I needed a locksmith to open my storage unit. I made several calls and left messages, my first…read morecall back from a large Locksmith Co was very aggressive and did not want to give me an estimate and pushed for an appt. Shortly after, and with a quicker response, I received a call back from Frank, from start to finish he was very professional and answered all my questions. He not only gave me a price, he said not to worry, he will send me an invoice. He also said that he would go take care of it and call me after to let him know I was finished. My phone rang and it was Frank, he told me that he was on site and was told that I must also be on site with him and that I will need to buy a new lock from them while there. Frank had to wait an additional half hour for me to arrive. Once I met him, he proceeded to get my lock open, or attempt to open it. This is one of those special locks not intended to break into. He had to run down to his truck to get another tool, while he was getting it, I happened to bring up another set of keys that I found on the floor under my car seat but only able to see from sitting in the back. When he got back I said, I found these keys, would you mind if I check them before you continue. He said of course. So....I tried them and it unlocked immediately! Talk about being embarrassed, I apologized and told him I would still pay, but he would not accept it. The bottom line to this review is, if you ever need a locksmith and want to know what true professionalism and true customer service is, please do yourself a favor and call Frank at 1983 Locksmith.
