A family member recommended for us to try Beagio's and we were happy to oblige. The restaurant was newer and clean, the menu diverse with fine and casual meal options, the staff friendly, and the food great. We were surprised by the amenities offered on site - new construction bridal suite, with guest accommodation/motel rooms, and venues for conducting services/events. They also have an outdoor bar, fire pit, and frankly, more to discover... The place was clearly designed and constructed by an expert craftsman; and the food is delicious, too! read more

It's been a while since my original review so I thought I should leave another. My raving review of nothing but good things has not change. This latest will be on a carryout yesterday . Ordered our favorite pizza. Pepperoni and double CANNED mushrooms. And from the advice given from our first time I stressed wanting mushroom in every bite. They did not disappoint. As usual I didn't get the girls name running the carryout but she took my request seriously unlike most other places. And she was eager to see if I was happy with the pizza. Very much so. As seen in photo I was too eager myself to jump into it before taking the picture.! ! Delicious! Beagios easily my favorite within a hundred miles. And I think tied for favorite in Michigan. The one thing I find disappointing though is their VIP membership I joined after my first experience there. It promised updates, news and deals. Asking for my birthday I was hoping it gave some deal on that day. ( yesterday) in 2 years nothing but a generic "Happy Birthday " email the other day. No offers, news nothing in 2 years si what's the point? I asked the hostess about it when I picked up our pizza and she never heard of the VIP membership. So what's the point I'm wondering? This absolutely does not hinder my opinion of Beagios. I wish I lived closer so we could use them more often. I barely have sampled the rest of the menu. But eager to do so. read more

Very upset I didn't get a refill the entire night. I was parched. Quite annoyed everyone else got refills except for me and my friend.

Loved Beagios!! Service was great. Kept our drinks full. We tried an antipasto salad and cauliflower crust pizza. Lots of cheese on the pizza and the sauce was good. Appreciated the size of the pizza. Most places cauliflower pizza is small. We'll definitely stop in again. read more

We had an amazing time at Beagios in Kingston. We were a fairly large group celebrating a delayed Christmas get together in March. They went out of their way to accommodate our family! (Shirley). Our waitress was amazing and so friendly, not rushed and very pleasant!! Even pausing to help us by taking pics of our group! The gentleman who came in a few times to check and make sure everything ok was so very nice! Food was excellent! Between everyone we had quite an assortment and all of it was delicious! I heard the pizza was incredible, it was good not incredible. We were seated and the table had crumbs on it as did the seating, that's a real downer. I know I get a little too critical, because I'm actually use too good food and up here you have to settle on food and service. Server was good just wish she would have brought out the salad first, other than that she did great. Menu offers a little bit of everything, so you're sure to find something. The pizza was good but when you're use to brick oven pizza this is good, just good. The Ruben was presented well but unfortunately for me I didn't care for the taste of the meat. It was cut thin like I like, but the taste was off for me. The fries seemed fresh cut and seemed like they were dusted in flour to add a little texture and crunch, they were good. The wedge salad was huge, and I like it. Some might say it's a salad how could you get it wrong. Well I've had plenty of wedge salads and some were terrible, this wasn't. If you're ever going north on Van Dyke up towards the thumb hang a left on M46 going west maybe five miles if that, and you'll pass through downtown Kingston don't blink or you'll miss it. This is we're their old location was, the new one is just down the road on the north side. Nice building, nice restaurant. Bathrooms are big and clean just have a weird smell when you walk in, like a sewer smell. read more

Do not go here or even attempt to. My wife and I arrived were seated and then were told that they would be right with us. 20 minutes later and we realized that we were being ignored and it was a horrible feeling. To anyone wanting to just stop somewhere in the middle of nowhere and get a nice bite to eat. DO NOT STOP HERE! If there was even the slightest bit of love and welcoming it would have been tolerable. Attended a baby shower today in their lovely and spacious banquet area. The food was served buffet so I can't speak for being in the restaurant area. The pizza was amazingly good!!!! Served fresh and hot! We were also served the little dough balls, bread sticks and great chicken. And two different fantastic salads. There was a bar in the banquet room attended to by a wonderful and very helpful wait staff. I would definitely go here for the restaurant and if I needed a large room for an event...I would absolutely use this great place. read more

Great food, large servings, always a great waitress to serve you, and a great view inside and on the patio.

Wife and I were looking for somewhere we haven't been to, we were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and good food, staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The prices were reasonable for the portion size and the food was exceptionally good. They have all kinds of food for different appetites. We will return in the near future on our next trip to the thumb. read more

Beautiful Restaurant Restaurant we had Prime Rib bites for an appetizer and a bowl of potato soup which were delicious. The soup could have been a tad warmer. Our entrée was perch dinner and a chicken bacon wrap which were VERY good! They also have their own wine which I had the blackberry and took two bottles home with me VERY nice staff, lots of seating along with a patio out back. We will definitely be back !! read more

Excellent Food but waited too long to be seated bc they forgot about us, sat at 2 tables pushed together when 1 long table was available. waitress would call me honey or sweetie. 35 min wait for food and Mac and Cheese was cold. Chef was pleasant; I liked that he came out and spoke to everyone. The restaurant was very clean and the utensils were heavy and made very well. Did not know they had a bar there also. We held a funeral luncheon at Beagio's and they were fantastic every step of the way. On top of that we had food, great staff, and it was nothing but simple for us. Neighbors wanted to treat us to dinner. So happy they picked this place. The blackened salmon was outstanding. I paired it with baked sweet potato and stuffed green pepper soup and of course a glass of delicious dry red wine. The shrimp Alfredo was a hearty meal. Took my family out to dinner tonight to celebrate my Father's birthday. We were seated fairly quickly but it took a very long time receive our meals after our order. Once we all received our meals we all came to realize that the chicken was sour and burnt (chicken fajitas, chicken Alfredo, and southwestern chicken salad). My father's burger, which he asked to be medium rare, was well done but was bland and the bacon was undercooked. My main concern as a Community Health Nurse was how close all the tables were. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has set up guidelines for restaurants for seating protocol. Requirements are "to have six feet of separation between parties of groups at different tables or bar tops." There was NO space between tables nor were any of the tables "blocked off" to not be used. This is a HUGE infection risk as COVID-19 is on the rise in Michigan. read more

FANCY CHEESE BREAD, NOT PIZZA. Seriously-they don't use sauce on their dough so it's not considered pizza. They pair buffalo sauce with feta cheese and tomatoes; the YOUNG chefs seem confused as to how a flavor profile works. Hungry Howies can, so why doesn't this joint have any clue-after being in the restaurant business for over forty years. The cheese bread they call 'pizza' was so dry i asked for tomato sauce to dip. There are pies on display upon entering, but no dessert menu. Disappointing considering the woman who answered the phone at Beagios-Kingston boasted the third best pizza in Michigan. Went in on a Thursday evening. Had to wait to be seated, no big deal (even though they weren't busy). Waited at the table for well over 20 minutes with no one waiting on us...not even to take our drink orders.
