This was my first time to this part of the 757 and this quaint ice cream shop. Anytime that Key Lime is on the menu, I'm going to get it. The flavor had that distinctive tartness and the recognizable texture of graham cracker crust which was absolutely delicious. We stopped by Bean's Ice Cream for our first Yelp event. The shop was cute and clean, with plenty of space to hang out, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They carry a wide variety of Hershey's Ice Cream flavors. The portions are very generous, and the prices are reasonable. There was no wait when we arrived. We enjoyed the roadrunner raspberry ice cream. Our favorite parts were the customized Yelp spoon and the outdoor window murals! read more

Large selection and seasonal offerings. Friendly staff always. Great small town vibe with plenty of room inside and outside to eat onsite. After eating lunch at Chef Lu, my girlfriend and I headed to this little spot for some dessert. They've been around since 2019 serving not only ice cream scoops, but milkshakes, floats and sundaes. With a pretty day like today, why not give it a try? Once we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and ordered at the counter. I chose a hot fudge sundae consisted of salted caramel truffle ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream on top of a cookie text brownie (my girlfriend took the cherries on top). Declined my service dog in training!! I told the girls that she is on training to be a service dog they stood behind the counter gossiping decided to stand there staring at me until I removed my service dog. I personally love this place! It has a good location for Poquoson residents, they have great ice cream... "yes, its Hersheys" BUT just an FYI it isn't the basic kind of Hershey's ice cream and you can't just get it anywhere. The Raspberry Road Runner is one of my faves and the Cold Brew Mocha Crunch Coffee Icecream. So gooood! I take my kiddos here and any family that come to visit. We all love Beans and we love the prices. Its not super pricey like Cold Stone, and other places. So its nice to have some good ice cream for a cheaper price. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. Outside they have picnic tables with string lights. It creates a good ambiance for summer nights. Inside it has always been clean when I have gone. This is a big go to for our family! We really enjoy getting the milkshakes. The milkshakes are usually had a perfect texture. The location in Poquoson is easily accessible. They did open up a new location I think it's in Yorktown but don't quote me on that one. Follow them on their Facebook page for updates. The staff which is usually teens they're nice and on top of things. The prices are actually reasonable as well. You can tell the owner really takes pride in what they offer to their customers. There is a nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy your ice cream treats. The parking lot can become a little crazy. They have a big selection of flavors including traditional ice cream and several non dairy options in addition to quite a few variations of milkshakes, slushes, ice cream sandwiches and much more. The kicker is that their prices are really low. Like low low. What you get here would cost you twice as much at baskin robins. The owners are really nice and they get a lot of love from the community. We'll definitely take the bros back for some ice cream throughout the summer. It's a fine place for locals who are looking for an ice cream parlor that's close by. I got a small orange blossom ice cream in a waffle cone and it only cost $4, so it's certainly cheaper than a Kilwin's or Cold Stone. But the ice cream is Hershey's brand, which you can get at many other places. I was a little disappointed they didn't let me try a sample or too, but if it's COVID related, I can understand it. Also, the waffle cone didn't have that great crunch on it, it had a little crispiness, but it was more soft than crispy, so the cone was getting stale. We came here for the first time last week and overall I was pretty good. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way to stop there but if you are craving ice cream and it's close then it's a good place. I got the cookies and cream and my husband got the peanut butter cup one. They definitely load you up for a scoop which is awesome and the chunks in the ice cream are large so they for sure don't skimp. My one suggestion is I wish they had pictures or descriptions of their ice creams since we aren't allowed inside because of covid (totally understandable) and can see what's in it at least.
