I'm sure Cale (our builder) will love to hear how you boast a lifetime warranty but then deny your own work after the fact. I won't get into the nitty gritty but this guy lied about what our pricing included then told us at the end the price wasn't for the backsplash in our kitchen as well and he wanted additional money for it (new construction build). He didn't finish the job, we were left with the inner lip of our shower having no seal above the tile. The gap was big enough I could fit my fingers into it. Then he asked the painter to do caulk the lines by the ceiling which was his job. 4 months after we move in, our tile is cracked. Gee wonder why, would have nothing to do with the gaping hole you left in the seal, would it? read more

Did a good job of installing flooring but carpenter he is not. I asked to to replace my woodwork when flooring was installed. He bought some cheap baseboards from Lumber Liquidators that was a inch shorter than my original woodwork, never bothered to get the same size baseboard that I originally had. He left a big space in between 2 baseboards and never bother to cover the nail holes or do any calking. The baseboards are also uneven leaving gaps at the bottom of the baseboard & the floor. When you ask him questions he gets impatient. After he finishes a job he doesn't return to fix his mistakes. I had to pay another $600.00 to buy new baseboards to replace these cheap ones and to hire a carpenter to install the new baseboards. read more

We hired Mike from all about flooring to install a grout-able vinyl tile floor. We explored different floor types and got a few different quotes. Mike gave us his honest opinions on product and a good price to install the floor. We are so happy we decided to go with him. The floor is perfect. We had him install the 1x2 tiles an a diagonal and the lines are all perfectly aligned. He did a really nice job. The floor came out better than expected. He has attention to detail and does more then just install the floor. He replaced the floor trim and installed new toe kicks on my cabinets. We hired Mike after seeing several online reviews and endorsements and he lived up to those reviews! Mike did the work while we were on vacation. Mike installed laminate flooring throughout the first floor and tiled our bathroom. When we returned, everything was in its place and the house was spotless. Mike also went to great lengths to keep us posted and helped resolve an issue with a leaking fridge. It is nice to have someone local that is trustworthy and does really great work. Mike and his crew did an amazing job replacing an old, unsightly ceramic tile floor in my kitchen and half bath. They were professional in every way - Mike gave us a reasonable quote and was even able to start the next day due to another job cancelling as he knew we wanted to get it done ASAP. He even shifted his schedule a bit so that the whole project could be started/finished in less than a week. In just the first day, the team removed ~250 sf of ceramic tile, re-secured the subfloor and poured a leveling compound. During the next 2 days, they expertly laid the new tile and put all all the baseboards and vents back together perfectly. Mike was very communicative about the process and gave lots of advice notice of what to expect and how to save money where we could (we are in the midst of listing our house for sale). They showed up when promised and cleaned up all the expected mess. The new tile floor looks fantastic. Definite A+! read more

We just had Mike out to carpet our basement stairs. We were really impressed with his work ethic. We called him yesterday morning. He got right back to us. He came out that afternoon to measure and show samples of what he had in stock and voila...less than 24 hours later we have a beautiful set of carpeted basement stairs. He could have written this small job off but he didn't and I'll tell you what...we would never use another flooring installer ever again. All About Flooring did an AWESOME job installing my carpeting!!! I LOVE IT AND AM VERY HAPPY!!!!! AAF is a family owned and operated business and I tell you they couldn't be a nicer group. I am still getting compliments when friends and family come in and see the carpet AAF installed. I was really unsure about what color carpeting I needed, whether to go dark or light in color. Mike and his wife Dee helped me to choose a perfect option for the space and at a great price. Mike and his son arrived on time, did an extremely professional job, were very careful when moving my furniture out of the way and made sure everything was put back in it's place afterward. AAF has a great deal of decorating experience as well, so it was a lot of fun to talk to them about ways I could spruce things up!!!!!!!!! Very pleasant to work with and they came up with an option for me that I loved, in the price range I was looking for. I am planning on having AAF put a barnwood floor down in the future and we discussed some really exciting options for that as well.
