It is very clean. You can really tell that it is taken care of. There are 2 cute bedrooms! Perfect for a family of 4, or 2 couples! We stayed in the bedroom upstairs. It is a loft with a gorgeous view to your left and right! There's a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee. No matter where you are, you have an amazing view in this cabin. We brought sausages and steaks for dinner the two nights we stayed! There is a microwave, an oven and stove top. You can cook up a gourmet meal if you'd like! They have utensils, dishes and bowls. Pretty much everything you'd need. We had a fire going the whole time here! Never ran out of firewood. This was such a treat. If you are wanting to bring your pups, this is a pet friendly cabin! It's $25 a night per dog (2 dogs max). Worth it to bring them as they are family too! If they have an opening, take it! This is a great spot you don't want to miss out on!

Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. All you need to bring is food and clothes. Came here for a much needed rest and ride on the side by side. The owners here are first class. They make your stay absolutely fantastic. We left some stuff here after the last visit and they brought it to us. Truly great folks. You will not be disappointed with a stay in any of the cottages. Look at the stars at night and cook on the grill. Go with an open mind to relax and get away. We came at Labor Day to get away for 4 days, Michael and his family run a first class place. The owners were communicative, helpful and available from the time I inquired about their property until the day we checked out. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort. No detail was forgotten. We were very comfortable, especially at bed time. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Although we were in the woods, we felt safe at all times. The owners were close by as well. The location was far enough away from town but not so far that it was inconvenient to drive and pick something up or go eat. It was so nice to have a designated fire pit right off the house. The grounds were immaculate and full of beautiful sights and sounds. Our first night in, we pulled up and there were 5 deer right in front of our cottage. Just down the long drive, there's a picturesque babbling brook that runs along side the cottage. I could have sat there the entire week and been happy. We will be back with our family to enjoy Arkansas at Stonehill Cottages. I highly recommend these cottages to anyone wanting a beautiful getaway. We went ATV'ing and had the time off our lives. Oh, it was too cold for us, but there's a beautiful lake on the property for fishing and paddle boating. Theres also a small waterfall and swimming hole. Next time...

I hate to be effusive but, once inside, the phrases didn't stop. The cabin is at once elegant and unassuming. It's simply built and decorated in a wonderful way. I can't say enough about the quality of the craftmanship. No worries about 'pictures not matching the experience' with this property. You won't be let down and left wondering if the photos were actually taken at the place in question. Here, the photos don't do it justice. It's nestled in the woods with trees all around, but has a convenient drive up so it's not a hassle getting luggage inside. The views are stunning, and the appointments super comfortable, from the beds and linens, to the shower/bath features and amenities, to the Apple tv casting, letting me cast from my Apple phone/ipad onto the tv (we were able to download movies to our ipad then cast them to the tv for viewing). We're hoping to hop in the hot tub on our next visit! And, don't think that just because you're 'in the woods' you're cut off from civilization! There is plenty of "support services" nearby, including night spots, restaurants, and so much 'outdoorsy' stuff to do. If you're looking for a 'little cabin in the woods' that is superbly comfortable and simply a delight to look at, then you'd be hard pressed not to give this beautiful place a look.

We have stayed many places & we usually stay at Petit Jean but we decided to check out Riverview Cabins & Canoes & it turned out to be the best trip to the Arkansas mountains we have ever had. We rented the small cabin for 2 with the hot tub. It was so adorable! The bed was super comfy & the hot tub was amazballs. It was perfect for 2, very romantic & had everything we needed. The first night it rained & we hung out & made veal meatballs. So yummy! We loved the little gas stove & the giant shower. There was also a cute little fireplace & bear rug! So adorable. The hiking in the woods was cool, the canoeing & river was beautiful & the riding stables were well kept. The whole property was very nice. All the Cabins were picture perfect. There are a couple different canoeing trips you can take & you can hike & ride the trails. There is a little town near by you can go have lunch too, we checked that out, it was very cool with some very cool old buildings & a couple fun lunch spots. It is out in BFE, Walmart, grocery stores & liquor stores are like an hours drive away so bring everything you need b4 you get there. The lady that works the check in was very sweet & very kind to us. The clocks sprang forward (daylight saving time) & we overslept the last day bc our bed was that comfy! I called her & she was very cool about it & gave us an extra hour to check out. That was almost 3 months ago & we are still talking about what a great time we had there :)) We can't wait to go back! Highly highly recommend.

Everything in the kitchen was soaked and there was a huge puddle of water in the walkway to kitchen. My kids both slipped and fell on the concrete because of it. I called and messaged several times with no response but the one time I did they said they contacted maintenance, which actually didn't happen. They sent someone at 6pm the night before we left. We had to deal with this, the ice maker not working, and a shower that wouldn't drain throughout our vacation and after them mentioning a discount, they ghosted us. I've reached out several times several ways and nothing. I honestly couldn't imagine treating a customer, or anyone this way. Thursday afternoon- arrive at cabin, discover leak from ceiling in kitchen. Suspect it's air conditioning unit because the leak was also coming from outside condensation drain. Immediately I contacted Hidden Hills office because no maintenance number was listed. She said she would contact maintenance and get back with us. Never heard back. Thursday night- I call and no answer. Immediately get a text saying maintenance was contacted and they were supposed to send HVAC over. *she also said you will definitely get a discount* but mind you, I've already paid for rental. Friday- wait around for someone to show up. So 3pm rolls around and I send a text stating nobody has shown up for the leak. At this point we also have discovered the ice maker doesn't work and the shower won't drain. No response at all. Saturday- I get a message from maintenance on Facebook because of my Facebook post about this experience and he says he never got any message about the maintenance issue. He apologized but also tried to say I didn't call the right number although there's no number for him listed anywhere expect the fridge which clearly states to only call him after hours and for emergencies. So anyway I let him know the situation and he tells me the lady went through another maintenance guy and he would follow up. Never followed up. I sent pictures to both maintenance and the lady I spoke with. No response from her, but he said he talked to HVAC tech and he would be here shortly. Nobody showed up, so I called the office again. She acted surprised and said she'd contact maintenance again. She texted back saying HVAC tech is supposed to be heading over there, let her know if he doesn't show. He didn't show up. Saturday night about 6pm someone showed up to fix the AC leak, told us he hadn't been called out to this until 10am this current day. I then texted the company back and said he had been over. THEY said we would "definitely" be given a discount. I kindly accepted and asked what kind of discount and they responded with she would look at our account the next day. Sunday- nothing, but it is Sunday on a holiday weekend so I waited until the evening to text back again to follow up. No response. Monday afternoon- I emailed the same message, no response. So they ghosted us after checkout. It just really sucks. We spent what little extra money we had to make this trip happen for our family this summer. Then to have this disruption and headache throughout the whole trip is so disappointing. The lack of concern and communication was the most disappointing though. Please just don't make the mistake of trusting them, because clearly they don't care.

They have 4 different themed cabins, 2 for pets and 2 for no pets. They are spaced far enough apart to give you your own room and not be elbow to elbow with your neighbors. There is also a large double-wide trailer that's called THE LODGE for larger groups. It has a large yard and is farther from the other cabins. There's a small creek that runs in front of the cabins. It was bubbling and all and if you come during the cooler months it'd be great to sleep with the windows up to fall asleep to. They come with satellite tv, pots, pans, dishes etc and sheets and towels. Unfortunately because of the covid we had to bring our own sheets & towels but that's no biggy. They also provide limited toiletries (soap, hand soap, dish soap, etc). There's chairs for the porch, a grill and fire ring and a picnic table to use. The cabin was nicely furnished and decorated with the LOVE theme. We had a queen size bed. It was way too hard for me but my wife slept fine. Not sure about anybody else but we had ZERO cell service there. There are also lots of dead zones in that area (at least for our carrier). It was VERY PEACEFUL AND QUIET!!!!!! Nobody running up and down halls or slamming doors off their hinges. We were told their were some atv trails close by but we didn't do that this time. There's many different options fairly close by and I would highly recommend the scenic loop that runs from Mena on into Oklahoma. I think it's about 55 miles long. The management told us the right before we arrived that we did not have access to the washer and dryer. When we arrived, we also had NO cell service and no wifi was offered as well. The only "entertainment" offered was 2 puzzles and a few movies along with their small TV. When we first arrived, a big roach that the management claims to be a "native beetle" was happily roaming across the kitchen cabinet. When we went outside, the deck was infested with a large nest of red wasps with no bug spray provided, just 3 fly swatters. When I went to step in bed, I actually stepped on a dead wasp. When my husband laid his head down to go to sleep, a nice roach greeted him across his night stand. Not to mention, he was doing a puzzle and a roach flew onto the puzzle. While we were sitting in the living area watching the cob webs flow from the shaking ceiling fan, we noticed one of the beams is crooked and the supporting beams are not even attached. Safety hazard much? On top of all the bugs, we got to enjoy the heat of the cabin! The sun managed to shine through the filthy, cracked windows. We could not even sleep upstairs because it was unbearably hot. We were forced to sleep on the couch and it was still hot. There were small hair balls attached to the couch and rug. The water pressure in the showers is awful. We will definitely be taking our money elsewhere. There are plenty other of nice cabins that are even more affordable. This cabin was a waste of money and a complete disappointment. Yikes!
