Absolute waste of money!!! I had a sure thing, easy case to beat. The cop was caught in a lie and I was mistaken for someone else. This should have been a layup. They delayed it for almost a year and after all of it, I was still found guilty. So not only did I have to pay the ticket clinic for a job that they didn't complete, but I also have to pay the fine as well. The customer service sounds like they hate their life and don't want to be there. Do yourself a favor and just pay the fine or hire an attorney that actually works for your money. The Ticket Clinic charges you half of the price of your ticket or $250-300, whichever is greater, keep just postponing your court date to ultimately plead no contest. They tell you when you call initally they will do a lot on your behalf. Request videos, delay the case for several months, try and get it thrown out. They did nothing but go to court and plead no contest. The attorney Sean Berry refuse to speak with me even as I tried to contact him 10s of times. Another lawyer said he does nothing but take your money he advised me to ask for a copy of the discovery packet. The customer service reps relayed a message there was not discovery packet because he didn't ask for any evidence. Do not use Ticket Clinic. I received a red light ticket by video in Santa Monica county. I didn't come to a full stop turning right on red and received a ticket. Because of covid my court date was changed three times so I decided to use Ticket Clinic so I didn't miss the date and would have lawyers handle my case. I received no communication from them until after my case where they didn't get my sentence down, I now have a point and have to take traffic school (I didn't find out until calling and complaining that there is online traffic school for $5 instead of the regular one which costs much more) and my right on red is the same penalty if I went flying through at 90mph! Upon calling them to understand what happened (this was back in April) I was told I would get a 50% deposit back. I have called multiple times to always be told the same thing with absolutely no action taken. It is now July, 3 months later and no refund or answers on why I have not received it. I would have been able to represent myself better then having such bad communication, higher fees and no follow through. If this tells you anything about how they handle cases, it's not good. If I could rate The Ticket Clinic a zero then I would. I received a traffic citation and was told by attorney Antonio Moore not to appear in court. Instead of taking care of the situation he pleads guilty for me and I have no idea about it. I looked online at lacourt.org and found out myself. Multiple times I emailed him with no response. I could have went to traffic school. It was my first traffic violation. He did not help me and would not respond. I wasted $250 for nothing. Plus, I have to pay for the traffic ticket too. I could not be happier with the result after a crooked cop pulled me over without any probable cause to do so (I still don't know why) then refused to look at my insurance on my phone, and therefore pulled out his gun, pointed at my head, threatened to shoot me in the head 6 times if I didn't do exactly as he said (which I did exactly what he said so he didn't murder me) then threw me in the back of car, took my shoes off and threw them in my face, then illegally searched my car. Of course he found nothing (I was shocked he didn't plant something but another cop showed up about 10 minutes after he started destroying my car, so maybe that's why he didn't plant something. And since I did not do anything wrong he ultimately had to uncuff me and let me go... But he impounded my car and gave me ticket for no proof of insurance (even though I had it on my phone) and for not parking in the lines because I pulled over into an empty Ralph's parking lot and stopped instead of parking perfectly . Anyhow, I called Ticket Clinic to take care of these tickets for me and get rid of them because they were complete BS. And they did just that. I highly recommend Ticket Clinic if you ever get a ticket... I've tried to fight one other BS ticket years ago, but the judges will always rule against the civilian and the only way is to have a lawyer fighting for you in trial. I had gotten a ticket in my rig in santa maria. hired them and everything goes downhill. first could never contact the attorney. 2nd they ended up getting me a failure to appear. they told me bc of covid they couldn't go to court. 3rd postponed the ticket and then "lost". that right. lost the case. so against my best judgment I hired them again for another ticket in my rig. they postponed my case just to contact me today to say they lost again. and that i must pay the $537 ticket. on top of the $299 i paid them already. I had success with them before and I tried to stick with them but the last 3 tickets (over a 5 or 6 year period) they lost every case. If anything, The Ticket Clinic MAY have saved me a buck or two towards traffic school, but regardless, you pay for a service, you make multiple requests to have a quick conversation with your representative lawyer about your case, and no one gets back to you. Your final message from the company is a do-not-reply email, and that's basically it. NO PERSONAL INTERACTION. You just throw your money and let it ride. Feels like a racket to me. Should have gone with my first choice. A little personal attention wouldn't hurt, folks. I'd at least have felt like something was done on my behalf. I got my first speeding ticket in 40mph zone going 10mph over the speed limit. I thought Ticket Clinic would be able to help me. The original ticket amount was $364. I decided to pay ticket clinic the $249 non refundable fee for them to represent me in court. My date was postponed till about 8months later. My lawyer decided for my best interest was a no contest plea and reduce my fine to 302$. I took a chance and lost more money in the end.
