However, we were seeking a hand-on education where our kid would develop a love of learning and prioritize asking questions rather than memorizing answers for a test. We were also looking for an education where the whole child would be developed and there was an emphasis put on EQ as well as IQ. We can't sing Bixby's praises enough and can't wait until our 1 yr old is old enough to attend!

The smaller environment has enabled our 'different' thinker to adapt and produce work he is proud of. He's with a great group of kids and enjoys the schools flexible use of 'know yourself', wonderfully creative with learning ideas and encouragement for kids with dyslexia, ADD, etc...has made a world of difference. Only one more year before high school, but we see his connections with teachers and peers and are pleased to watch his progress.

She enjoys seeing all her classmates (she hated not having school over winter break), singing, playing "family", and running all around the giant outdoor play area. The teachers stay in communication weekly and keep us up to date on class activities, parent learning opportunities, and the progress of our daughter. I appreciate that the snacks are healthy and that they are proactive about allergies. Her teachers are so kind and highly experienced and give the children the tools and the space to develop their interpersonal skills.

Both of our kids are more compassionate and intelligent due to the love and attention of the staff here. There is nearly no turnover in staff, the teachers are very experienced and care immensely for the kids that attend. I can't say enough good things about Meadowlark. I'm sad that we only have another year here, but I know that the impact this preschool had on my children will last a lifetime.

My Daughter started at this preschool when we first moved from Australia over a year and half ago. Not knowing anyone and being in a new country she was instantly welcomed and fell in love with the school, teachers and friends. She absolutely loves going to school (often does happy dances and squeals of joy) and even requests to go more days! My son (2.5) now goes with her and even though he struggles with detachment at drop off some days, the teachers instantly put him at ease. I think it's a bonus that it is a smaller preschool, so children from various ages can all play and learn together, the teachers are also very attentive to every child so no one gets lost. I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone searching for a nurturing environment with active learning and passionate teachers!

We just use the baseball fields for our dog or the area in between, its annoying that we pay taxes…read morebut are treated like second class people when we want to run our dogs there so little kids can play baseball and leave trash every where. The good part is it is close and we can almost always find a good way to let the dog run.
