One was a referral from a friend and the other was thru Service Magic (btw, avoid Service Magic if you don't want to get spammed with phone calls). Lenny's price came in between the other two, so he wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. What finally made the decision for me was his prompt and responsive service. Lenny is very professional and is very good at what he does. He also employs excellent carpenters in his staff, but I believe that the secret to his excellent service is his wife Lisa. She scheduled the work, took care of any changes, etc. and generally made my life easier by allowing my wife a contact person to handle all the details. The only reason that I did not give a full five stars is because Lenny didn't actually do the cabinet installation. It was done by another carpenter who works thru him, but was excellent none the less. Overall they did a very good job and I would hire Santosuosso & Sons again.

They remodeled our kitchen, dining room and downstairs bathroom, adding hardwood floors, moving walls, adding windows etc.. We had three separate jobs to do. Replacing a window, adding on to a deck and building a set of stairs. Dustin gave us a fair price for all three jobs, in line with other bids we received. Dustin was great to work with. He showed up when he said he would and completed all three jobs in a short period of time. He gave suggestions on how to make the designs better than what we had planned and did exceptional quality work. You could really tell that Dustin takes pride in the work he does. He did an excellent job cleaning up the work site and even raked out and reseeded a small section of lawn that had been damaged during the job. On top of all that, Dustin is just a very nice guy to deal with! I highly recommend Dustin McPherson of Macs Remodeling for any home improvement project that you need done. We will certainly be using his services again in the future.

I'm sure Cale (our builder) will love to hear how you boast a lifetime warranty but then deny your own work after the fact. I won't get into the nitty gritty but this guy lied about what our pricing included then told us at the end the price wasn't for the backsplash in our kitchen as well and he wanted additional money for it (new construction build). He didn't finish the job, we were left with the inner lip of our shower having no seal above the tile. The gap was big enough I could fit my fingers into it. Then he asked the painter to do caulk the lines by the ceiling which was his job. 4 months after we move in, our tile is cracked. Gee wonder why, would have nothing to do with the gaping hole you left in the seal, would it?

Didn't return my calls over the course of two business days. Will pursue other contractors.read more

I was expecting to run at 48amp but we could only settle at 32am which I am fine with. Mark workmanship is amazing he did a fantastic job and cleans up after himself, even though I told him I'll take care of it but he still insist to finish his job thoroughly. Mark Perry is man with honesty and integrity goes above and beyond expectation I wouldn't hesitate to hire him.

I'm writing this review in response to work I had done several years ago. This was, by far, the…read moreworst experience I've ever had with a contractor. I had a sunroom redone -- new floor, new support posts, ceiling, lighting, etc. During the entire process, Bob was extremely unpleasant, to put it mildly. That would be fine, if the work was done well. It most certainly was not. The floor was a complete disaster. A wide plank floor with gaps up to 1/8" in between planks. A sanding and stain job that looked like it was done by someone who's never installed a floor before. Sanding circles all over the floor and bubbles in the poly virtually everywhere. The ceiling planks weren't installed properly and separated and cracked just days after install. The drywall repair was done horribly, the mud wasn't sanded properly and they painted over everything before it dried. To top it all off, they initially put in the wrong supports under the sunroom, only to replace them with the "proper" ones that they decided to cut too short, causing the entire room to separate from the house by about 1/4". For you own sake, if you're reading this review please stay away from these clowns.

We didn't even end up replacing all of them giving our time expectations to remain in the dwelling. The subcontractor who came was young but friendly and was able to replace the windows in a short period of time. Most importantly he cleaned up whatever debris remained. 8 weeks later no issues and the windows look great.

We also incurred several hundred dollars in additional charges throughout the process. After weeks of coordinating, they canceled the installation an hour before the appointment not once, but twice. You would expect the second attempt to be handled better, but it wasn't. After that second last-minute cancellation, we requested a refund. It has now been over a month, and we still have not received our money back, nor have we received any meaningful communication or updates from them. The lack of professionalism and accountability has been unbelievable. At this point, we cannot recommend this company to anyone.
