Husband took our weed whacker here to have it repaired, right off the bat it is a $30 for an estimate. They told him it'll be a 1 week turn around to get a quote for repairs needed. After two weeks my husband had to call them to follow up and they couldn't find our item and said he couldn't recall us leaving it with them and he'd look for it an call us back. 1 week later they call and say that the repair would cost $260, we declined the repair and told them we'd be back in a few days for pick up. The next day a lady calls saying we needed to pick it up because they only keep items for no longer than 3 weeks or they'd keep it. Mind you it took them 3 weeks for turn around time on repair estimate which we explained to her. Her response was " well we've been busy". She asked if we'd like to donate the item to the store, we ended up picking it up the next day. I don't recommend this shop. I wouldn't have minded if they told us the turn around time would be longer than a few weeks. Save yourself your $30 read more

It's nice to see The Lawnmower Shop at 625 Magnolia Ave, Beaumont that treats customers with care, courtesy, and honesty, they deserve to be publicly acknowledged! Annette, the store manager and her staff, brought life back to our old lawnmower promptly, with reasonable repair costs and professional service. After a incredible conversation with the store manager/ or owner on behalf of a craftsman tiller I was engaged in a not what you want but only what we are going to do sale. I found my self paying for a inspection fee ( 40.00) to find out a said frozen carburetor was out fault, with a additional 93.00 and some change it's was rebuilt. The tiller ran fine at the shop once at my house for 15 mins, the next day the tiller wouldn't start found that the mechanic removed and threw away the carbon canister that is costing me 50.00 to replace, a wood screw to hold the air filter cover on and a air filter that didn't fit the model, not actually sure if the carb got fixed or sprayed with wd40, if your product is not a Stihl be wary of the repairs. read more

Took a pressure washer for oil. Leak in the pump was told 1 to 2 weeks after six weeks got it back brought it home put it in the garage and all the oil leaked out the exact thing that I took it in to get fixed called in to ask them what they fixed They didn't really care. They had no notes and basically hung up on me. I would not take anything here. read more

Very disappointed with this shop. Came in today looking for a pull starter assembly. I did not know the model or model number as this lawn mover engine is off of a custom built mini bike and I can not find the model or model number. So I was told he could not help me without that info. I brought in the starter assembly and a piece that connects to the motor and he was not even willing to compare it to other parts or inform me on what else can fit. So After 5 min of searching on the internet after this occasion I was able to find the part on amazon. I came here to support a local business as I live in Beaumont. When I saw how poor the reviews were here, I had to put in a good word. I first started bringing a few pieces of equipment here 18 months ago. At that time I had my doubts, as the place was very dis-organized, and jammed with all kinds kinds of machines and miscellaneous parts. It is true that the owners' (husband/wife) English is hard to understand, but I felt like they were very earnest, so I gave them a try. Since then, every time I come in, I feel like the place is improving, so I have gradually been bringing them more equipment. The shop/store looks better organized every time I come in. They now have two full-time mechanics that both speak good English-one is a native English speaker. The owner seems to realize that it is better for him to let customers communicate directly with the mechanics...they will invite you into the back work area, to discuss any concerns you have. Today, I had to bring back a piece of equipment that they had repaired just three weeks ago. I did not have the paperwork, but they recognized me and my machine, and fixed the problem under warranty at no charge, with ZERO hassle. If the owners formerly did not know how to run a business, they are learning fast! read more

If we could give "0" stars we would .... We are one of the many victims of this shop. Left our top of the line maruyama brush trimmer, went back to pick it up, with claim ticket , and the could not find the trimmer , nor the repair invoice. Tried to settle for replacement and the owner was out of the shop. While their , overheard several customers looking for their piece of equipment that apparently had been picked up by someone else, and the owners were calling them to bring it back..... What a mess !!! The last attempt to settle for replacement fell on deaf ears . The owner did not choose to make a fair adjustment.... So he stated, " take me to small claims court to see if the judge will have me pay you" HE WAS THE ONE WHO LOST OUR MACHINE ........BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!! read more

Worst Experience with customer service I have EVER had and I'm 50 years old so I've had my share. Took in my lawn mower for warranty service that had been authorized by Troy-Built. It took three times longer than promised. They tried to charge me for the service and I had to call Troy-Built to get that taken care of. Then get it home and WTF, It is still broken. Took lawn mower to Wilbur's Lawn Mower repair. They told me Beaumont Lawn Mower did not change any of the parts they stated. Wilbur's did some adjustments. Lawn mower now runs great with no attempt to charge me. DO NOT USE Beaumont Lawn Mower for anything. Absolutely crooked. read more

BEWARE THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF. I REPEAT BEWARE.. I took in my weeder last Thursday to get the carb cleaned and replace an old gas line. A week later still no call so I decided to show up at shop. They brought my weeder out in pieces and told me it was trash and that it was time for a new one. Then he's next line was WE HAVE SOME FOR SALE. I brought my machine in to get it repaired, not to have some one decide if it's worth the repair cost. These people pick and choose what they want to work on. . Plus they charged me 20 dollars that they would not refund. I tried talking too the old man( fake mechanic) and all he would say is thank you come again. I took it to another repair shop on 6 street here in Beaumont( a few blocks from food4less)and the tech cleaned carb and replaced fuel line for 30 bucks. Running like new. So please read all the reviews here and make the right choice by not doing business with these clowns. I wish I would have read this reviews earlier. read more

Worst customer service. I took in my weed eater to be repaired. After 2 weeks I called to check status and they took my name and number but never returned my call. A week later same issue never returned my call. When I walked into the business the owner is playing a game on his computer right after was told he would find my eater and call me back. He searches around and found it, sitting in the same area I left it in untouched and not serviced. No explanation just a lot of I'm sorrys. read more

Do not use these people for any type of service. They literally lost my weed eater that was less than 2 years old. My wife came in 2 times already to claim it and all they can say to her is that they lost it and don't know where it is. They keep telling her that they are going to build a new one which probably means it's gonna be constructed of left over broken parts and be problematic. I just came in after 6 weeks of dealing with this and all they can say is sorry and they will make a new one hopefully by next week. These people have no idea how to run a business and are stealing equipment. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! read more

I would not recommend this business. We took our Echo hedger in for maintance. Went to pick it up and owner can't find it. Refuses to make adequate replacement. Owner is unreasonable and won't make it right. Told us to go to small claims court. Owner hard to understand due to broken english. read more
