Bob, and his very friendly staff run a wonderful, clean and very affordable store front restaurant. Both of my visits were based on suggestions from people I ran into shopping in Sandusky. Trisha suggested the Breakfast burrito on my visit and it was great. Bob was cooking and also out in the dining room talking w/his guests. On my 2nd visit I dinned w my buddy Tom, our Server was Trisha again. We had coffee and ice water in front of us w/i 2 min. Tom ordered the breakfast burrito. I selected the country fried steak and eggs, Trisha convinced me again that it was a great choice and it was very good. read more

A fine mom & pop restaurant with a good menu selection and consistently great food. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. The restaurant is right across the street from the county courthouse so it is easy to find. It is a favorite restaurant for the local crowd so that should tell you something. My wife and I eat here at least once a week, often with friends. The owners and staff are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. You can park right on the street or behind the restaurant. There is a back door which makes for easy access when using the back lot. read more

Been going to Bob & Jamies for years and have somehow never left a review. This is based on today's breakfast only. I got their stuffed breakfast burrito and a side of hash browns. They were very good. Now the only reason they didn't get 5 stars was as I was leaving I also got a piece of cheesecake to go. They handed me a box which felt empty. I didn't check it till I got in my car. It was sooo tiny this piece of cheesecake. Was not expecting that as their portions are usually pretty generous. Need to find a place that has decent New York style cheesecake around here somewhere. read more

Stopped here for lunch on the way home from our trip "Up North". Hubby and I both got what we were hungry for. It was all about onions for him today and he definitely got that with his Patty Melt and tasty onion rings. I wanted breakfast and found the perfect combo for me. Pigs in the blanket style pancakes. Glad to have found this local favorite and felt welcomed even though we were just passing through. The cribbage game taking place at one of the tables was very cool too, not something we've ever seen while eating out before. I love surprises like that on our travels!! read more

Dropped in after a sub par round of golf in Sandusky. Went with the fish & chips dinner w/ mashed potatoes and french fries (carbo-load!) and was absolutely thoroughly impressed. The waitstaff and the owner were all very nice and pleasant. The fish was some of the best I've had, super tasty and very crispy. I don't frequent the area too often, but when I do, I would definitely be back. read more

Amazing restaurant, great food, no words to describe how generous the potions are, and the staff are all very nice.

I came here for the brunch on the way home from my 5K race. Mama and I both got omelettes that were very filling. The portions of food we had was pretty good for the cheap amount we paid for. The breakfast we ordered had the perfectly cooked eggs and meat inside of it. My hash browns and toast were perfectly-made. The server was very helpful, and I was glad to find this particular place which used to be a Mexican restaurant. It was an amazing diner, and perfect price of food. read more

Great mom and pop restaurant had the seafood platter and was supposed at the large portion of food I was given. The food was good, the waitstaff was kind and courteous, and the kitchen was quick with the preparation of our food. All in all I will definitely be going back! read more
