I took the Beginning Excel/Microsoft class and did NOT complete the course…read more I was extremely disappointed in the class structure and most of the students did NOT even know what a desktop was, know how to maneuver the mouse and worst did NOT know how to log in to their computer after weeks. They still needed assistance. This created a minimum of 20 minutes of the teacher trying to assist all these students who were lost. I felt like she relied on other students to help those students who needed help which isn't fair. They should have a prerequisite to this class MUST know basic microsoft, how to use a mouse, how to save/ download documents into a folder, etc. I decided to stop going to the class since the teacher had to focus on these others students and then when everyone was finally on the same page. She would literally rush through the chapter since of course our class was behind. I'm giving it 3 stars since this isn't the teacher's fault or the students. The school needs to do a better job in making some of these courses to having a prerequisite pertaining to that course.

The store is super cute and her fabric selections are gorgeous. With COVID restrictions lifted, Salima is able to offer in house classes, along with her Zoom classes. It's so much fun to finally be able to get together with other sewing enthusiasts in person, whether taking a class or coming in to shop. Turned out to be a great choice, Scroc has a great welding program, in just 2 modules I was able to get my Stick D1.1 certification. Mr.Pete is an excellent teacher, very passionate about welding. My friend also received his D1.1 certificate in that same amount of time. The amount of hands on learning experience is excellent. My son started at the Coder School at the beginning of February, and he has been loving it…read more Before his first lesson, I reached out to ask some questions and I was immediately impressed by the manager's (Randy's) compassionate, validating, and collaborative response. My son got to try out a class with Coach Roy (who was wonderful!) to see if it was a good fit for him, and now he takes lessons weekly with Coach Justice (equally fantastic!). The whole staff is warm and friendly, and they accommodate to each child's needs. Coach Justice provides great structure and challenge for my son, while also allowing him the agency to be creative in what he's learning and working on. My son is engaged and focused the whole hour, and is really proud to show us at home the progress he's made each week. FYI, if this applies to you: they are vendored through Harbor Regional for self determination for social rec. Highly recommend!
