I had the worst experience during this whole Covid-19 pandemic at Beaumont Pediatric Center. Not only did they make us feel unwelcome but Dr. Worley traumatized my child with getting the Covid-19 test. Instead of making my 8-year-old sick and scared child feel at ease, he scared him from ever going to any doctor now. He preceded to tell my son the test was going to sting and hurt bad. Didn't try to console him once he started crying and freaking out. I am very unhappy with Dr. Worker and his associates. Thank God for Orange County urgent Center for treating the way Beaumont Pediatric Center should have. I will be looking for another Pediatrician after today. read more

The receptionist was rude and uncaring! The Drs are probably fine, but I'd go anywhere else so you don't have to deal with staff.

I've used Dr. Brown for 20 years for my 7 children. Some of the kids have been preemies and required extra care. We love her and Dr. Hubble. I now have 2 grandsons and they see her, too. They always take the extra time that the child and the parents need. read more

Rude staff, definitely don't recommend taking your kids here. The doctor has a reputation for being great, but the staff ruins it. Not helpful, not friendly, and overall terrible. I recommend hiring a staff with good customer service skills if they're gonna be dealing with customers. read more

Moved to Beaumont. First saw Dr. Hubbel. He was ok, no problems with him other than being a little impersonal. Next visit we saw Dr. Brown as Dr. Hubbel was out of the office. She and my children seemed to "click" much better. I talked to office manager. She said office policy does not allow you to switch providers in the office. I talked to her and said this made no sense to me. She tried her best to explain to me why they do this. I tried to explain why it is ridiculous. I even tried to explain that I have a little girl and cant you understand that just perhaps little girls are more comfortable with another female examining them? They didn't care. I relented and said ok. We will stick with Dr. Hubbel as we are okay with him. Fast forward one week. I get a certified letter in the mail from this office. It is from Dr. Hubbel. It says he is sorry to hear we are unhappy with him and the office policies of switching providers and they are removing our children from his clinic. WOW. I never said anything bad about him, I just inquired about the policy. I also never requested to leave the clinic. Apparently you not only can't switch providers but IF you request to do so your children will be forcefully removed. Isn't that a bit of retaliation for you. I think these physicians need to realize they are servicing children. You get that CHILDREN! So maybe just maybe they should stop acting like Children and try to be the slightest bit accomodating. If I could give a 0 rating I would. Don't waste your time with this center. I do not recommend this place at all. The waiting times are ridiculous. Every time we wait for at least an hour prior to seeing a doctor, then another 1.5 - 2 hours during the visit. I have to plan to be off from work at least a half a day for sick visits and doctor visits. For sick walk ins, they recommend you call however they don't answer the phone. Their recommendation is to continue calling until someone answers! I called and was waiting for someone to answer for 40 min! Then when I finally got though to someone I had to wait another 1.5 hours before the doctor could see us! When you finally see the doctor it's quick, rushed, and low quality. I can't ask questions without them rushing me. I waited all this time for them to tell me what I already knew. Very poor service and don't get me started on the rude receptionist. Every single one of them are rude and rush you out the door! I will never bring my kids back here. read more

We started seeing Dr. Cheryl (I think I spelled that right) when my daughter started on the state insurance. I wasn't putting my expectations to high since it's state insurance not private, expected to be rushed in and out by the doctor and for her not the be very personable. But I was so wrong! Dr. Cheryl takes her time with us and loves our daughter. She answers all my questions every time, and never makes me feel like I wasted a trip by being a paranoid new mom, and will write down her recommendations to help my daughter if there isn't a prescription. Her nurse that helps us before we see her (not sure of her name but she is young reddish hair) is so sweet also! We recently missed our well check bc I forgot and the front didn't call to verify and both nurse and doctor were very understanding stating is was their fault they didn't verify and we can reschedule no problem. I'm giving them 5 stars because I truly appreciate Dr. Cheryl for being so great to us, even though the front desk is sometimes not as great, they always still do everything they can for us. They call me back in a timely manner when I call with questions for my doctor also! We definitely recommend her! read more

I decided to leave another review because they tend to have a problem with calling people when they're prescription is ready to pick up and it's very aggravating. I've been told everytime I called to have my sons meds filled that they would call me when they're ready but they never do. So when I mailed in the form to have my sons prescription refilled the last time, I left a note on the form asking them to please call me when it's ready because they never do. I got a call when they were ready and the girl tells me they usually don't call when prescriptions are ready for pick up. She said they usually are ready in 2 to 3 business days. Ummmm.... I'm sorry but I was under the impression that I would be notified when they were ready because that's what I was told the times before. I didn't know I was supposed to know when they would be ready without being notified and I didn't know it was my job to call and check and see if they're ready. So your little receptionist or whatever she is just got yalls rating knocked down by me. Way to go. read more

Moved to the area in July of 2015. Due to our insurance, this was the only provider in the area that we could take our kids to. We first took our 3 and 5 year old for a standard well child exam and were seen by Dr Bartz, who, without getting to know either child or parent, promptly handed us a letter threatening to not see either child if they didn't meet the practice's vaccination requirements within 30 days. Additionally, he was inpersonal and non_engaging with either us (parents) or the kids. Every visit since the initial, we have been greeted by rude and unfriendly staff, have had long wait times, and average medical care. During a sick visit, we saw Dr. Hubbell who was more personable (picked up our 3yo, sat him on his lap while completing paperwork) and knowledgable but, due to the clinic's policies, we are not permitted to switch doctors. They even go as far as making you wait 2 months for a routine appointment rather than allowing to see a different doctor; the other option is to see the nurse practitioner. At this point, we are looking at options in the Baytown/Houston for pediatric care. In summary, if you want impersonable care, this is your place. If you are looking for a pediatrician, look elsewhere. read more
