Cabin we rented in South Fork, CO was filthy. Cobwebs, dust bunnies everywhere, crumbs in the kitchen sink, dirty coffee maker and stove.

Working with Beau was great. He is very responsive, fast, and professional.

"Filthy place! The house was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The sheets had not been changed, there was a blood spot on the sheets! We slept on top of the bedspread and used a blanket we brought with us. Dirty towels on the dryer, filthy carpet, dirty window, windows dont open very well, it smells, that's why there are candles everywhere. Dirty wash cloth hanging over shower head, I left it hanging there, I'm not touching it. No trash bags for kitchen trash can, we bought as for us to use, trash can lid was left on the kitchen counter, dishes in the sink, dead bug in a bowl I took out of the cabinet, dead flies in the bathtub, no washcloths, I used a dishrag from the kitchen, shampoo, an body wash samples had been used. Couch and chair look like they came from a yard sale, very hard to get out of, almost like sitting on the floor. Two fire hazards!!! Household extension cord used to extend the flight over the dining table. Coating stripped off, wires twisted together then wrapped around the metal base on the ceiling beam. Romex wire staple on the wall to wire a light on the room on the other side of the kitchen. Both are against the law, both code violations! Railing at steps is wobbly, two holes in the deck, one looks like a burn mark. Kid used a pen to scribble on the dining chair. On top of this we are notified we have to leave or two hours while an inspection is done. This couldn't have been done before or after we were there? I would have found another place, but we would have lost part of our money. The only reason we stayed here is we were having our septic system inspected and cleaned at our place at Hermit Lakes, we had to be there to remove the toilet and show them where the septic was and go through everything when it was done. Believe me, we would never stay here again, no one should until it is thoroughly cleaned and especially the fire hazards taken care of. read more

I wish there was an option to give this business 0 stars, but unfortunately there isn't. We booked a place through Beau Meyer's Reality to stay at while skiing. We told we could pay cash when we arrive, that we didn't need to fill out paperwork or anything until we get to South Fork. The dates on vrbo were blocked off for the time we were staying imediately after speaking to Beau. We called 4 days before the trip to check on the procedures when we arrive, and they said we didn't have a reservation, that they have already booked the place for another family! They were not willing to help us find another rental or anything. They have left us scrambling and don't care. When people make that bad of mistakes, they should be trying to help fix it and make it right. This company could care less and it's sad to think how bad their customer service is. How can you be in the rental business when you can't correctly rent your properties? Again, they deserve 0 stars, 1 star is too much. read more
