We had a great little trip here. Great little local owned business. Fun time for the whole family.

I grew up swimming here. Not too much has changed. I loved the nostalgia. The staff is wonderful and so helpful. But my one big huge complaint is the big pool has so much algae. Probably cleaner than a lake or river but growing up they would drain it daily and the water was beautiful. My husband slipped on the steps with my baby in his arms. If he wasn't a fit dude this would have ended badly. Please to the owners. Get control of the algae. If this pool was filtered and clean this review would be 5 stars. The Olympic pool is cold at first but hey it's Idaho not Florida. Awesome old school slide. Friendly staff and lots of tables to hang and eat with the family. read more

My husband and I went for a Friday night. We had rescheduled our reservation a few times due to a very sick pet. They were great about rescheduling and we lost no money. We really appreciated their flexibility. We did this through facebook messaging with them. We called the day of the resi to make sure they had it. They didn't have it, but we asked if they had a room available. They did and made it for us. This was a confusing reservation, so I can understand it getting lost, also in hindsight, maybe facebook messaging wasn't the best way to communicate with them. No worries there. That wasn't such a big deal. Chloe at the front desk was very helpful in doing a resi for us. She did a great job. The rooms were clean and beautifully appointed. This resort has some challenges, but also I think it has great potential if the owners take feedback seriously. We have been to many hot springs over the years and here is our input: Rooms: -The floors are ice cold, please put some rugs down. -Please put a small trashcan in the bedroom area. -During the winter, please put extra blankets in the closet -In the info book, please put a map of the pools with approx temps Pools: For the volume of people who come there, there are not nearly enough options. -Make more hot pools, there is one tiny hot pool that only fits 10 people maybe, and the large pool is too cold for most people. -Please open the pools at 8 or 9am. At least we could have gotten a morning soak with not as many people to make up for the evening one that had no room for us. Lots of people like to do an early morning soak. My husband and I soaked from 3pm to 6pm and planned to eat dinner and come back. By the time we wanted to go back to the pools, there were many rowdy teenagers everywhere, which is fine, but there was NO room in the hot pool for us. The only option was the cold pool and that was too cold for us, especially when the outdoor temps were in single digits. Not a good plan, we called it a night. We really didn't get enough soak time in, and it was disappointing. To the owners: There are many reviews like this and you have a great staff, great rooms and so much potential. Please take this seriously and make some changes, there are so many better options out there. I will not come back until it improves drastically. Please take the time to travel to other hot springs resorts and compare their business models with yours. You guys are totally missing the mark. I truly hope this is taken seriously. I gave you three stars for your great staff and clean beautiful rooms, for the hot springs I would give you zero stars if that were an option. We made a reservation to stay here at the last minute because it was close to volunteer work were we doing for the LOTOJA bike race. The room was nice and newly remodeled. The shower was big and room was spacious. We did not use the pools. We did rush to check in because the latest you can do it is 10pm. The rooms were 4 star but here are the issues: * Quite expensive at 129 per night * We made a reservation online but it did not show up in their system. * I went outside in the morning early to get something out of the truck and noticed the blinds allow people to see in the room from the outside. It might just be a problem when it's dark outside. * I couldn't find an ice machine on the property read more

This place had a makeover, much cleaner. Friendly staff. They should invest in a food area with simple things like pizza, hotdogs, burgers and etc. Swimming can make you hangry! Only complaint would be that the hot tub area is always full of people with kiddos. read more

This "Resort" is nothing of the kind. I went for a 2 day soak in their hot spring pools and got an hour and a half soak. They close at 9 pm. They open at 2 pm. There is nothing at all to do if you go and don't come at those hours. The hot pool was too hot and over crowded at the end that was a cooler. The other pool was cold except the water that came out in one spot that a few people were huddled around. So we spent money for 2 sub 3 star rooms and had to leave before the pool opened up in the afternoon. read more

As my wife mentioned to me many times, you can slap the word "resort" next to the name of any pit, and it'll give a pina-colada sipping luxury image -- until you get there. I'm afraid that's what we got here. The website certainly gives you the impression that it's a paradise resort with everything you could ask for, but in reality it's a bit of a dilapidated wreck. However, its hot-springs-fed pools were pretty great. We really enjoyed the water slide (with hopefully sturdy but rusty stairs), the big pool, and the wading hot pools. One of the two slides was out of commission, with debris and old wood piled up in the landing zone. The high-school age attendants were very sweet and friendly, and kept an eye on things. The facilities were way run-down. The RV spots in back had electricity, but no water or sewer (despite the fact they said they were "full hook-up" on the phone). There were buildings with broken windows back there, along with shattered picnic tables and shards of wood. Rusty screws amidst the scraps. They were really nice folks, and the pools were kind of charmingly dilapidated. Not too pricey, at least. I think if you set your expectations accordingly, you won't be disappointed. Just don't expect manicured lawns, and you'll have to buy your pina-colada-in-a-can before you get here. read more

Their website is quite deceiving. They close half of their pools for half of the season and they are not open on Sunday. We arrived to discover that we couldn't use half of the facilities and immediately asked for a refund on the room and the pools which was denied. They have a 7 day cancellation policy that is also not published on the website. There are plenty of other hot spring destinations nearby that are much better, don't visit this place. read more

I remember coming here when I was a kid and it was great however now it turned into a Swampy shit hole. Introduced it to my in-laws and was completely embarrassed. Not only were their two pools out of order but they could not even afford a discount due to that issue. Lockers in the locker room were old and some even missing keys or broke. It is NOT a Resort and is run down for sure. The owner must have gave up a long time ago. I feel bad for this place. read more

If you are expecting luxury, this isn't the place to go. However, the slide and the pools were fun with the kids. My four year old just adored everything about this place. The swimming pool is nice and cool in the summer time and the slide kept the four year old and the husband busy for hours. The pool has some rust on the bottom and sides. The hot spring pools are clean. The overall appearance is a bit run down with uneven concrete and outdated buildings, but the experience was a good one read more

I would not recommend this place. When we arrived we though we had arrived at Aushweitz (Nazi concentration camp) because of the boarbwire fence and the towering dilapidated slide. Overall this hotel is substandard. Upon checking in we found water bottles behind the head board. There was hair all over the beds from prior guest. The mini fridge/microwave was dirty. Floors was as well. Although renovations have been made there is still a lot to tackle. There was no hot water in our room. The towels were dingy brown and looked like they have seen better days one of the towels had a hole so large that i could stick my entire head through it. The thermal pool flooring was extremely slimy. I felt like i should bathe in bleach afterwards. The desk clerk counted the towels and informed me that i needed to return the towel when we left the pools. I have no intention of keeping your dingy towels. I felt insulted, i have never taken anything i didn't work hard for. Everything had rust. We would of complainted on sunday upon checking out but they were closed. 2 days later i had to email for my receipt, 1 week later i finally got it. I would suggest a major overhaul if they want to make it in this business. read more

Oh riverdale, so many fun memories of this place. This used to be a resort. Now it's just concrete hole with pvc pipe shooting in natural hot water in one area of the peanut pool. The actual pool was clean, no bugs or grass and leaves (as long as you didn't mind walking on slime on the bottom). The "hot tub" was so hot we couldn't even get in, it was at 109 degrees when they checked it and that's just too hot. The shower room and the locker facilities need some help. Everything is wide open to shower. No privacy. Turn the hot water on before you go swimming because it took 20 minutes for the shower water to heat up to shower. The entire floor in the shower area and shower was disgustingly slick from slime? Biohazard? Who knows. My kids enjoyed the swimming but it really needs to be remodeled in the changing rooms. If you are charged "resort" prices you should be able to have a hot shower after a swim. Either fix it to resemble a resort or just call it a hot springs. For a family of four it was $30 to swim in one pool that was 92 degrees. It has the bones there to be an amazing place but right now it's just a corpse. read more

OMG, it looks like it was great resort when it first opened but it has went down hill ever since and no one cared. Me AND wife tried take showers in our respective areas and we each waited a minimum of fifteen minutes for hot water, we called each other on our cell phones waiting for it to warm up because the worker told my wife it gets warm. It NEVER did!! It was frozen cold WHOLE time! It is slimy pools and rust everywhere. No upkeep at all!! read more

Friends and I have a tradition to go up on an evening that it Snows. Nothing beats the experience of being in the hot springs, perfectly warm, while huge snow flakes fall around you. You don't get cold at all, as the heat rising from the springs keeps your head warm. It is lots of fun, and only $5 for the evening hours during the week. It is generally easy to get in and typically almost empty during the weeknights in the winter. read more

We went with family when we were in town to get out of the house. The kids had fun going from regular pool to hot pool. We went in December. The parking lot was very iced over. I am in a powered wheelchair and it was difficult to get from the parking lot into the building-- there were snow drifts/ice chunks blocking the way. My husband had to push the chair hard to get through. Once in the building, there were more obstacles-- a large threshold into the women's bathroom was difficult to get over and no handicapped bathrooms or dressing rooms. There wasn't a good area to park my wheelchair when we got out to the hot pool, and the steps going down into it were very steep. A second handrail would've made the transition much easier. The hot pool felt amazing and it was so relaxing. I just wish it were more accessible and friendly to those of us who live with disabilities. read more

We had our family reunion here last weekend and had so much fun! There were around 200 of us and we had enough space to play and enjoyed every minute of it. We had room to gather and the pools were so big compared to other RV parks. The slides are fun too! We soaked up the sun for days playing volleyball, and swimming in the different pools. My mother loved spending the early morning quiet in the hottest pool. The atmosphere at night was fun too! The RV spaces were so close to the pools and pavilions. The new owners are making improvements all the time. We can't wait to come back. read more

Had a family reunion here and LOVED it. The staff was so nice and friendly. The hot pools had different levels of hotness which was a plus for some one with kids. They even had a water slide that the kids loved! Will def. be coming back here again! read more

Room was not clean, unable to shower. Only had a trickle of water that took 5 minutes to heat up. No one was around to fix the issue. One half used toilet paper roll in the bathroom. No extra anywhere luckily we had napkins from dinner left over. Had to ask for hand soap for the bathroom. Pool was dilapidated and when we asked for towels for swimming they gave us old ragged towels that were the size of hand towels. The beds were thrown together and we were unsure the bedding had even been cleaned. While at the pool I noticed a family enter without a baby swim diaper on their baby and another boy washing his shoe in the pool.The slides had moss growing in them. We were very sad as we frequented here when we lived closer and it has been a fun place to come when visiting family in Preston. However we will not be coming back. We chose this place because there was something going on in Logan that made the hotels outrageously priced, however next time I will gladly pay $200.00 for a decent pool, better service, and clean room. read more

Since August 2013 when the new owners came in, the place has totally turned around!! We had a great stay for valentines day. The room was clean, cute, and nice!! We have since bought season passes due to the amazing improvements and CLEAN pools. I have been going to this resort since I was a young child, I am extremely happy to see how well kept and everything they have been doing. They have a lot more they plan on doing, improving, and changing! My advice is to give these new great owners a chance and enjoy the relaxing, natural hot water!! read more

It's an rv park with its own water park. By park I mean two giant water slides. boy did the kids love them and with no long lines like the big water parks. The slides are some of the best I've been on turning this way and that way. It's under new management/owner and they are working to bring it back from years of neglect. Compared to other rv parks it has a ton to make your trip a memorable one. They had 3 of the pools filled. One was not heated the other two I belive are hot springs. One really hot and the other was a nice warm temp. all where big and had plenty of room. Plus one more that they where still working on and was not filled up. it's not the fanceyest place but It sure has a little bit for every one. We loved are stay. Will be back for sure. read more

Nice clean hotel rooms, and we couldn't hear anything next to us. The people next to us said their baby was crying all night and we never heard a thing. The pools are nice, we played basketball, volleyball and loved the two big slides! Highly recommended! read more

We stayed here for a few nights in March 2012. I'd heard mixed reviews of the place when it was under different management and didn't know what to expect with the new owners. It was winter so things looked pretty dead on the drive up. We checked in and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. Everything was clean and the staff was really great. It does take a little while for the hot water to come through on the showers in the room but the tubs are more than big enough for two. The two hot pools we used were clean and super relaxing. All in all we were really happy with our stay. There was quite a bit of painting and clean up happening so we're excited to come visit again in the fall and see how it has changed. read more

If you have ever stayed at another hotel, you will be extremely disappointed with your stay at this establishment. The room was filthy (posting pictures). Every time the air conditioner or fan was turned on, tons of dead gnats would fly out onto the bed. I woke up every morning with a bed covered in dead bugs. The set up of the rooms is bizarre enough with a hot tub/shower right in the middle of the bedroom, but it looked dirty and unkept. As you can see in the picture, there is a huge yellow stain on the bottom of the curtain, and it is missing several hooks. Besides the disastrous appearance, it is absolutely NOT safe - to step in and out of the shower, there is only a very slick marble step with no slip-resistant strips or hand rails. My mother almost fell - this place is asking for a lawsuit when someone has an accident because of the disregard of standard safety. During our three day stay, the room was never cleaned. They do have wireless internet, but they will refuse to give you the access key. I was advised it is "not for guests." The only thing that could have saved this place was the pool and hot spring, however the pool was also dirty and it was only open from 11:AM-11:PM. The office is only open these hours. With check-out being by 11:AM, we had three different guests come to our room and ask where they should put the key since they wanted to leave before 11:AM and the office wasn't open. They, like us had to leave the key (we only got one key) in the door or in an unlocked room. We had other family members staying at the same time and they had a similar experience (dirty rooms, a broken towel rack, and the upstairs hallway has a "soft spot" in the floor). They charge the ridiculously high price of $90 a night for 2 beds, so it is much better to grab a reasonably priced hotel in Logan and enjoy the scenic drive to Preston/Riverdale. read more

While not the worst place I have ever stayed at it is among the top five. The place was horribly run down, not to mention sits on land surrounded by farms. So with the farms come the flies. We were invaded by them the entire time we were there. We were there on a holiday weekend and the pools were unusable due to a filter issue. The bathrooms were awful and the trash in them was overflowing onto the floor the entire weekend that we were there. They assured us we could use the showers (which are only in the pool area) however they are not accessible on Sundays when the pool is closed. They informed us we would have full service for our RV but they only offered electricity. All in all the place was a run down mess. Oh and the worst part was....ABSOLUTELY NO SHADE! Not a mature tree in sight. Which made for a long weekend in 100 degree weather. We should left and gone somewhere else. I will NEVER stay here again. read more
