I had excellent care from Dr. Wilcox for most of those years, but due to scheduling conflicts I was offered Dr. Zhang and have received the same care and attention to detail from Dr. Zhang since first seeing her in August of '24. She is personable, not judgmental (I am active and like the sun), and I have been appreciable of her suggestions and treatments. read more

I have been to the Beatrice Keller Clinic in Peoria 3 times. My Doctor was Dr. Melissa Efron. I suffered from scalp itch and fungus in my finger nails, she prescribed two medicated shampoos for my scalp which took care of the itch however it has returned, and to soak my fingernails in a solution, of vinegar and water, the shampoos worked fine but the finger nail solution did not, until I made the solution stronger, and then it took months. I recently revisited Dr. Efron, I again had scalp itch, and a problem with my nose being red all the time. She again prescribed a medicated shampoo, and some cream and ointment for my nose which I have seen no results in either my scalp or my nose, I called twice and left messages, but they did no see fit to return my calls. The itching makes me scratch my scalp until it is sore, my nose does not hurt, just bothersome that it stays red all the time like I have been out in the sun, as the red never goes away. I am very disappointed in the fact that she does not feel the need to return my calls or to call into the pharmacy another script for both. read more

I had a lesion on my skin that wouldn't heal after even three months. Dr. Baltazar examined me and said it was a common, non-cancerous type of skin growth. I was relieved, to say the least. Dr. Baltazar has an excellent chair-side manner that inspires trust. He is also patient, kind and willing to answer all questions, not at all in a rush to get out of the room. The front desk staff is also very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend Dr. Baltazar and this dermatology practice. read more

Dr. Ellis is a good doctor. The problem is trying to get anyone on the phone to ask for medical records to be transferred or to cancel or reschedule appointments. You will experience phone prompt hell to try to reach anyone and when you leave a message you do not get a return call. This is a huge corporation and they act like one . So, customer service is terrible. You are better off with a smaller dermatology office that has a staff and receptionist that answers the phone and acts like they care. read more

Got a called from my Dr out of state that my biopsy from 2 weeks prior indicated a need for Mohs surgery. I may have been lucky along with doing a lot of calls and leg work which resulted in getting a surgery done In 48 hrs after contacting Beatrice Keller in person over at Sun City West location. I had my appointment over at the Peoria location and Dr Manalo was very professional and got 100% success the first time. When I personally drove to the office in Sun City West initially their office staff did a great job in helping get my records from my home Dr so I could call back the surgery scheduler once I confirmed my home Dr's office sent the records. So far I am pleased with the service and results. read more

Doctors here are wonderful but some receptionists leave something to be desired. Just checked in and stood at the counter being ignored while 2 of them chatted about another patient. I asked after a couple of minutes and she said just a second. No sorry to keep you waiting or even an acknowledgment I was there. So 5 stars for doctors and zero for that receptionist read more

Went in for cancer biopsy on Tuesday....got a call and message on Thursday that my results were in. I called right back 3 times on Thursday and left messages that they could call me anytime Friday, they never called. I called 3x on Friday and left messages again explaining that I'd prefer not to go through the weekend wondering if I have cancer. This place doesn't answer their phone, obviously doesn't care to call anyone back and I'll never return to this place for any further treatment. This place is a joke and just a money grab. Find a doctor and staff that actually care about their patients and not just about getting paid. read more

I think Dr. Zell is absolutely awesome, I have been seeing her for several years. The front office staff are always very professional and friendly... The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it's like mission impossible to get an appointment anytime soon. Easy parking right outside. read more

I would have given one star except the doctors there are ok and Dr Fathi in particular, is terrific. It's the office management that is poor. They don't return calls in a timely fashion as I've had to call numerous times, sometimes getting though to a real person and sometimes not. Even my primary care provider can't get through. Appointments when they can be made are at least 3 weeks out. After filling out all the paperwork and submitting photos of skin lesions and answering questions like "is the lesion growing fast", which its was, the surgeon said she never received the photo nor was aware that the lesion was growing fast and referred me to the Moh's Surgeon as she was not comfortable operating on such a large lesion and I had to wait another 3 weeks. I don't recommend them. I'll find someone else. read more

I wasted 55 minutes trying to reschedule an appointment. It was impossible to reach anyone by phone. My reschedule became a cancellation. I work in healthcare and this is not normal or even acceptable. My advice is to go anywhere else instead. read more

I waited forever for a appointment to have skin tags removed. Saw the Dr. He said they dont remove skin tags!!! Really. There dermatologists. Right? He said I would need to see a SURGEON!! Well I still have them. I'd love to cuss right now. But I'll be good. Uuuugggghhhh! read more

I came in for a quick checkup on some things and to have a mole removed before my health insurance gets downgraded next month. I had all my paperwork completed before hand, and I was rewarded with a less-than ten minute wait. The staff and doctor were very friendly and understanding. I got my procedure done and my prescriptions filled without any fuss or argument about what my needs were and how I felt about what was going on. Aside from having a chunk of my head cut off, it was actually a pretty pleasant experience. I would recommend Dr. Jeffries to others, certainly. read more

Dr. Thomas saved my life. I just had surgery to remove a melanoma. I had three full skin checks by both my surgeon and my family doctor and then by Dr. Thomas who was seeing me for the first time. She found a second melanoma, that the other two missed in the same week. She has been fabulous as a family dermatologist and in my opinion, 12 years ago, Dr. Thomas saved my life. UPDATE 2017: My doctor left this office. I have seen three of their other physicians and have been incredibly disappointed. They didn't follow up with my doctors notes, didn't check and measure my moles, one glanced at me from five feet away and decided I was good to go! I'm actually afraid now, that I'll never find another doctor with her care and skill, and with my history that's like a death sentence. read more

Dr. Wilcox is a superb doctor and over the 15+ years I've been seeing her she has never been less than excellent. My comments apply to the way the clinic is run, not to my experience with the physician. It seems this clinic regularly schedules more appointments than can be handled in the time allotted. As a result, patients spend a long time waiting in the lobby and/or the frigid examination room before actually seeing the doctor. To make matter worse, patients are instructed to disrobe and sit nearly naked in the examination room for 15 minutes or longer before the doctor comes in (the tissue paper blanket they provide doesn't really help). Adding insult is the sign posted in the lobby informing patients that long wait times are to be applauded because it shows how much the doctors care! Maybe so, but if the ADMINISTRATION really cared, they'd make the appointment slots longer so the patient wait would be shorter and the doctors wouldn't be so rushed. read more

Excellent Patient Care! I was fortunate to get a "new patient" appointment at the Peoria Beatrice Keller Clinic within one day due to a cancellation. My first visit to this clinic and exam by Dr. Melissa Efron-Everett and her team far surpassed my expectations. Upon my approach to the front desk check in, the entire team was professional, efficient and cordial; instantly putting my anxiety to rest. I developed a dermal hyper sensitivity hive reaction that covered approximately 20% of my body. Dr. Effron fully examined me while attentively "listening" to my concerns. After a complete exam; she then went over a prescribed medication/care plan in depth and suggested we do a tissue biopsy to get a definitive diagnosis which was confirmed by the results I received today less than a week after my visit. One day after starting Dr. Effon's treatment plan I was out of the misery that I endured for days prior to my visit at Beatric Keller Clinic and needless to say....I am feeling so relieved to have found Dr. Effron, her team and this excellent care facility! I went in to get a cyst on my left breast removed. I had to wait more than a month for the appointment. I finally went in & the doctor told me I can just remove it myself. Why would they suggest that. I'm not a doctor. That's what I went to her for. It was a total waste of my time. I ended up going to another office & they removed it right then & there. Needless to say I will not be going back to this office & I am spreading the word to my friends about how horrible my experience was. read more

I have received the best care at this office. Dr. Wilcox is an excellent dermatologist and has helped me through many procedures for basal cell and squamous spots. I had the Blue-light procedure on my face and David was so knowledgeable and caring while I was being treated. I would recommend this office to everyone. read more

THE WORST medical practice on the planet and I know, I am an RN. Shabby, worn, 80's office. Male MD did not complete a full body check for skin cancer which was a reason for my visit and warranted as my nose and shoulder biopsies taken that day were positive for basal cell carcinoma. Practice referred me to their Mohs surgeon, who was out of network for me and would have cost me considerably more had I not caught it. Drama, hold times, voicemail lead to an elongated delay for treatment with an in network provider. Just spent 20 minutes on hold to cancel a pre arranged appt. RUN from this practice! read more

I have been going here for years and I have always been happy with the care I have received. Last week I was in for PDT and received the best care I have ever received in a medical office. David explained every step of the procedure I was going to receive, answered all of my questions and talked me through the bluelight treatment. He really knew PDT and had nothing but good things to say about his job and the doctors he works with. I have recommended Dr Ellis and Dr Cordova to many of my coworkers and their families. I am having another PDT treatment in June, I wouldn't go anywhere else for it. read more

Guess they are too busy dealing with acne scars and other non-life threatening issues to deal with serious problems. Should move to Canada. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare. They will not return voice mail messages, and the system constantly transfers you to the voice mail. You have to keep calling constantly to try and get a human. When you do, they are rude and tell you they are booked for 2 to 3 months. It's like they just want you to go away because it's too hard to schedule you. No one there acts like they like their job except for the doctors, everyone is pissed off and acts like the patients are in their way. This clinic could care less if you stay there as a patient. I like the doctor, but will find a new clinic as soon as my insurance allows. read more

I was roughly abandoned as a patient during the course of treatment, after a disagreement with one of their doctors.

The front-end staff is very rude and unprofessional. They told me the wrong date for my appointment, with no apologies when I showed up on that day. When we came in for the "correct" appointment you're not greeted with any smile or general kindness, just what they need from you. Almost like you're an unnecessary distraction. Thankfully, the nurse that took my husband's history and the doctor were very nice, hence the extra star there. When we went to check out, the woman was talking to her co-workers, complaining about another patient, and then on the phone. No niceties involved. While she was talking I placed their invoice on the desk, she took it, then proceeded to ask me what my copay "should" be while on the phone with another individual. Very unpleasant experience. Customer service is what keeps you in business, and I think they should re-evaluate what they are portraying. I would never come back here. read more

I was recommended to Dr. Efron-Everett by my sister-in-law after a horrible experience with a Scottsdale dermatologist. My visit was excellent from the first phone call to all follow ups. Dr. Efron-Everett referred me to Dr. Kate Cordova for my MOHS procedures and she was worth every minute of the wait to get an appointment. Office was very nice and front office staff were super nice to. However, I had the worst experience ever the medical assistant was extremely rude her name was Laurie. I made a complaint on my way out to the front office manager and I was told she had been there 20 years and sorry but she gets like that every now and then. I dont care how long Laurie has worked for the company her behavior was UNACCEPTABLE and I guess Beatrice Keller Clinic is ok with it . Well I will never go back there again nor will I recommened Beatrice Keller Clinic to anyboody. This review is strictly in regards to the scheduling process. I am new to this clinic, I called in to schedule an appointment for my son. The girl who answered was extremely rude. I can't remember her name, I think it was Yolanda, but that could be way off. I asked what their hours are and she immediately cut me off and said they we're booked for the next 4 weeks. So I got a little defensive and said that's not what I asked. After she gave me the office hours I said I would like to schedule an appointment. She began to get my information, without even asking who the appointment is for, so by the time she asked for my DOB I had to ask her if she wanted my DOB or the patients. She gave me attitude once again for something that wasn't my fault and I could hear her hitting her delete button. But once she found out who the appointment was for she then all of a sudden was able to look up a cancelation for an appointment within that same week I called. As far as the MA or the physician there I'm not sure how they are. My sons dad took him and he said the doctor was nice but The front office receptionist, his name is Charlie, was rude as well. read more

Triple make sure that whatever they do is covered by your insurance. Went there just for some ointment for a rash caused by my medicine. They didn't believe it would be caused by my medicine and told me I should have an allergy testing done. I didn't want to but they told me my insurance would cover it. A month later I get a bill for 500. Called my insurance and said no they don't cover that. Liars!!!!!!! Made me get a allergy testing just to get my money. read more

Dr. Benjamin Vasquez was very impatient and uncaring physician. He only saw me for 5 minutes and didn't care seeing my skin problems. He cut me off every time I talk about my problems and prescribed me the meds. I went to see him to be cured not to get kicked out in 5 minutes. His tech needs to learn how to clean his room every patient. I thought doctors go to school to take good care of patients instead like him, he only wants money. read more

Avoid this office at all costs. My husband and two kids went in for a skin check and the doctor spent about 15 minutes glancing at all four of us. I mentioned that I wanted a mole on my chin removed for aesthetic reasons and he said he could take care of it right then. He did a horrible job at removing it. I now have to see a plastic surgeon to fix the job he did. To make it worse I was billed for the biopsy from the lab, billed for the biopsy that he did and also billed for two out of four of us that allegedly insurance didn't cover. We all have the same insurance so it is unlikely that insurance would decline two out of four claims. When I called in I was told there was a "processing error" and the two insurance claims would be taken care of. The office stands by the $82 they are billing me for what is going to cost me hundreds of dollars to have fixed by a plastic surgeon. I was also told that since i declined a follow up visit it was essentially my fault for the outcome. I was never told I needed to come in for a follow up. After the stitches were put in the doctor told me I could come back to get them removed or if I had a friend that was a nurse or doctor the friend could remove them and that there would not be any reason to come back in. read more
