We stayed in the least expensive room and it was spacious, incredibly clean with a huge bathroom to make us New Yorkers drool. Kip and Cindy were so kind and gave us a ton of recommendations. It was DELICIOUS and filled us up for most of the day.

Front office was great, giving us a ground floor room in the Gigantic Hotel. Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast were fantastic, and the room was what I expect in a budget hotel: No bugs, but questionably clean. AC was loud and about 6 feet off the floor, allowing me to set the temp without my wife's interference.

You can tell they care about keeping it natural and not turning it into some crowded resort vibe. Staff was super friendly and made the check-in easy. The facilities were well maintained (clean restrooms, places to change, etc.) and the whole environment encourages you to unplug and actually slow down. Our glamping tent was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with some of the nicest beds we've slept in while traveling. The tent included both a heater and a fan, giving us options for any weather, although we didn't need either during our stay. The bedding was so comfortable and warm that we slept great throughout the night. The entire property was spotless, including the shower and bathroom facilities, which were always clean and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the bathhouses, including soap, shampoo, lotion, and hair dryers. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The smash burger and Brussels sprouts were both outstanding and some of our favorite meals during our stay. We also loved the camp store, especially having fresh coffee available in the morning. One of the fun surprises was receiving a cute s'mores kit at check-in. It was a thoughtful touch and made our evening campfire even more enjoyable. What really made our stay special was the outstanding customer service. Steve went above and beyond--he came by to light our campfire, asked about our trip, and offered helpful recommendations for places to visit after leaving the ranch. We also noticed him providing the same friendly, personal service to other guests, which says a lot about the hospitality at Conestoga Ranch. There were plenty of activities to enjoy on-site, including free ping-pong tables and video games and air hockey available for a small fee. The ranch also offers a great selection of bicycles, and we enjoyed riding the scenic 5-mile trail to the marina and beach. One thing to note is that the campground is not directly on Bear Lake, but it's just a short distance away. We were treated to a gorgeous sunrise over Bear Lake from the ranch, which was the perfect way to start the day. Beautiful accommodations, excellent food, outstanding service, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Found that this place had openings on a last minute trip for raspberry days. It was the only place…read morewith vacancy. We did the one bedroom with a queen and bunk bed. It worked out nicely. We liked the resort overall. Just like any place it is not perfect but a solid 4 stars. The good: the rooms were clean and pretty spacious, very friendly staff, bathrooms are top notch, access to a large pool that was heated perfectly, access to tennis (we did not use), nice location, and solid walls so you could not hear the neighbors TV or screaming kids The bad: check in time is only at 4pm (unless arranged for another time). I did not read the check in instructions so this was my fault, luckily the manager called and asked if we were still coming and was really nice despite my mistake. They do not stock the bathrooms with shampoo so bring your own, they do provide soap. Since the resort is circular it can be a maze to get to your room (I'm nit-picking here). We only were given one key so we had to coordinate a lot to ensure no one was locked out. The price was about what to expect when visiting bear lake in the summer over a very busy weekend so it was high but expect to pay that. Sure you can spend less down the road but you will not have access to a big heated pool. The kids and I loved the pool a lot. This was a highlight to our trip.

Probably cleaner than a lake or river but growing up they would drain it daily and the water was beautiful. My husband slipped on the steps with my baby in his arms. If he wasn't a fit dude this would have ended badly. Please to the owners. Get control of the algae. If this pool was filtered and clean this review would be 5 stars. The Olympic pool is cold at first but hey it's Idaho not Florida. Awesome old school slide. Friendly staff and lots of tables to hang and eat with the family.

The hosts have been wonderful, and the park is really clean. There are on-site restrooms with showers, laundry; a little store for ice, snacks, souvenirs, and firewood. No WiFi, and cell phone service isn't very good, but that's okay as you are camping. :-) Only complaints are deluxe spots with the little yard and picnic table (nice by the way) are $95 nightly, and the crammed other spots are about $45-60 nightly. Crammed meaning you're parked right next to your neighbors like a parking lot. Our first weekend was wonderful! Quiet, respectful neighbors... but our last two weekends were full of screaming babies, rowdy kids, and loud music. We'd stay again in a pinch due to polite hosts and a very clean campground; but the high prices and loud neighbors are a deterrent. No beach or lake access, so you'll have to drive a little ways. Not really bicycle accessible either as it's far enough out of town, where the bike/walking trail doesn't reach it. Traffic is fast moving by the one way entrance and exits. So look both ways when leaving.
