silent tears of relief when he said we could come in on Monday morning. Everyone in the office was so helpful, kind, and understanding. The procedure was super quick and easy (as they tell you!). Although it was a bit traumatizing being freshly postpartum and exhausted, the team was so comforting and reassuring. I had this strange expectation that once we had the procedure, breastfeeding would magically be fixed. This was indeed not the case -- it was a much longer haul to get back to a successful breastfeeding situation. We had the ties (4 total) released at around ~7 weeks, but it took several months afterwards to get fully back to successful breastfeeding with little to no pumping. I say this for anyone reading this to gain realistic expectations. We had to go back for lactation appointments (Heather was amazing!) and I was still having to pump around the clock for a few weeks. Our daughter is now 7 months old, exclusively breastfed, and absolutely thriving. In fact, she refuses the bottle at this point, which some people would be bummed about but is such a win for me. I am SO happy that we had this procedure done with TTT and their amazing staff! This is somewhat of a niche operation and I am so grateful that they exist. Thank you Dr. Sacker and everyone at TTT for dedicating so much time and energy to helping families like us!
