I provided her with extensive documentation and a private investigator's report, expecting that she would at least send a demand or file a case on my behalf. Aside from one early conversation about potential strategy, I did not receive any tangible work product: no draft demand letter, no complaint, and nothing was ever filed in court for my matter. Over the next several months, I repeatedly emailed and texted asking for updates, but I received little to no meaningful response or explanation of what was being done. Because of the lack of progress and communication, I terminated our attorney-client relationship and requested an accounting, a refund of any unearned fees, and the return of my file (including the PI report). I did not receive an accounting, a refund, or my materials. I eventually filed a small claims case against her for return of the funds: Case No. 25BHSC02133. On December 8, 2025, the court entered judgment in my favor, and Ms. Dixon did not even appear at the hearing. As of today, I still have not been paid on that judgment or received my file. This was my personal experience with the Dixon Justice Center, and based on that experience, I would not hire this firm again.
