We have stayed there three times in the past few years. I'll be honest I was a little worried about not having a hot breakfast but the breakfast that was there had so many choices. We did not walk out hungry. It was comfortable and very clean. The woman who was working was delightful to talk to. We would 100% go back. We love this place. We stayed here on our wedding night and have returned for several anniversaries. The staff is always very friendly. The building is so charming. I was sad that the warm breakfast is no longer a thing though. That was very much a part of the amazing experience. We had some delicious French toast and pancakes in the past. You're in for a treat if you can stay at Old Rock Church. My niece was getting married and chose the venue here. Family members from out of town had booked rooms here. We were able to cancel our room at a local hotel and booked a room at this darling B&B. My daughter was married on the lawn there 2 nights ago. The grounds and accommodations are lovely. The inside is charming and reflects pioneer times. Our low rating comes from the pressure we felt about sticking to a rigid time table. We rented the venue for 2 hours. When we inquired about putting food in the kitchen refrigerator a little before the 2 hours officially started, we were made to feel like we'd be breaking the law. If the venue was busy and there were other events before or after ours, that'd be understandable. We were literally the only people there-anywhere! I won't go into more tedious details, but its sufficient to say that we felt like a time clock was ticking loudly during the event. The owner hovered to remind us that our time was running out. I was too stressed about kicking guests out at the exact stroke of the clock and didn't enjoy my daughter's wedding. read more

We use to love this quaint b&b. After this weekend experience however it has went down hill for the amount they charge. We had a 2 night stay the first night there was a wedding and even though it was loud and it ended well. Second night yet another wedding this time however they aloud kids to go up and down the elevator and run down halls down the stairs and jump to the landing. yeah I get it was there once and was trying to celebrate our 18th had not been here in about 10 years so couldn't wait. Then one of the managers we asked to come look at the fireplace as it wouldn't turn on he was telling us to lite the pilot I'm sorry I didn't bring my tools with me on my get away it's their job to maintain not the guest. He asked why we changed rooms and we indicated for a little more quiet as it was a separate area. I asked for the owners number and they did not have it. So much for a nice relaxing get away so miss the old rock church when they cared about their guests. read more

Beautiful vintage old rock church converted to a very comfortable and charming 16 room bed-and-breakfast. Manager Kip and front desk personnel Sydney and Jana are very personable and have gone out of their way to accommodate my needs. I have stayed here multiple nights and for a price similar to a nice hotel, including a personally cooked breakfast (no buffet style cold cereal & yogurts) brought to your room or served in the dining room, I can't imagine why someone would stay in a hotel. The breakfast menu had seven unique items, from cinnamon apple French toast to all in omelettes and hash browns served with salsa and a choice of beverages, orange juice, milk, etc. Each room is unique and comes in varying sizes and have spacious bathtubs and showers and very comfortable accommodations. The Wi-Fi throughout the building works very well for my business laptop needs. This was an easy five stars for me. read more

This quaint little bed and breakfast is amazing! It is most definitely worth the price and the drive. Each room is a different theme. My husband and I stayed in the Victorian room. Each room has a sleep number bed, jetted tub, and a blu-Ray player. The staff is friendly and super helpful! The popped up some popcorn for us to enjoy with our movie, and had yummy cookies waiting at the check in desk. Breakfast was other worldly! The manager also is the chef.... and he can cook! We have enjoyed coming here for years. The rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly, and in room breakfast service such a treat. Came up for a quick getaway this weekend. When making reservations were told the main building is closed on Sundays but there are two suites available and the adjacent building that are available for Sunday overnight stays. We booked the Grand Canyon room and found it quite comfortable with a good size living room and very comfortable seating, a nice kitchenette area, and a separate master suite with a king size bed. As we were the only guests it was exceptionally peaceful and just what we were looking for. Chocolate chip cookies and milk left in the kitchen was a nice touch. Hospitality delivered our breakfast order right on time. Previous reviews suggest theme rooms are a bit cheesy but we found our "theme room" tastefully decorated. My husband and I have spent every year here for our anniversary. We are currently on our 4th consecutive stay! Every single visit we have had at this establishment has exceeded our expectations. The staff is very polite and always friendly. We have stayed in a couple different rooms but our favorite so far is the Redwood Room. It is a beautiful spacious room/bungalow with several sperate rooms which gives you the feeling that you rented an entire house for the night!! The jetted tub is wonderful and sits in its own room. The cleanliness of Old Rock is completely up to par in every way. We love the breakfast. It is delicious and always comes to our room hot and fresh, served with a smile. I have recommended Old Rock Church to all of my friends and family. Several of them have stayed here and had the same wonderful experience we do every time. My wife and I have been here twice. Once for our wedding night and recently for our 2nd anniversary. We've had a great experience with our stay the first time which is why we went back. Every room has a theme. But, you have to experience the Bridal Suite. It features a king size four post bed, jetted tub and shower built for 2. It's in the quiet town of Providence near Logan, Ut. There's discounts to local restaurants as well. We liked the Beehive. The Old Rock Church hosts weddings as well. It does have a vintage look that appeals to most. The staff are pleasant to visit with. This place doesn't disappoint. We'll be back again. read more

We recently received a gift certificate for this establishment. We attempted to stay there last Friday night. When we arrived, the place smelled awful. It is old, run down, and very shabby looking. Old worn carpet, etc. But the worst part was when we got to our room. The air conditioning was broken. The room was over 90 degrees at 7 PM. The windows were sealed shut, except for one and there were no screens, and mosquitos were getting in. We were offered another room which had slant ceilings or a "cabin" which looked like a trailer across the dark parking lot. We felt like we had booked a certain room and the other options were not similar. We feel it was not asking too much to have the room we booked as well as air conditioning! We had to leave as it was just too hot to stay. Upon contacting the manager named Brady, he is an extremely nasty man. He was rude, accused us of trying to "extort" him Which is so dumb, because we would not even want to come back there and stay and we did not ask for any money back. And we were not receiving anything. He was very very mean and hung up on us. I would advise you to do anything other than stay at this terrible, dirty, shabby, HOT place. Do not ever book an event here, it is so smelly and run down you will be disappointed. And even worse is trying to deal with this angry man. He would not give us the name of his boss or work with us in any way! Again, stay away from this place. I am sure he will try to counteract this but I have nothing to gain by this so I just want to warn others so they will not have the terrible experience we had! AVOID THIS PLACE. As we found there are other Bed and Breakfasts, as well as many clean and helpful hotels in Logan! read more

It's much different inside now than it was a decade ago. I miss the nearly 150 year old exposed beams and pioneer character that was the Old Rock Church pre-renovation. Now it's just a boring theme room B&B, like those that were popular back when I was a kid in the mid 90s. Hello, most of them closed or were renovated long ago for a reason...they were already dated and cheesy by Y2K. I know my nearly elderly aunt and uncle still hit up a theme room place on their wedding anniversary (mid-60s and still going strong). But they're on of the rare holdouts. No one else I know goes to theme room B&Bs anymore, especially under the age of 40. So I wonder, who is this for?? I guess the answer is my parents and other baby boomers, the 'new' Viagra generation. Apologies if I'm sounding harsh, but this place could have been redone so much more elegantly while still preserving the historic feel. How it's done now, with all of the old wood hidden behind drywall and bland paint, it's beyond sad. It's a travesty. read more
