It's easy to navigate and find the office you're looking for. I will say, the check in and check out processes are exhausting. When we arrived, only one check in kiosk was working. I helped an elderly patient work the system as well as it's not super intuitive like other U of M self check in kiosks have been elsewhere that I've used. The check in line without the self check kiosk is long, think 12 patients long. Checking out requires you to wait in the same long line. It goes by faster than you think, but it took me 15 minutes to get through. Someone with a physical injury may be hard pressed to stand in line for 15 minutes. My toddler was tired and cranky and that was hard enough. I think they need a speedy lane for those with physical ailments or others that have a hard time physically standing. It would be excellent for there to be a large-print sign letting patients with physical disabilities know they can enter a different queue. The doctor we saw through Kellogg Eye Center there was top notch, as they all are, but I may opt for driving to Ann Arbor for future appointments.

DO's for general medical and family care are BETTER! They are trained extremely well, think things out and trained to look at your body as a whole being and aren't just saying, "yeah, ok, let's write you a script, and never find the root cause. Primecare of Novi knows how to care for people and children. I also like the fact that there are a few women in this practice. Every one of these doctors is super nice as well.

Unfortunately, the current health care crisis has sent the health care system in a tizzy. It took several hours of driving around and calling local clinics to find one that would take a walk-in patient. I was lucky to find Express Med. Upon arrival, I saw a line of folks in front of the building waiting to be checked-in for testing. To my surprise, the line shortened quickly. I realized why once inside. The staff was operating like a well-oiled machine. Everyone was working efficiently while taking the time to show kindness and care to the patients. I checked in and was instructed to wait in my vehicle for a call. A few hours later, I was called in. The physician assistants were thorough and helpful. Although they were slammed with patients, everyone I encountered was cool, calm and full of positivity. It was a great experience. The clinic sits in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I found the decor so cool! There were album covers, music memorabilia and references all over the walls. There is an artificial fireplace and Motown hits being played on a television. Very soothing environment for a place that I'm sure most people visit filled with anxiety.

And what do you know they all came back negative! So they sent me on my way with a nausea medication and a cough suppressant when I had NO COUGH! I Had to call back up here because I was not getting any better and to have them call in an antibiotic. And once I started taking the antibiotics that I HAD TO ASK TO BE SENT IN I was feeling better.
