Talented and Experienced stylist! Honest One of the only reasons I will go to my hometown. (Location isn't ideal, but she is worth the drive.) For the last 14 years I've had Mari (Owner/Lead stylist) and her team be the ones to handle my hair. I am not particularly picky about much but when it comes to my hair, it's a different story. I am extremely selective on who styles it and trims it... or simply touches it. Hands off, all!!! From Prom, Graduations, lazy days and some of the biggest events in my life, she has been my go to. Up-do's, straightening and curls/waves. I am confident that her team will deliver and make my hair look fabulous as they always have. As for having my hair being trimmed; I will only allow her to be the one to handle that. I am sure her team is capable of doing it, but I prefer for her to be the one to do so. She has taken me from waist length hair to The Bob cut (Which looked horrible on me). She did a great job, but I should have known that a really round face (My face was round..er) wasn't going to suit short hair well. She never fails to give her honest opinion and I trust her experienced judgment. Upon making my decision to chop off my mane she did express her thoughts on it. However, when I want something.. I want it and I do it. I did it. Thank goodness my hair grows quickly. Now, I am back to waist length hair. I love having full and long hair. When I desire change, she gives me subtle layers and bangs (to suit my face). If I say ' Only one inch' she eliminates just that. I've never had an issue with her getting scissor happy. I don't play with coloring my hair. However, I have recommended family/friends to her and she has done a wonderful job with lightening, highlights and/or darkening. She has products to help restore your hair for those who have damaged their locks. If you are looking for a stylist that will be honest. (She will not do a job she doesn't feel confident about, and will give you her honest opinion) A stylist with over 25 years of experience and reliable. Visit, Mari. Mari books fast, appointment highly suggested. Pricing is all depending on the services being done. I wouldn't say she is too highly priced, but she isn't inexpensive. She takes pride in her work and you truly receive what you pay for. Parking is available behind the establishment. Salon is clean and spacious. She books fairly quick. Don't try walking in either it won't work. Call her you won't be disappointed. My mother and I have been coming to get our hair done with Mari for quite some time and its always a pleasure. My mother being a blonde requires someone who knows what they're doing along with extensive product knowledge. Mari and her two daughters provide this and more. Being a family owned business it is a bit small but not terribly. There is a restroom in the back and shelves of product from which to buy. Only the most quality products are used here and the prices are also competitive. You feel comfortable and leave with a pleasant experience. Mari usually does have clients regardless of what day of the week so would suggest making an appointment to secure time with her. She offers an array of services and is very professional. I highly recommend this place. *Note* there isn't very much parking and might be a bit difficult due to street traffic. read more
