First time I've bought something from them and I'm very pleased. My house and driveway faces to the Northwest and almost a week later, still had glaze ice on it. The part next to the street and the neighbors across the street have no ice on their driveway or sidewalks. I know it was too late but started looking for deicing salt yesterday but the Ace Hardware were we normally get it was out with no plans ordering anymore this season. Same with two Lowe's but I did find some on Amazon and ordered some but won't be here till tomorrow. In the Iron Station web page (local neighborhood, Bean posted they had several pallets available. Drove over and they still had some, so I bought a 50lb bag and spread some on my driveway and sidewalk. It's already working and should be clear tomorrow. It was so slick that my wife and I were afraid to walk to the car particularly if we had a hyper Corgi with us. They even loaded it into the car for me was help because of mobility issues. We needed major repair work done on my parents' basement banks after erosion washed parts of it away from the house. The area was a mess and definitely not a small job. From the first conversation, Bean Brothers Landscaping stood out. Nathan handled everything from the planning side and made the process easy to understand, and Tyler and his crew showed up ready to work and did a really good job. Communication was solid the whole time, the plan made sense, and the work turned out exactly how it was explained. What really mattered to me was how they treated my mom. She's a widow and lives across the state from me, and they treated her with respect the entire time. They kept her updated, explained what was going on, and made sure she was comfortable with everything. She started out pretty apprehensive and ended up feeling completely at ease. Dishonest. Unprofessional. Zero accountability. Run the other way. I hired Bean Bro. Lawn Care less than a year ago and it was one of the worst business decisions I've ever made. They charged my account every single month without fail, but did not provide the services I paid for. Over time, my lawn declined badly--burned spots, weeds completely out of control, and no visible treatments being done. When I tried to get answers, my calls and messages went ignored for weeks. When I finally got through to a manager (Will), he admitted he had received my messages but "hadn't gotten around to calling back." He also told me that his hands were tied because the owners had made the decision not to fix the damage they caused. Instead, the company dropped me--and many other residential clients--because they decided to pursue commercial accounts instead. To add insult to injury, I paid nearly $2,000 for 5 months of services that were not rendered. Another lawn company confirmed that if my yard had been properly treated, it would never have declined to its current state. The owners refused to speak with me despite repeated requests, hiding behind their employees instead of taking responsibility. Bean Bro. left me with a ruined lawn, charged me for services never provided, and forced me to spend even more money hiring a reputable company to repair the damage. I waited for them to start a project. After not showing up when stated I contacted them. Had an excuse that a work crew was laid off. Waited some more and contacted them again. At this point I have no confidence in the company and asked to cancel the contract. They said they were under Chapter 11 and could not refund my hefty 50% deposit. But I still get email offering their services and their site on Hwy 16 has big signs advertising warranted work. Do not patronize Bean Brothers. There are many other reputable and honest companies. June 2024 Bean Brothers did some work for an HOA in Charlotte NC. The work was shoddy and untimely. The owner acknowledged he would fix the problems, but the HOA would not post anything disparaging AND give them a one year contract. They are consistently disappointing! Do not use this landscaping company. Find someone else that you can trust! They talk a great game during the quote but they do not deliver on what they quote you. Their communication is unreliable just like their scheduling. William, Taylor, and Kayla all told me the crew would be at my house last Thursday and then it was Friday. No show! When I called, right no one called me, it was due to the weather..? The sun was out, partly cloudy. Keep in mind this was a visit to "make it right " from the Fall of 2024. We spent over $4k so we were committed to improving our lawn. We trusted them to do what they said they were going to, what they quoted, what we paid for in full, and what they continued to promise to fix. The workers that come out are hard working and kind. We just received notice yesterday that they are terminating our lawn care maintenance effective immediately. No 30 day notice. The past few months we have had several different lawn care managers with no communication. No one returns phone calls or text messages. Part of the contract was for them to trim the bushes and we have been asking for the past several months to do this and nothing. I do not recommend doing business with this company! read more

We had a contract with Bean Brothers to plant a lawn in our yard. They were quick to get the check. After several phone calls and a negative review on FB the seed were sown in November 2024. Part of the contract was weed control. The per who did the seeding said someone would come back after the seed has germinated to do the weed control. No one has showed up yet. I have called the number on the website twice. Every time, during business hours I have only been able to reach a phone tree. Both time I have left voice messages. No response. Extremely long delays, shoddy workmanship, and questionable business practices. Too many issues to list here; however, the vast majority of the issues with the project were generated under the direct guidance of the owner, Nathan Bean. Save your time and money, look elsewhere.
